He stated he test-drove the vehicle and it was drivable but lacked power above 50mph. Discovery of Sabotage and Negligence: I obtained a second opinion, which indicated only the passenger side turbo might need replacement. I purchased an OEM turbo from the dealership for $1,500. When my mechanic prepared to install it, he discovered the throttle body hose was never connected following Quick Auto's replacement--this alone explained 90% of the vehicle's performance issues. Once they began work, Ray kept me updated about progress with daily phone calls. I had most of the recommended work done and still walked out with a smaller bill than I would have had paying for one of the two repairs at the other place. I have no doubt that they can do a good job, as seen with these other positive reviews, but in the same manner that they are professionals in this field, I am surprised they did not find anything wrong with the master cylinder, which does have a direct influence on the clutch. Dave mentioned multiple times that his men did not find an issue with the cylinder at the time of inspection, so "technically" they did their jobs. I should point out, that Dave also said that they test driven it by 10 miles. 10 miles and no issues apparently, yet 2 miles of our struggle before the car gave out. I attached 2 new photos showing the odometer. Unless the paper printed on the day I picked up the keys aren't up to date (and if so, why was I given paperwork that's not up to date?) I am hesitant to believe the car was test driven. Both of us tried it and it feels wrong. NO resistance on the clutch pedal, and he couldn't put the shifter into gear! How is this acceptable! He managed to drive the car off premises but as he got closer to my apartment, literally 2 miles away, he had stopped because he couldn't change gears anymore. That's right, 2 MILES by 11 PM, my boyfriend and his car remain stuck on the side of the road, parallel parked at some street and praying that he doesn't get towed. I did not pay over $2k just to retrieve a car that's not operating properly. Did anyone even test drive it? You guys had the car from Wednesday till Friday. Called me at 9:30 AM stating it's ready, and I didn't even come till 2 PM to pick it up, giving you guys plenty of time to test drive/check for any errors/tighten any loose ends. The day that I was able to go to the dealership and get my things out of the car a man introduced himself as Deontye and claimed he was helping me get my car back.. it's now December 15 and that has not been the case. I'm obviously going to get a lawyer involved. Watch out. This entire thing was a whole scam. Im sure they are all in on it. Mondays are busy, so I called Ivan back mid-day, and he said it's better to come by Tuesday. Monday night we ended up buying G63 at Sewell - incredible experience. Tuesday morning at around 8am I ask for a buyer's order for the Macan, so I can get a cashier's check. Ivan texts me an hour later, "the finance manager is sick but we can still make the deal today". Of course he asked for a deposit over the phone, before I could test drive - odd. I agree to head over for a test drive within the hour. As I'm walking out, he texts me to say there's an oil leak, so I can't test drive until Thursday. On Thursday I see online the car was sold. He didn't even call to say, we have other cars if you're interested. Thursday night we bought a new Macan Plano, another great experience. I collect cars and this was by far the strangest experience I've ever had.
