Every step of the way she was there for every question or any guidance we needed her for. We chose a blended style of photojournalistic and posed shots. Everyone raved about her as a photographer and some who had events coming up asked for her information. Seeing a few previews, we know fully that we will be blown away by the photographs. Both my now husband and I are terrible at taking photos and so goofy and uncomfortable taking photos. Caitlin and Lexi made us feel so comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera! If you don't get to the end of this review and only read one thing: Hiring Sandra was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She is beyond dedicated to giving you the wedding of your dreams, and her ability to execute and make it ALL happen is nothing short of extraordinary. Every wedding needs a Sandra! We had the pleasure of working with Sandra from the beginning of our wedding planning journey all the way through our 3 day wedding weekend. When we were stumped looking for venues that could accommodate our large guest list AND a weekend-long celebration. Sandra approached us with a "think outside the box" venue: Timber Lake Camp, a beautifully serene summer camp nestled in the Catskills. We were unsure about the idea of a summer camp wedding but trusted her instinct - and thankfully we did. The day we visited the camp we knew it was PERFECT. 500 gorgeous acres with plenty of room to accommodate ALL of our guests, that we could have all to ourselves for an entire weekend - camp cabins, facilities, staff, and all! It truly felt like she had pulled a rabbit out of a hat and that was only the start of Sandra's magic! Throughout the entire year and a half long planning process, Sandra lent us her ear and expertise: she listened to our wishes, concerns, thoughts; guided us through a million different decisions; provided alternative options/ideas to meet our budget; and found the perfect vendors to bring our vision to life. She sat in on our calls with the coordinator at the camp, and even made visits to the camp with us - including one visit during a snowstorm! She also managed our multitude of vendors (including 3 separate caterers!) from the initial inquiries all the way through to the end of packing up after the wedding. When the wedding weekend came around, Sandra stayed on site all 3 days and made every event run smoothly - we felt like she was somehow everywhere all at once! We had multiple events, including our rehearsal, a Welcome BBQ, Karaoke Night, late night bonfire, and activities throughout the camp. If there were any hiccups, we didn't know about them! The day of the wedding, between everything she was coordinating and the multiple vendors on-site, she somehow still found time to check in with us to make sure we were okay. But honestly we truly felt at ease with Sandra running the show. Her professionalism, calmness, and get-it-done attitude made every part of the weeknd run seamlessly! And on top of it all, she made our marriage official by signing our marriage license. :) A total bonus that she is ordained and a special memory to share with her as she was such a big part of our special day! Our guests are still talking about how magical the weekend was. Many specifically commented that even with so many events and activities going on, it was one the most well-coordinated and organized weddings they'd attended. It was definitely a huge effort to pull off a 3 day wedding weekend on a 500 acre camp, but teamwork truly made this dream work! Not only did she…read morestreamline the bride's "to do" list by recommending musicians and florists, her excellent knowledge of wedding-day requirements helped ,  my Daughter in Law Amanda immensely, saving her lots of computer search time and false-starts.  Her help walking us through the rehearsal was vital, getting us organized the day of and "on our spots" at the right critical time. It's all such a whirlwind of activity. And the logistics at our farm were challenging, to say the least. I also greatly appreciated how, during the actual wedding and party afterward, Sandra and her assistant were there, in the background, keeping the caterer happy, moving tables, shuttling slightly inebriated guests to their cars, (thank you, especially for that. I think I would still find people walking the horse pasture fence, looking for their cars.) And for doing the behind-the-scenes things that rarely are noticed, unless they're not done. (For example, one of the porta potties malfunctioning). Sandra handled that with quiet speed. And mostly I appreciated how she took care of Amanda's mother's doilies, the family mementoes, tucking things away in the pool house for safe keeping. And for a good, general tidying up at the end of the night.

The Rotary Club of Moraga just completed our 18th Nite at the Races event this past weekend…read more Supporting both a Moraga School Safety project and a children's library in the Congo this event was our most successful ever. We raised over $30 thousand for Moraga Schools and $14 thousand for the library. DJ RyanO was our emcee and auctioneer for the evening. His creativity and energy put our event over the top. His suggestions added thousands of dollars to our auction revenue. His energy kept the crowd engaged and donating! His support both before and during the event made all the difference! From the initial consultation to the big day, he was professional, organized, and so much fun to work with! Ryan listened and took the time to understand our music preferences and created a playlist that perfectly captured the vibe we wanted. He kept our guests on their feet all night long! What mattered most to me was that the evening flowed effortlessly--and thanks to Ryan's experience and professionalism, it absolutely did. A few things didn't go exactly as planned, but Ryan is so smooth that no one even noticed. Thanks to him, it felt flawless! As our MC, he managed every transition seamlessly, read the crowd beautifully, and kept the energy high from start to finish. The sound quality was top-notch, the lighting set the perfect atmosphere, and every special moment felt perfectly timed--even when things behind the scenes weren't! It is very spacious venue that can accommodate a large party. It was a working barn that had been converted to a wedding venue. It is pretty much bare bones. On the first floor, It has one male bathroom and a female bathroom with two small stalls. There is also one large handicapped bathroom. There is one groomsmen suite with few couches and chairs and tables. There is also a bridal suite in a converted shed right next to the main barn that has two sinks, a couch, a table, and few chairs. The second floor is where the indoor ceremony and reception takes place. There is ample space outside for an outdoor wedding as well. The one downside to this venue is that it is a barn that doesn't have any heating. It was May and it was 50F inside the barn. You can never really predict the weather. It also had very few couches or chairs so be prepared to bring your own. Unfortunately it was raining the day of so we brought everything from the bridal suite to the handicapped bathroom so the bride and the party could get ready. We had to move it all again into the groomsmen suite because we couldn't occupy the handicapped restroom. The sink in the handicapped restroom was leaking. They tried to tinker with it but it was not fixed. There was also not enough garbage bags and the garbage cans were way too small. So also make sure to bring your own garbage bags. Also the bathrooms have a composting toilets and so it naturally smelled. The running water is full of sulfur and so it naturally smelled like eggs. The two bathrooms were the only areas that were heated. It was a working barn before so there are some areas of the first floor that smelled like horses still. The valet parking provided by the venue are just attendants that point and direct the guests to were they should park. Also keep in mind that the roads will get insanely muddy when it does rain. All in all, the venue does provide amazing pictures and photo ops. I'm sure it would be a lot warmer in the summer. And it does provide a venue that allows customization of all aspects of the wedding. If you are someone that wants to have complete customization of your wedding then definitely check this place out.

As beautiful as the barn and views are of The Hill, is how fantastic the staff who runs the property is. Lisa is helpful, kind and super flexible. They allowed us the freedom to hand pick all our vendors, visit almost anytime we liked, answered all our questions promptly and decorate how ever we wanted. Our friends and family are still talking about how unique and fun our wedding was because of the location! We felt extremely comfortable planning our wedding at The Hill, there was no restriction on time we could come the day of or what we could do with the space. We could not have asked for a better venue for the kind of personalized wedding we wanted! The views are gorgeous, the barn is amazing, the staff are stupendous! I was nervous about booking her due to fears of getting lighting correct (various cultures, background, poor lighting conditions, weather issues) but my trusted friend had used her, I prayed about it and she was the most flexible person when needing to do an unconventional uncommon event package and pricing. I am not disappointed in any way. She arrived early, gave clear direction, gave her all, and my entire family loved her beyond measure. They all want to have her photograph events. She's able to beautifully capture all skin hues (even next to each other) regardless of lighting Conditions or weather. We had a rained out event, and truthfully you can not tell it was stormy and wet based on the pictures. The quality was second to none and it's the best photography experience I've ever been a part of, including being in a bridal party for many many weddings. Every single guest in our wedding including some of our vendors asked if we personally knew the officiant since our wedding felt so tailored and personalized to us. We explained how we found her on our recommended vendors list from our venue, the FEAST at Roundhill. We explained how much work Jude put in to get to know us from having us fill out questionnaires about us individually and as a couple. We even had a getting to know each other zoom session where we discussed our hopes and dreams for the wedding. From there Jude provided us with handfuls of suggested prayers, readings, vows, etc. She even guided us in writing our own vows. From there, we had 2-3 more sessions with her as we built and then went through our entire ceremony. That is exactly how we ended up with such an intimate, personalized ceremony because of the amount of work Jude put in.
