: I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. I…read morebrought my vehicle here after a blowout caused damage to the driver-side front of my car. The shop replaced the control arm, strut, wheel, and tire. Before returning my vehicle, I was told it had been thoroughly inspected for any additional damage and was safe for normal driving. The car initially seemed okay, but after approximately 20 miles it began driving progressively worse. I contacted the shop immediately and told them something was not right. I was told the mechanic would not be back until the following week and that the vehicle had already been inspected and cleared for normal driving. I eventually took the vehicle to another repair facility. After road-testing it, that mechanic documented that both bolts on the left lower control arm were loose and that the front bolt was approximately 4-5 threads backed out of the mounting hole. This was the control arm that had just been replaced by the original shop. The second mechanic had to tighten and torque both bolts to specification. Additional corrective work was also necessary. The lower front-end bracket/assembly had to be repositioned and properly centered, the wheel bearing was replaced, and additional alignment work was required. I have spent hundreds of dollars out of pocket correcting problems after being told my vehicle had been repaired, inspected, and was safe to drive. What bothers me most isn't simply that a mistake happened. It's the seriousness of the mistake and the fact that I called almost immediately when the vehicle started driving incorrectly after leaving the shop, yet I had already been assured that it had been inspected and was safe. The mechanic/shop has since sent me $180, but that does not come close to resolving my expenses or my concerns about the quality and safety of the labor I paid for. I have requested a refund of the labor charges while allowing them to keep the money charged for the parts I actually received. I have invoices and written documentation supporting the issues described above. A customer should be able to rely on a professional repair shop when they are told that major suspension repairs have been completed and their vehicle is safe to drive. In my experience, that did not happen here.

I was having noise/grinding in the rear end of my Ford F150. My technician, Kaleb, met me at 800am on the drop off day. He drove the car with me to ensure he heard what I was hearing. After I left, they performed an 80 point inspection. The results of the inspection identified things that were wrong and needed immediate fix. It also identified "should haves" based on mileage and timing. The text allow me to "accept" or "decline" the service. I phoned for clarification on one item and was given a thorough explanation. I authorized them to perform the tasks I needed most. I received a call at 430pm that night indicating my car was done. I will be going back to Solomon's for future car repair needs.
