As a homeowner, I like to keep my shower looking clean and well-maintained. Over the last year or…read moretwo, I noticed some mold, missing grout, and areas that just weren't looking their best. I decided it was time to have it professionally restored. After finding Grout Hero on Yelp, I chose them because they seemed like a small, family-owned company. They had a handful of great reviews, and I wanted to give them a chance. The owner came out to my house the very same day to provide an estimate. I showed him exactly what I wanted done, he gave me a fair price, and I decided to move forward. Two days later, he sent one of his technicians to complete the work. The technician did an excellent job, and I am very happy with the final result. I debated between leaving a 4-star or 5-star review for one reason only. The appointment window was scheduled between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM. When 12:05 PM arrived and no one had shown up or contacted me, I sent a text message. The owner replied that the technician should arrive within 35 minutes, but it ended up being about an hour and a half later before he arrived. That said, once he got there, he was polite, professional, and did outstanding work. He spoke very little English, but that didn't matter to me because the quality of his work spoke for itself. So, it's 5 stars for the technician who completed the job and 4 stars for the office communication. Overall, I'm very pleased with the work and would use Grout Hero again.

I requested a…read morequote and they were at our home within an hour to give us a quote to match our hand scraped hardwood floor floors, which are one of the favorite things about our older home. We were able to start work within two weeks and every aspect of the communication, and process of getting the work done was easy and seamless. I really really valued the open communication about when the team was en route, how long they would be at our home, when we could expect them back and even when they had to duck out or get a material replaced, the communication was extremely open and clear. I loved that the team was courteous and wearing shirts that matched what was on the truck. Everyone was friendly. And everything fit within the timeline and expectations that was given to me upfront on that very first day. Not only that, but everything was delivered just as expected. On the first day, he said you will not be able to tell the difference between the new room and your older floors, and he was right. While we will always know that our room was done at a different time, I truly don't think that anyone else will ever be able to tell

First of all, I love Master Crafter Tile & Bath! Andy and Alex are amazing!…read more I'll start by saying when I looked to do this remodel for my dad's bathroom I had a few companies that responded with similar and reasonable quotes... but I just really liked Andy. He seemed to be down to earth and honestly was the first one to reach out to me and was at my house on the same day giving a quote. Andy and Alex are fair priced, punctual, knowledgeable, clean (as clean as one can be during construction), respectful, creative and all-around great guys. They communicated everything (timing, cost, start, finish). They worked hard (even thru the weekend), stayed on schedule and they completed the project one day earlier than thought. How refreshing! Alex did a great job with his creativity in blending some of the floor material with the shower tile to break it up and give it some character. I appreciated his ideas. During the construction I was worried about our two fur babies, very curious cats. You know they get into everything. I was pleased as a pet owner, the crew made sure the cats did not escape. After I had paid and the project was essentially by definition done, but not 100%. I could've done the final touches (shower rod, touch up painting, cabinet knobs, sealing the new tile).... But Andy did return to finish and complete all of it. He also took out an extra 15 minutes of his day to install a new fan I bought for my bedroom at no cost, just being a nice guy. Thanks for going above and beyond! I've been ghosted by so many companies... after the job is done and they've been paid, all of the sudden it's like they don't know you. To say I'm beyond satisfied is an understatement!! I recently had a horrible experience with a large company and was completely put off so finding someone that I respected and liked, was very important to me. And honestly I'd rather give my money to a local small business anyway. I will be using their services in the future for any projects that I might have. It's hard to find companies these days that truly care, do things the right way, in a nice way and without being preyed upon financially. Again, REFRESHING! Thank you, Andy and Alex for making this remodel experience a good one. I can't wait to see my dad's reaction to his new and safe bathroom space. Andy, the owner, consulted with us throughout the remodel. In addition to the remodel, we had extra ceiling lights installed and, as can be seen in one set of photos below, where the previous owner had an out-of-place Greek column covering support studs, Andy recommended we just seal the area with drywall, which we did. My wife and I could not be happier. The job was completed in a timely and professional manner and we could not be more pleased with the final product. We highly recommend the company and now we are going to have them remodel our kitchen too.

SUMMARY: Incredibly professional, incredibly thorough, and incredibly competent. We are so lucky…read morethat we did a little bit more searching when our almost-flooring guy wasn't very responsive and we gave Design Floors an opportunity. Glad we did. 5 enthusiastic stars! BACKGROUND: We were recommended to a flooring company by our realtor and I got frustrated by the untimely communication between us and his company. Finally I made the decision w/ my wife to end it right then and there and set an appointment with Siegfried (owner) who was very professional and sounded very competent over the phone. COMMUNICATIONS Let me tell you how impressed we were. After my initial phone call w/ Siegfried, I set an appointment and asked my wife to reconsider and meet Design Floors. Siegfried was always on the spot with anything we asked for. He even provided samples for my wife to take back to our new home and we laid them out on our floor to decide. We finally settled on a color and made an installation appointment. One thing we appreciated is how fast he would answer our questions. If it wasn't by phone, it would be text. INSTALLATION / CREW My wife was representing us at our home and keeping her keen eye on things. She was especially pleased, and as a former corporate interior designer, she knows where companies/contractors will short cut installs. According to her, they did everything right. We put in vinyl flooring throughout the entire home except the master bathroom (we have pets; i have bad allergies) and it looks gorgeous. Because our house was completely empty, they were able to finish our 2,400 sq ft home in 3 days. Might be longer if you have furniture. The crew was led by a man named Elly (sp?) and he and the guys were very respectful of our home and took care to make sure things were clean after every day. They took away all the refuse from the demo and took away boxes and other misc sundries after each work day. Siegfried arranged the plumber whose prices were competitive with market rate. There was an accident (small hole in wall) while moving a piece of heavy furniture but Siegfried decided to take care of it on his own dime. Wow, we were impressed! PRICING Speaking of pricing, his rates were competitive with the 3 other shops I called for estimates. PICS These are just a few shots. Our place looks amazing and we can't wait to move in!
