Taco pizza freaking yum.

I love Dewey's I mean who doesn't enjoy ver well made tasty pizza with some of the best toppings. My favorite is the Edgar Allen Poe. As always service is wonderful and the food is amazing. I highly recommend them and will be back.

Calzone

A friend and I went here for dinner on Wednesday. We were seated right away, the staff was very attentive the entire time we were there. We split a Cesar salad, she ordered a killer veggie, I ordered a calzone. This was the first time I tried their calzone, the filling to dough ratio was great! Lots of cheese, it contains mozzarella and ricotta, it had a great pull! This is also a fairly substantial portion, so I only ate half.

gf - 3.5 I usually go at night and it seems more of a vibe, there was like 3 workers around lunch, food was just pretty good but lowkey dirty. Wine was good as always, glass was dirty tho. My day job usually gets Dewey's once a month and the pizza is always good. Never sat down before so me and my gf checked it out for a lunch date. Inside architecture sucks, giant wall walking in cuts off half the restaurant making it feel small, tiles and chairs looked like a refurbished chuckie cheese, looks like there was no kitchen staff, not sure why there is a giant freezer in the middle of the dining room, colors are bland, and to be honest the vibe was too. It was seat yourself, 5 different tables inside, took a couple mins to be greeted. Got 2 waters, menu options were pizza and salads. My gf wanted just cheese, i like a little more flavor, got the green Lantern, split the pizza in half tho cause it's expensive. 17 is cheapest pizza, 8 slices, 2.50 for a topping added. Gf got wine, I had a sip it was good. Prob the most flavorful part of lunch. Waiter was attentive, guess he was the bartender too, there was another server and one lady in just normal clothes, guessing the manager? Pizza came out quick, flavor was alright. A lot thinner than I remember, size was decent tho. The cheese was better than the one I got honestly. Luckily the pizza half and half was 14 something since we didn't get a full signature one. All in all, you can find better and cheaper pizza around town, better service and better atmosphere. Plates and glasses need to be cleaned, floor needs swepted, dining room needs remodeling, staff needs new uniforms and manager aswell. Focus on pizza and quality staff and ingredients. Prob will stick with free pizza from my work once a month.

Came in for a quick lunch with my family. Had to take the daughter for a check up and she wanted pizza! Noticed it was next to ice cream so I was ready! The service was great and it wasn't crowded. I had not had it in at least 10 years. Let me tell you; it was better than I remembered. My daughter never eats crust. She ate the crust. That's how good it was. The salad was big for the small(glad I didn't get the big one!). Parking is kind of sketchy but I'm rating this on food and service. Great beer selection and very intimate. Highly highly recommend! Cheers!!

Usually land here when visiting Cincy on a day trip. It is fantastic pizza that is consistently so. I had the Edgar Allen Poe and a house salad paired with a beer (a Dunkel by High Grain that was happier and less malty than I expected). The Poe is a white pizza with an olive oil base, mozzarella, and fontina, roasted garlic, olives, and goat cheese. Tomato slices are part of the recipe as well, but I think the pizza works better without. This pizza is made with a really thin crust. Not sure if there is an equivalent to it in Louisville.

Dewey's Pizza has some good pizza! We hadn't had it in awhile but decided to have a Friday night family pizza night here. It was packed and we had to wait about 45 min-1 hr. While we waited, we did enjoy wine at the bar and good family laughs. They also had the Yelp waitlist available. I would definitely encourage putting your name on the list if you plan to come on a Friday night like we did. I forgot to check for the name waitlist and we had a long wait. However, the service is very good and the food comes out pretty quick. When we were finally seated we started our night off with side salads. My mom and I had the house salad. It consisted of field greens, toasted pine nuts, dried cranberries, goat cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette. It was very tasty and a good combination of tart (from the dressing) and sweet from the cranberries. I love this salad. While here I came with my husband, 2 kids, my mother and grandmother. My mom is a health freak so she made a healthy concoction with Gluten Free crust and no cheese. My grandma, husband and I all shared a large Bronx Bomber and added pineapple and jalapeños. We ordered my daughter a cheese pizza. Everybody enjoyed their pizza and thought it was good. No one had any complaints. Overall, Dewey's is a good pizza joint.

Candied Walnut and Grape salad and Italian Salad

Had lunch here. Pro's: fantastic service; The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Awesome food: the salads were fresh and the dressings flavorful. Then there was the pizza. It was exceptional for a gourmet type, we had the backyard bbq pizza. The prices are reasonable. Cons: Not within walking distance of my residence. (;

Inflation has apparently affected pizza topping portions?
Alex M.

"Dewey's... where you pay extra for less!" I guess the 7.5% inflation is causing a reduction on pizza toppings.

Please come to this restaurant if you are in the Cincinnati area!…read more First, I wish to state that I am not from Ohio and that this is my first time eating at Two Cities, but this restaurant might be my favorite pizza shop going forward. Second, I only had two of the items on the menu but so many of the other options on the menu looked amazing as well. This Two Cities was built inside the old city hall of Mason, with Mason being a cozy little town in of itself. The restaurant smells amazing upon entering, course it would because they cook their food fresh. It's even got a little ramp that leads down to the main seating area for mobility impaired persons. My first minor issue with this Two Cities was that the booth I was sitting at was slightly raised by a literal step, which nearly made me trip while exiting the booth because I hardly noticed getting into the booth due to my height (6'3 at the time of writing review). There are other booths though that are not raised, so an opinion is to be based of where you are seated. My waitress was really kind and offered a helpful opinion when I was deciding on which pizza to get after being seated by a host. The waitress also allowed me to put in my order all at once (drink, appetizer, and entree). The appetizer (garlic parmesan fries) arrived fast and were undoubtedly scrumptious; the fries were a near perfect mix of crunchy and soft with the shredded parmesan and minced garlic adding extra flavor. Their ranch is also superb. I got the 13" Rhythm Road Pizza (which I shared with someone. I could not eat half of a deep dish pizza alone) and it was something else. Most importantly, it had MASHED POTATO on it instead of a traditional pizza sauce and notably, chipotle aioli drizzled on top (there are more toppings, of course, but they're more normal toppings). Unfortunately, the pizza slices were unevenly sliced, leading to inconsistent slice size and the toppings slide off the pizza easily when scooped up with the provided pizza spatula, all minot grievances of course. The only true complaint I had with this Two Cities was that my waitress did not actively seek out to refill my glass when it was empty. I will say that my drink was not close to the edge for her to see, but it was within view from any view of the table. There were a relatively high number of customers in the restaurant for the time I was there (about an hour before closing), so I don't hold it against her for not noticing. The cups were average size, so I wasn't exactly dying of thirst while dining. The music inside was of good taste and was at a very respectable volume. The other patrons were also well mannered and I had no need to raise my voice to speak to my dining buddy. The final thing I wish to add to this review is how nice the bathroom was. They were very clean, had two urinals (short and tall), one wheelchair accessible stall, nice smelling soap, a simple water control handle, a foot doorhandle, and MOUTHWASH. This is only public building I have ever been in that has offered complementary mouthwash, let alone a bathroom. This could be an Ohio or Midwest exclusive thing, but I enjoyed using the mouthwash nonetheless.

Main Street, Mason, Ohio Day two of the great Ohio Collegiate travel expedition, and the Mrs. found a new pizza joint to try. We fired up the GPS and headed south to Mason, Ohio. Now, when I think of Mason, I usually think of big fancy houses, snooty HOAs, and Kings Island. But driving in? It totally gave me Washington C.H. vibes. Nice ranch-style homes, some with the neighbor's car chilling on blocks in the yard. Honestly? It was refreshing. Looks like they have all classes of people coexisting. It was comfortable, zero pretentiousness, and normal. Passed the vibe check, no cap. Let's talk about Two Cities Pizza Co. The concept is genius: Two friends wanted to spark the great pizza debate (New York Style vs. Chicago Deep Dish) under one roof. Why fight when you can just eat both? A true bipartisan solution this country desperately needs. The Vibe: They took over the Historic City Hall building downtown and it's incredible. Tons of character. They have plenty of outdoor seating--you know, for the psychopaths who enjoy eating outside during the 7 minutes in Ohio when it's not 100 degrees with 200% humidity or 32 below zero. But hey, if sweating in your pepperoni is your thing, it's there. Inside, the decor is on point, with air conditioning. They've got a wall that looks like the Wrigley Field ivy, subway-themed restrooms complete with the overhead transit handles (DO NOT TOUCH THE HANDLES ), and even fake pigeons up in the rafters. It's definitely giving main character energy. Great tunes playing too--Billy Joel, Chicago. Huge booths. Friendly staff. Shout out to Ivy. The Menu & The Grub: Cold beer and pizza. Name a better duo. I'll wait. They have everything: wings, calzones, and NY specialty pizzas with... mashed potatoes? Wait, what? They also offer cauliflower crust and non-dairy cheese for our friends who can't handle lactose. Here's what we shoveled down: Bootleg Bread: Basic cheesy bread but baked with garlic and herbs. The crust was great, and the cheese was thick and substantial. Very good! Perfect seasoning. NY Style Pepperoni: Delicious, exactly what you expect. A reliable classic. #Boring Bull and Bear Calzone: Stuffed with pepperoni, bacon, mozzarella, parm, and garlic. The crust was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Spot on. BUT here's the controversy... It came with their self-proclaimed "Famous Ranch Dressing." Look, I know people will fight literal wars over ranch in the Midwest, but I wasn't a fan. It had a strong Worcestershire vibe to it. A little too aggressive for my taste. Good for some, not for me. (The chunky "red sauce" was absolutely awesome, though!) The Plot Twist: A very nice surprise--they brought us a totally FREE order of New York Funnel Cake Donuts. Didn't ask, didn't pay. Maybe because it was our first visit? Or maybe they just respect the bald head. Either way, fried, tossed in cinnamon and powdered sugar, they tasted exactly like the county fair. Absolutely bussin'. Ask for them by name! The BaldWhiteGuy Rating: ‍‍‍‍: 4 out of 5 Bald Heads. Lost one head because I was severely disappointed in the "Famous Ranch". But heck if you like it, you can purchase a bottle. I will be making another trip to try out the Chicago Style Pizza. If you're near Kings Island, it's worth a stop. Great prices, great food. Tell them the Bald Guy sent you! The table heights and the relationship to the chair heights are all very strange/uncomfortable. I believe the lower round tables are adjustable, so it could be fixed on those but there is no place to sit other than the bar thats not oddly uncomfortable. 2. The process to get food and drinks is a bit back and forth. Mostly the drinks. You have to get your fountain soda from the bar, but the fountain machine is over by where you order pizza. Would make a lot more sense if the bar just sold alcohol, and the pizza place sold the fountain glasses. 3. A little short on beer selection for such a big place but what was there is good so not sure if this is a complaint or observation. It's probably just that the bar is so huge and the tap wall is just not matching the vibe. 4. My pizza was on the borderline of undercooked. I would just gather up all the pizza cooks and implement a new rule. Check the bottom of the pie. If it's as blonde as Pamela Anderson on Baywatch, stick it back in. I will be back, it's better than some places i have been, just needs a few tweaks.
