From the owners of Coast Hotel here in Anchorage the first phase of Alaska Park opened in January of 2014. I say first phase as some of the property is still under construction. When completed the building will be easily recognizable as it will be shaped like an airplane. I have seen the plans and look forward to seeing the end result. How this works is fairly easy. You pull up to the valet lane and are given a ticket for your automobile. The valet will park it for you while you catch a nice warm shuttle to the airport. When you arrive back in Anchorage you call the number on your ticket and they will come and pick you up and have your car waiting for you. Best feature? All snow will be brushed off your car if you go in the winter and your car will be ready and toasty warm. They do take reservations online so it is easy to make sure they have space for you. When I arrived I was warmly greeted. I had tried to load my luggage into the shuttle but was gently shooed away. It really is end to end service. Right now they are running a special where you can download a coupon from their website and you get the first week free. From my understanding if you don't use those days the first time you do business with them they do carry over. And from those days you do pay for service? You earn Alaska Airlines miles. With as expensive as parking can be on airport I really love this alternative and look forward to utilizing it more when I head out of town.

When the valet retrieved my vehicle, I was informed that my tire was flat and loose. By loose, he meant that the tire was off the rim. My truck was not dropped off in that condition. The tire was clearly not flat or off the rim when I drove in and left the vehicle. Additionally, the check-in attendant did not note or mention any issue with the tire when my vehicle was signed in, which further confirms it was not in that condition at drop-off. A During this interaction, the attendant simply handed me my keys and walked away. There was no direction given to return to the front desk or complete any type of incident report or claim. I came here yesterday for a quick wash while running errands during the day. Cyber Express Wash is…read morelocated on the corner of Denali and Calais (33rd Ave) in the old Johnson's Tire & Auto Service behind Century Cinemas. The Disneyland-like ride for your car wash runs on a conveyor belt at the rear of the building where there is an option to drive straight to get your car cleaned thoroughly by a team of detailers or turn right to pull up to a car vacuum station and do the work yourself. Three different memberships are available for customers: the Iridium for $49/month which includes unlimited car washes with high pressure blast, ceramic coating, and deep gloss top coat added to the package (this is the one I currently have). The Palladium for $59/month which is everything from the Iridium Plan plus graphene coating and tire shine, and the Unobtanium which is normally at $120/month but is currently offered at $99/month. This is basically everything from the previously mentioned plans to include unlimited express interior detail. The employees here are friendly and work really hard especially in the detailing area. There are no appointments necessary for a detailing, just simply drive up after washing your car. If you don't have the Unobtanium package, you would pay an additional $30.00 at a separate cashier station set up at the detailing area. The detailing itself doesn't take too long, about 20 or 30 minutes at the most. This was the standard wait time for me whenever I opt for this service. There is a lounge area with chairs and a sofa for customers to wait and relax while watching TV or passing the time using your cell. You can also watch the detailers work on your car as it moves slowly on a conveyor belt. It's very hard work with the fast pace and the variety of vehicles coming through. Don't forget to tip the detailers if you can. A tip jar is set up at a table by the end of the conveyor belt on your way out. My only issue with the carwash is the lack of coordination on directing cars into the carwash when there are three separate lines at the pay stations during the really busy times. Drivers are not sure who goes into the carwash first after paying and there are customers moving in aggressively to get lined up resulting in near-collisions. Better communication by the employees manning the pay stations and signaling drivers to proceed or stop would be a great help to fix that. Aside from that, this is a great place to get your car cleaned without having to wait too long. A second location is being planned between 5th and 6th Ave downtown across from the Swickard Anchorage car dealership and the Kindred Spirits coffee hut which would help ease the congestion at this location.

Per the contract, dates are only an estimate and they do not compensate for lateness. Now I have to reserve a rental vehicle. Paying the entire bill up front is not safe with this company.
