This is an excellent place for repairs. I gave them a review a few months ago and felt I needed to give them another one. Took my car in to have them take a look at a slow leak in a tire. They took it right in. Found a screw imbedded in it, took it out, and patched the leak. $30!! I'm their biggest fan. Thanks Cormiers. read more

Moved back to MA and needed to complete my vehicle inspection for a sticker. Called their phone line and their automated message listing the hours for inspections was super helpful! Dropped in today mid-morning (w/ no appt.) and was seen in ~20 minutes. As I had moved back from two states that never required a front license plate, the team was super helpful in also getting my front license plate attached to my car in addition to a speedy inspection appointment. Very friendly, multi-generational family owned business that I was referred to from my father who has been going to Cormier's since they moved on Cape 5 years ago. Highly recommend. read more

If you get work done at Cormiers make sure you get your estimate in writing before you have your work done. I had work done and was told it would cost $400-$500 for the job. When I picked up my car the bill was over $700. No explaination! Very dissapointed. read more

Needed an inspection. Same day , drop-in , super friendly service. Family owned and run for many (40+) years. Inspections are closed for an hour around lunch time. I believe 12-1 but suggest calling ahead to be sure. Support small, family owned businesses!! Highly recommend!! read more

We have been using Cormier's since moving down to the Cape full-time in April 2021. They have been extraordinarily responsive and helpful, fit our car into the schedule when we had a mechanical breakdown, and are very fair on prices, etc. Family run business that still treats customers the "old-fashioned" way, meaning with respect. read more

They've saved us money with their willingness to use after-market parts and are one of the few service stations around that still do inspections. I have had 3 different wheel bearings replaced here and I'm always impressed by their service. I do most of my own work but the bearings on my car need to be hydraulically presses into place. They do exactly what I ask and the work is done on time. I use my vehicle for work and drive 45,000 miles a year so I need it done fast and properly. They even put a new engine in my car in 2 days! Great, friendly service. They've earned my loyalty. I bounced around, using different shops and there was always something that I found unsatisfactory at each, but these guy know their stuff! We had the best experience with Cormier's Auto. I can not recommend them enough! We are in the area on vacation and we had car issues. Cormier's was highly recommended so I had our car towed there. I went in for an inspection today. First I watched and overheard two techs continually tell people that they would disregard issues or things they could not check to pass them for inspection. Yet my paper registration was not the correct one in my box although my sticker was up to date. I have a duplicate copy in my email, but they would not accept it or print it, even though they have a printer right there. I had my young daughter with me, and it was very inconvenient. I asked to speak to the manager or owner, but my car was already running and up front, so I left. Poor service and questionable judgment. read more

I've been using Cormier's for a while now. Each time, they have been fair with the price and not charging me for estimating work. I don't have new cars, and they have helped me decide if a car was worth the cost of the repair or not. They truthfully told me when a car wasn't worth fixing, which took money out of their pocket. read more

By far THE WORST CAR MECHANIC SHOP IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Well i was an idiot and drove it with the oil light on which seized the engine so we had it towed to Cormiers. It was my 80 year old grandmothers car. They allegedly replaced the entire engine which cost over $5,000 then charged me another $1,000-$2,000 in labor. I drove out of the garage and didnt even get a quarter mile down the road before my check engine light came on, so i brought it to autozone to have them check the light. 12 damn pages of electrical and mechanical failures came up and when i brought it back to cormiers they said theyll look into the problem but id STILL have to pay for all the labor after i just spent over $7,000 for a new engine that same day. Then they proceeded to argue with me about whatever they did wrong. I will NEVER bring my service there again and suggest to everyone/anyone to go to ANY other shop but them. They rip you off and tell just care about making money off you. Zero integrity in there actions. Worst experience not just at a car shop, but ANYWHERE in general. I'm not sure what these other people are talking about. I've been in here a few times because it's convenient to my home but I've had nothing but issues. They are less than friendly, always seem rushed, way too eager to collect their money really quickly before the service is even done and you've had time to review their work. Work is less than the kind of good quality I expect when forking over hundreds of dollars. I've got friends in the area and I know a couple told me not to go here but not until after it was too late. I'll find some place else in the future and you should too!!! read more
