So happy! I was only in Ft Lauderdale a month so I joined DFit for their 20 small group fitness classes. It was exactly what I needed! The owner Danny really has a great gym/studio. I toured this gym/studio in the summer and spoke to the owner. I mentioned I was interested in the group training classes. I asked him if they accepted the Silver Sneakers program and he believed so, told me to send him my membership #. I emailed him and didn't hear back from him for days! I called him and said he hasn't heard from corp. I followed up with him and got no response. Today months later I sent a text to get a consultation. I called but no answer. I received a text minutes later asking what they can help me with. I told them I met with the owner Danny in the summer and was still interested in joining. Well I never heard back from them. I don't know why it took me so long to write this review, I thought I had before however I want to make sure I give Danny and his team the recognition they deserve. Danny is a kind, smart and motivational individual. He got me on a plan and matched me up with a trainer that fit my needs(goals) as well as my schedule. As I started I would receive messages from Danny encouraging me to keep going and he'd check in on my nutrition as well. He keeps his facility clean and well organized and has various types of equipment that really keeps your body guessing which helps you see the physical changes you don't see when doing the same routine day in and day out. If you are a beginner or if looking to compete they can help build your routine. I had been trying to find a personal trainer for quite some time as I had recently decided to get back into a workout routine only to discover that I was hurting myself more than anything and not making progress. After doing some research I came in for a consultation and met with Michael Lippman. He really took his time to sit with me, gave me a tour of the facility, introduced me to a few of the trainers and we discussed what my goals were. I never felt pressured about anything and felt very comfortable - a huge must for me. Due to some personal scheduling issues I left with only the information in hand but a few months later did come back. I left feeling that this is definitely somewhere I wanted to sign up for personal training so I did - everyone there made a good impression and I really felt this was the place for me. My trainer Casey Phipps is fantastic. He is very knowledgeable and extremely motivating. A trainer shouldn't only know the "how" but the "why". I've been a client of Sean at D-Fit since February of this year. In that time, he's not only developed a training regimen that is challenging and rewarding, but has created and outlined a custom diet/meal and supplement system. I've dropped about 4% body fat and have developed some amazing lean muscle. Danny and I have been working together for about six years.
