We had an issue with our toilet and master shower backing up. Had 3 different plumbers out and they never actually fixed the problem. Called DFL and the next morning Joe came out and found the "root" of our issue. (Literally had a bunch of roots in my clean out) They were professional, on time, cleaned up after they were done. Fixed our ongoing issue from the last year. Price was right too! They showed me on camera how the line was clear all throughout the house. I highly recommend these guys for all your plumbing needs! read more

What a difference a yr makes! Following a good review for a good performance about a year ago, I have to warn potential customers about this outfit. Perhaps business is going great, the job I needed was too small, or the operator recalibrated his ethical standards to LOW. I called with a water heater problem. I needed the heater (that they installed) assessed for possible warranty work. I did not demand free work. I was able and willing to pay for an expert assessment and service. I made the phone call and got a "Let me take a look at my calendar and call you right back, boss." After a two-day wait, I called again and was sent to voice-mail. Requested a call back...crickets. What happened? If you don't have any intention to follow-up, then be honest and say so. Call me old-fashioned, but I believe in honor and the value of one's word. Your word carries no value. Trust and reputation are valuable assets to any business enterprise. I hope you regain it. In the meantime, dear reader, keep scrolling past this business! This is a solid WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

You can't go wrong with DFL plumbing as they are honest people, which apparently these days is a rare find. Instead of them making holes and breaking concrete guessing or trying to sell me a costly new pipe system he suggested CPL to find the exact leak location. Rubin was able to repair the leak. I have used this company many times. They treat women with respect and kindness. They dont try to over sell and rip you off. I would use them again and again. My family and friends use them as well and we have never had any issues. I waited until they could fit me in why? because I trust them. Thank you for your honesty and outstanding work. read more

We discovered a leak in our garage (right before a holiday weekend /: ugh!!) and DFL came recommended from a coworker. Ruben came out within a day to check it out. What seemed like an easy fix turned out to be a whole re-pipe of our home. As first time homeowners, my husband and I were totally overwhelmed with the thought of our house being ripped up within like a year of us buying it! Thankfully, Ruben, Joe and the guys at DFL were extremely helpful and walked us through exactly what they were seeing and what they were doing. Their quote and final price were reasonable - no surprise charges! They were very informative, responsive, and patient with all of our questions. Their work was AMAZING and even came with a multi-year warranty. They are local to the area and filled up with lots of jobs (which is a good sign in my book!). Despite being busy throughout the county, they are responsive to texts and calls and get back to you quickly. From start to finish, we were extremely pleased with DFL and I've already recommended them to a couple people in my family! read more

Joe and his team were amazing. Quick response time and very professional. Everything you would want to find in every service. Replaced our water heater, gave us a fair price and stuck to it. Also brought it up to code. This is the only number we will call for any future plumbing needs. read more

I just had Joe and Ruben leave my house. I never expected a slab leak in my house to be a positive experience. Ruben and Joe made it just that. I contacted Ruben about my house and he came out the same day and explained to me what needed to be done. He treated me like a human being and not a dollar sign. He explained to me exactly what was wrong and what he recommended me to do. He was not pushy but explained the cost vs reward of my choices so I could make an informed decision. Ruben and Joe arrived in the morning and had an entire main water line reroute in a matter of a few hours. They cleaned up and left my house repaired and ensured I was satisficed with the service. I highly recommend DFL and will be using them again. read more

DFL Plumbing replaced our emergency ball valve and rebuilt the inside of our guest toilet. They did excellent work at a fair price and worked quickly. We had received quotes from other more well-known companies that were 2-3 times as much and I was quite suspicious, especially when these other companies started finding a number of other things that "needed immediate repair." That is a known tactic to build urgency and get you to agree to more work at a higher price. I called a friend I trust for referrals and he recommended Ruben and Joe. They did a thorough "checkup" and focused on the two items I mentioned earlier. DFL Plumbing worked on a flat rate for both items that needed repair. We are very pleased with their work and highly recommend DFL Plumbing! read more

We had a terrible experience with DFL. If I could give them zero stars I would. Not only is their communication sub par but so is their work. We were told everything was good to go so we paid our handyman to put together the drywall. A few days later there was the same leak! We thought they would stand behind their work especially since we got heavily charged the 1st time, but they came back out, fixed the problem "again," charged us heavily again, and we were then expected to paint the drywall ourselves! We asked for a detailed copy of the invoices but never received either one. read more

My drainage pipe in the back yard was clogged. I called DFL to come take a look. They ended up snaking the 80+ feet of pipe for a few hours. They found a break in the pipe caused by palm tree roots. They dug that up, fixed the break and tried again. They ran into 20+ feet of palm tree roots. The recommended to use a high pressure nozzle. They came back the next day and worked at the clogg for a few hours. I was out there with them so I know first hand it was tuff going. I told them don't waste your time a few times. They wouldn't give up. Eventually they broke through and I think the crew was happier than I was. They know if they couldn't break through it would cost me thousands to break concrete and fix the entire length of pipe. Joe and his crew refused to quit and it paid off. No more flooding in the back! When they gave me the bill they only charged me the initial quote. I couldn't pay that and had to talk them into charging me more. Great company! If you need work done plesse call DFL. read more

This is by far the best experience I have ever had with a plumbing company. They can handle basic projects all the way to replumbing as they did for me. They were on time, priced fairly and very clean. I will never use another plumbing company! read more

Had work done a couple times from DFL Plumbing. Great crew, very professional, honest and efficient. Ruben, Joe and Jaime work like no other. Constantly working with 110% effort to get the job done in a timely matter. Very knowledgeable - you can tell these guys know what they're doing. We had them fix both gas leaks and plumbing leaks. Very affordable as we got bids from other local plumbers and they could not be beat. Always performing above and beyond expectations. Other issues were discovered while work was being completed, they made us aware and fixed it immediately - no problem. They even put a camera down our lines and made us aware of future possible issues. Highly recommended!!! read more

I was recently recommended to DFL plumbing by a coworker and these guys kick a##! I've had plumbing problems many times at my house which is old and have called other plumbers in the past where they charge a fortune just to unclog my main line through vent pipe on my roof. My house had no cleanout until DFL came to the rescue and recommended I get one installed. Well, the same day they came to unclog my bathtub they also got right to work at finding the source of my drain problems with their camera and as they predicted, they showed me on their camera that roots had entered the line where 2 pipes connect. So they got right to work digging where the clog was and the same day within few hours they were done and I had my cleanout. These guys are awesome! They were able to come to my house the same day I called them which before I had called 2 other plumbers and they couldn't come the same day. These guys are very dedicated and very knowledgeable at what they do. Ruben, Jaime and Joe definitely know their stuff! Complete professionals and experts! I've told all my family that DFL is my "go to" plumbing co. from now on and I recommend these guys to anyone. Oh and i almost forgot, they DIDN'T charge a fortune. read more

I called to get help for a clogged toilet. The lady who answered was rude, unhelpful, and won't answer any questions. I asked if they cleared toilets. Apparently they do but an operations manager would have to call me back. I hope their plumbing services are not as bad as customer service. I just needed a toilet un-clogged. I didn't realize that was a special request. read more

A measure of urgency preceded the visit by Ruben Cholico and his young helper. He'd rather amusingly indicated it was "our lucky day" given he had a post 10.00pm job at a McDonalds by Palomar and he'd squeeze us in prior to that. Two calls to other plumbers had gone unheeded! As unlikely as it seemed he appeared some time around 8.00pm and got to work on a blockage on a kitchen sink drain that as it turned out was some 35' past the sink and around and down two very poorly designed elbows in the plumbing. On the verge of giving up and talk of returning the next day with a smaller snake Ruben and his mate exerted considerable physical effort and dislodged the blockage that had been building for who knows how long. It was high fives and much merriment all around. I encourage them to go into the fracking business! Given the time of night the plumbing was conducted, the dire need of it, the two men, tools and truck involved, the invoice was well in line with reasonable. This household can easily speak very highly of Ruben and his company DFL Plumbing. Personable, professional, humorous and redefining the definition of hard working. Mark & Eliana. Aviara read more

Honesty, integrity, fair pricing is what you get with DFL Plumbing! I highly recommend this plumbing company. We had an emergency on a Sunday evening. Our entire laundry room was flooded with yucky toilet water. A DFL plumber came out quick on a Sunday evening. He patiently trouble-shot the issue and fixed it. He was so kind and so competent. Please give this great company your business! read more

My dishwasher went out the week before Thanksgiving. I work long hours and was worried that I wouldn't be able to get my new dishwasher installed in time. I called DFL Friday afternoon and the lady who answered was a sweetheart! She called Ruben who volunteered to meet me the following morning, which was a Saturday!!. He was just as nice! I totally trust these people and would highly recommend them to anyone. Words that come to mind: reliable, dependable, trustworthy and quality. Thank You DFL!! read more
