We rented a Gyroscope from Amazing Amusements Online for a company event, and unfortunately, our…read moreexperience was disappointing. The communication from the team was poor right from day one, taking days to answer any of my emails. This went on for two months before our event. On the day of the event, I called several times to get an estimated arrival time, and I was repeatedly told that the delivery team was "just around the corner." This went on for nearly an hour and a half, leaving us unable to properly prepare. The team was supposed to arrive 1-1.5 hours before our event, which started at 1:30 pm. However, they didn't arrive until 1:20 pm, and the Gyrotron wasn't ready for use until 2:30 pm--an hour into the event. This delay significantly impacted our schedule and the overall experience for our guests. When I requested a refund for the hour that was lost they told me they did not have a refund policy but they would give me a discount on our next event. Clearly we will not be hiring them for any future events and I strongly recommend that you do not use this company for any of your events. You will be extremely disappointed.

Our sons Bar Mitzvah Party was coming up.. and we really wanted to make it a really special event for him, and of course for our family, and friends... we heard many great reviews about Amazing Amusements, and decided to have them plan our event. I can't begin to tell you how happy I was that we hired them. The whole event went so smoothly - starting from the planning stage (venues, decor, entertainment).. until the very last of the guests departure. Amazing Amusements is professional, organized, efficient, and smoooooooth.... I highly recommend them for any event, big or small, and only wish more people could make things as easy and enjoyable during stressful times (yes! making a bar mitzvah can be stressful!-- don't try to pull it off by yourself!). Thanks again!!! My guests (and son!) are still telling us what a great time they had.

If…read moreyou don't know where to do it, it's a good thing you're reading this review, because you should be going to Runnin' Wild. We've been coming in here since they used to do kids haircuts a few years ago, and even though that's not a thing any more, they've still got all the things. They've got shoes (boots for the season!), clothes, toys, scooters, games, balls, stuffies...all the things you want to give your kids for the holidays. Yeah, I get it. You may be able to get some of that stuff for a couple dollars cheaper on the internets (or you may not), and then you get to make a billionaire more billions. But you live in Brooklyn because you like it here. You like it here because of the amazing local businesses around. So buy your stuff here. This is a family shop, run by the nicest people, and if you want these things to stay, you need to keep your money local. Last time in, they asked my wife to come back and pick up the scooter for my daughter later on, because their best gift-wrapper wasn't there at the moment. They wanted us to have our gift wrapped right, and I appreciate that. We'll be back, over and over again.
