I have seen Stacy at Bambu Organic Salon for many years and have loved her styling and color…read moreservices so much so that when she moves her salon, I always follow. She is exceptionally skilled and so importantly, all products are organic! Considering that what goes on our hair and scalp gets absorbed into our bodies, it only makes sense to minimize, whenever possible, chemical exposures in hair/skin care. Organic salons are not frequent in places away from big city centers, so I feel very fortunate to be able to go to Stacy. She is exceptional, products she uses are healthy, and she has been good at listening to what I want and creating the best style and color for me. Besides that, she is just a really nice person to talk with and she has a calming presence. Now that organic hair care is available, I would never go to a chemical based salon and I cannot recommend her enough!

My first criteria in getting my hair colored is finding a cruelty-free vegan option and Bambu delivered on that - they use Organic Coulour Systems color. Stacy did an outstanding job in producing a vibrant but natural blonde. She was welcoming and personable. Often when you have a new stylist the conversation can be stilted but there was no awkwardness at all. I appreciated that it was done in a reasonable amount of time; not rushed in the least but I wasn't there for hours on end. She was the ultimate professional. The salon could not have been cuter or more relaxing. I can't recommend Bambu enough and can't wait to return!!

Spending $81 (not including tip) I am incredibly disappointed with both the quality of service and…read morethe customer service here. I received a professional builder gel manicure, and within just one week, the nails started lifting and peeling off cleanly in one solid piece. By week two, six full nails have completely popped off and the rest are lifting. Because they came off intact without damaging my natural nails, it is clear the nail plate was not properly dehydrated or prepped during the appointment. When I called to explain that the product failed to bond and ask how this could be resolved, I was met with zero flexibility. The receptionist put me on hold three separate times to check what could be done, only to repeatedly hide behind their strict 5-day policy. To make matters worse, after refusing to offer any assistance or a discounted fix, the receptionist just said goodbye--without even asking if I wanted to book an appointment to come in and get them properly fixed or safely removed. Having them fall off in days due to poor preparation is frustrating, but the complete lack of customer care and the receptionist coming back and saying they have a 5 day policy and have a nice day on the phone is why I will not be returning to this salon.

All in all, great for the price (signature was $48 base price, additional fees depending on type of nail polish and design). I also saw a few people get manicures and it looked like they do such a good job with designs too, but will come back to try myself!
