Every single evening, he can be found parked at the bar, working his way through a bottle of wine, getting visibly intoxicated, and treating everyone around him with utter disrespect. He is blatantly rude to customers and staff alike, bringing a toxic, uncomfortable energy to the entire room. Walking through the front door and seeing him sitting at the bar instantly sours the mood and makes you want to turn around and walk right back out. It is heartbreaking to see such a great staff and a cool local spot get weighed down by someone who has zero respect for his own business or the people supporting it. Go for the food and support the incredible workers if you must, but be prepared for a deeply uncomfortable atmosphere the second the owner opens his mouth.

Both were good... the burger though was something to come back for. They also have a good happy hour. The drinks coming from the bar looked really good. I decided to try the wild child. It did not disappoint with fresh watermelon and mint and a salty spicy rim. We just couldn't leave without trying a dessert. The bourbon barrel cake was really good. Warm cake soaked with bourbon caramel, topped with candied pecans and served with vanilla ice cream. We had a really good first time experience. Diego our server was super friendly and welcoming. We were promptly seated on the patio, but after 15-20 minutes we left without ever being served. Not one staff member acknowledged us. We still had all our menus on the table, no water, and even had a highchair brought to our table after we asked our server to bring it to us when we were seated--so it was obvious we were there and had not been helped. What made it worse was that the tables around us were seated after us and received water, drinks, and even an appetizer from the same server, while we were completely ignored. When I spoke to the manager on the way out, instead taking ownership, her first response was an apology followed by, "The host must not have told the server." That may explain it, but it doesn't excuse it. The manager had a great opportunity to own the mistake and try to make things right. Instead, she offered an excuse. Very disappointing experience.
