Horrible service here at Dewey's. I didn't feel welcomed. Food was cold and drinks were watered down.

Before I came here, I was told that the chicken fingers are, "a must order" so I got them along with two orders of bone-in wings. One tossed in BBQ sauce and the other tossed in a sweet thai chili sauce. The bone-in wings come six to an order and is a mix of flats and drum sticks. These were tasty, had a good amount of meat on the bone and sauced nicely. The chicken fingers here are trying to do too much; stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon, coated in breadcrumbs, and then deep fried. Sounds great in theory, but the chicken gets lost in all of the extra strong flavors and all you really taste is cheese and a tiny bit of bacon. Also, be careful biting into them while still hot. The grease can shoot out of the back of the finger and spray your hand. This happened to me, but luckily the grease wasn't too hot and didn't burn my hand. The staff here is awesome and the drinks were delish. Minus my chicken finger issue, I liked this small "kind of" sports dive bar. I'll be back!

Hmmm, there's only about 5 other people in here and me and my husband are 2 of them and we're enjoying the mans energy, sitting 3 seats away and feeling no vibration. I confronted the bar tender saying, we are enjoying his energy sf don't feel any movent at the bad? So how can he be disturbing this _ side bar when we canrbeve feel it? These are moments when you have to note that bias exists. Sad. We rarely stop here and today decided, let's give it a shot, it's close and convenient. But when you see people being treated that way, its a no return.

The reason I rated this a lot lower is because of the food. Entirely way too overpriced for what it is. We ordered a lot of stuff: Nashville crispy chicken sandwich, bacon mac & cheese, mozz sticks, tie tip chili cheese fries, onion rings, and a regular Italian pizza. The mac and cheese was not great. The cheese felt grainy for a whopping $18. The mozz sticks, onion rings were $12 each and they were mediocre. For that price, I would have at least expected more than just 5 pieces. Also no cheese pull at all with them. The tri tip chillie cheese fries hardly had any tri tip in it. Not worth $13.50 because it was literally just ground beef. The Italian pizza was okay, but not worth $18.25 for the size. My husband said the sauce didn't have much flavor and the only good thing about it was the Italian sausage topping. We came here because we have passed by it a lot and had been meaning to give it a try. Everyone always looked like they were having a great time coming out of there and it look loud and night-club like. Well, we tried it and now know what it is. Sadly, won't be returning. But I did want to reiterate that the lovely people who worked there are the only awesome thing about that place!

Dog House Grill has the BEST tri-tip sandwiches ever! Trust me, I have tried others and nothing compares. Upon arrival, parking is always full. If you have some time to wait, it will start to clear slowly. Entrance always has a long line to order food. Another way to order is inside where you find a table by the bar area and be served by a waiter/waitress. The ambiance is sports related so you'll see big screen TVs everywhere with all kind of sports playing and sports decor on the walls. Seating can be a bit of a wait since it's always busy so you kinda have to stand around and wait for tables to clear out or you might even get lucky and find one right away. Ordering is easy, big screens for menus upon entering and cashiers waiting to take your order. Once you order your food, it's a bit of a wait until they call your number. Our order today was 2 tri tip sandwiches and a side of fries. Totaling out $40. - Tri-tip sandwiches are $17 each. Worth it every single time. 1000/10 - Side of fries is actually a pretty large order. Seasoned a bit and for the size and taste 8/10 All in all, a great place to eat. I crave this often and it's located near the Savemart Center/Fresno State area which you can't miss. You can even smell it from a close distance. But in all seriousness, go try it. You won't regret it.

Steak bites were under appetizers but could have been an entree tbh. Tasty. Pizza was classic, I do wish it was a bit more toasted on top but the bottom was nice and crispy. Super cheesy, nice cheese pull. The drinks were good. My friend had her first espresso martini, she said it was really good. They only had one waitress working the floor but she was great. Even though they were just, she was attentive. The owner(I think) very nice, joked with us a bit, gave us recommendations. Very rarely do you see other places where the owner walks around checking on tables. Gave me small town hospitality vibes. I like that. I do have to admit, it's super loud in there. The music, the crowds, they also were having trivia night. But you can't really complain about it because it's a sports bar--what do you really expect? There was a lot going on, but me and my friend had a great time. Next time we'll join in on the festivities.

I ordered the asada nachos and was surprised by the $8 upcharge for the meat. The portion was extremely small--honestly, an Oscar Mayer hot dog contains more beef. The nachos themselves were decent, but far from memorable, especially considering the nearly $25 price tag. I also tried a couple of drinks. The pineapple upside-down cocktail was enjoyable, though definitely on the sweeter side, and I couldn't really taste any alcohol in it. Since the Bloody Mary was voted Best in Fresno, I had to give it a try. It wasn't bad, but it was pretty average and didn't stand out from countless others I've had. The real highlight of this place is the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. If you're looking for a sports bar atmosphere with plenty of games on TV, you'll probably enjoy it. If you're primarily looking for exceptional food, there are better options in town.
