The downside to that was no one was there to answer our questions. We made another trip when we were ready to buy and when we signed in we were helped by Anne. What we saw on our first trip and decided on was all sold à la carte so to speak. Anne told us how all of it worked and what we needed to do what we wanted. I don't understand all the bad reviews saying they aren't sold all the parts they need. Everything we said we wanted we were told exactly what we need to make it work. So everything being sold seperate,it all came in seperate shipments. The first was the valve body for the shower, very heavy, very beefy. High end stuff here. Had a small issue with one part and left Anne a vm after hours. Within ten minutes I got an email saying a new piece was on the way. For the price of this setup I'd almost like to find something to complain about, but right now I just can't. They did not have on display what we needed to replace our current oven. The salesperson was helpful and pulled up online an oven that would have probably worked--to the tune of over $2300. Next was to have their person come to our house to pre-measure. They wanted me to pay the entire amount before the pre-measure was scheduled--which I refused since I wasn't going to pay for something if it wouldn't fit properly. Also, the oven I wanted was out-of-stock with Whirlpool and nobody had any idea of when one could expect delivery. If the measurements all worked out, I agreed to pay half upfront to get it ordered. Their associate showed up for the pre-measure on a Friday afternoon and after running some compilations, said he would have to get back with us that following Monday. We said that would be fine. That was the last I heard from anybody at Ferguson--neither from that guy or from the salesperson who originally emailed me a formal quote. Not even a courteous follow-up on the project. That's been over a week ago. I guess they don't need our business--I was wanting to buy local--but their customer service is terrible. I'm done with them and since I never heard back from them, went to NFM, spoke with the most knowledgeable salesman, found the perfect oven, and saved probably @ $800 in total. Delivery is already scheduled. The ratings on Yelp for this business were somewhat to be desired but I thought I'd give them the benefit of doubt. Now I know why and I'm adding my own one-star rating.

I usually see John and Jerry at the front desk but they have others that help. Very knowledgeable guys and they can look up something very quickly so long as u have the model number. They probably do a lot of business with professional repair people but you don't need to be a licensed repair person to buy here. They have a lot more than Sears parts and cheaper in the cases that I've checked. The facilities are big and very organized. Not that you can go through their isles like Walmart but it's organized, which tells you they run a tight operation. They have some retail things between the front door and the help desks. I bought a very useful duct cleaning attachment that I've had for 4-5yrs now. Good quality really. If u buy any appliance parts with uncertainty(if it's in fact the broken/failed issue), be absolutely sure before u open and install the part as they won't take returns on installed parts. Most places are that way with electrical and plumbing parts.

He ordered the replacement part and came back out a couple days after the part was delivered. He installed the part within a couple hours, probably closer to an hour. The cost for labor was very reasonable, and then the cost of the part completed the total amount billed. With this fix, the fridge/freezer should last another five years. I started to worry I needed to buy a new one when I couldn't find the replacement part online. I'm glad J & J was able to get the part and fix in a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable price.

Yeah, one of those. So about fifty suppressed swear words later, I'm on the phone with The Other Guy, and we're booked for a short window the next day. He jumped right in and dismantled the entire thing to clean it out, test out parts, and make sure he got it right. He showed me how the burner was glowing too hot, which means we'd just be replacing it again in a handful of months. We tested and tried different things on it, and he landed on an airflow issue (in addition to already fixing the broken part), and shortened our exhaust duct. He stuck around to make sure this fix was it and was going to take, and it's been humming ever since. I also found his pricing fair, and will go to him again (but good lord hopefully not for a while, we've had enough of these things this year). On last note -- just call him. I know. I want to send the message and hope it works out, but I think it's easier and more likely to happen if you just call on this one.
