However, it was a Friday, and the food was oh so worth it! When I say there were so many people willing to wait for their table! It only speaks to the amazing food! For food we started off with some cheese sticks! They were fried to perfection! The cheese inside was indeed fully melted and the cheese pull we had is a testament to how good they were! For our boil, we decided to build our own! I will note they had a good variety of daily specials and there weekend special was so good too, we just were on a mission for some crawfish! We ordered one pound of crawfish, one pound of Black Mussels, and a half pound of snow crab legs! Every pound you order comes with potatoes and corn, and we ended up adding in egg! We chose the spiciest spice level you could, and got the juicy flavor (all seasonings combined)! BEST DECISION EVER! Overall, we cleaned the entire PLATE! The ahi tuna was super fresh and went so well with the accompaniments, and the crab didn't get lost in the other flavors on that tostada. The crisp tortillas underneath also held up really well to each bite; I'm so used to tostadas shattering upon first taste but the structural integrity of Hugo's were super impressive. For our main we split the fish of the day, which was seared Hokkaido scallop atop a bed of corn risotto. This also came pre-split into two bowls so we didn't have to do it ourselves, which was a super nice touch. The scallops were cooked to perfection, super soft and tender with an incredible crust, and the corn risotto was super creamy and savory. Almost a little too salty for me with the amount of cheese, but still so good I almost licked the bowl clean. Seriously good food here - sad it's a bit of a trek from where I live but I can't wait to come back to try more of the menu!

And as far as locations go, we love the flavors here. Like maybe it's because of the demographics, but we feel like we get more taste and kick within the seasonings of the foods at this particular location.
