I bought a gel pen for nine dollars that I later saw online on Amazon for three dollars. Other than that, it's a cute shop! I did need a pen for that afternoon though, so it worked out. The employee was nice and helpful. read more

Yours Truly, Brooklyn - Cards & Stationery Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Yours Truly is a cute, quaint, well-organized and well-stocked stationary store in Brooklyn. While on a trip to New York I popped in looking for some New York-based gift ideas for my sister. The woman behind the counter was very helpful in trying to assist me with finding something, and she even suggested some other stationary stores in the area too. I could tell she really cared about my shopping experience, and she was very knowledgeable. Well, despite her recommendations, I returned to Yours Truly days later and purchased some things from there. It just had more of what I was looking for, and I was more than happy to give the woman the business. Overall, it's a great stationary store to check out whilst in Brooklyn! read more

Yours Truly, Brooklyn - Inside - Cards & Stationery Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Cute, odd little shop. I guess I read it as more of a gift shop, whereas it is much more a stationery store with greeting cards and some gift-ish or gift-adjacent ephemera. Their heaviest area of product seems to be greeting cards and wrapping paper along with pens, paper, post-its and other desk-type stationery. Staff is kind and product quality seems fine, although you will pay for that quality--that quirky card or small swatch of bespoke wrapping paper will be in the $7-10 range. Felt like the kind of shop I would normally adore, but I keep stopping in and leaving with nothing. It is incredibly niche for people interested in special or unique or bespoke products--and I do love them for that, it feels like the Brooklyn way, and I love that we have these bespoke shops for some people. This one is just a smidge too fancy and impractical and pricey for me. read more

OMG, Yours Truly, Brooklyn, is the epitome of the type of stationery stores that I like! This independently-owned store is in the heart of the Fort Greene 'hood, and they have a curated selection of greeting cards, papers, pens, pencils, writing accessories, gift items, and various accessories you didn't know you needed in your life! I LOVED cute and funny washi tapes, fun iron-on patches, stickers, and bookmarks - their greeting card section was fun to peruse through as well! The staff member on site was super friendly and welcoming and allows you to just soak in everything to your heart's content. If you're unable to stop by, you can also order online as well! Can't find what you're looking for? Ask them - they're so helpful! I can't wait to visit again to see what other new things they have added! +awesome stationery store +great gift items +friendly staff! read more

I ADORE Yours Truly, Brooklyn as a first time visitor to the store. The cute stationary store is tucked away next to an independent bookstore, Greenlight, off of Fulton near the Lafayette metro station. There isn't any A/C, but the lights are dim, and the staff is incredibly friendly. A Lleuchtturm1917 journal fan myself, I had searched the area for a local store that would be a joy to look around in addition to finding this particular item. This establishment didn't disappoint, and I loved looking around at the various tchotchkes galore, including various cards, beautiful wrapping paper, and assorted Japanese stickers. There's also a glorious wall of pens you can test before purchase in the back. We had a wonderful conversation with the store clerk about dining in the area after our purchase. Honestly, she was such a gem of a human being. This is the side of New York that people love. Highly recommend to all my penmanship, bujo people out there. read more

This is an excellent stationery shop. I went in looking for airmail paper and was not disappointed: they had some very nice Japanese paper at a very reasonable price. But what does it mean that eight out of the twelve reviews here that attempt to spell "stationery" have failed in that attempt? read more

I think this might be my new favorite spot for stationery. There is so much variety packed into one small space! Lots of cards, stickers, stationery, and other fun products stocked here. The employees are all very friendly and nice. I got a bunch of fun things. While there are some pricey items there is a lot of variety for cheaper gifts and treats. Highly recommend! read more

This place is delicious -- for people who love paper and stationary!! I was so happy to discover it and swing by for cards, pens, and whatever catches my eye. They have a nice variety of notebooks, gifts, fountain pens + ink, all sorts of pens!! The selection is always good and I usually walk out with something that makes me happy. Staff is friendly and welcoming. read more

I was beyond impressed with both the quality of products! Support them now during COVID-19! read more

Yours Truly, Brooklyn - Wall of Stationary and More!! - Cards & Stationery Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

From coffee shop to ice cream parlor to stationary store...this little hole in the wall has seen it all! Its many transformations haven't taken away from its charm, and I think its current form is a keeper. Yours Truly is a cute, little stationary shop full of notebooks, journals, planners, pens, pencils, cards, and gift wrap. The selection is decent despite the size. A great one-stop-shop for a last minute gift - you can never go wrong with a journal! Or gelly roll pens. Who knew those still existed! I was a little disappointed not to find any moleskins here, but Greenlight next door sells them. Word on the street is that they're under the same ownership, so supporting one is supporting both! read more

I was here a month ago, but felt compelled to write this review now since I remembered I needed to get a greeting card from here. The staff is so lovely and friendly and the goods here are top notch (I went in just meaning to look, left with fantastic pastel purple highlighter and brown ink pen!). Variety of stationary goods, cards, all the fancy and non fancy pens and markers and calligraphic stuff one would ever desire. Definitely coming back! read more

It is so cute and everyone who works here is super nice. So glad I stopped by and picked up lots of creative goodies!

It's nice having a paperie/stationary store next to a bookstore (Greenlight Books) and I understand the stores are owned by the same people. The selection of nicer items like leather folios and notebooks is good and there's a variety of desk items such as unique paper clips and organizers to enhance your office. But, I do find it quite pricey and lacking "everyday" items at more economical prices. This is definitely more of a gift shop/specialty shop as opposed to a place to pop in for everyday items. And, I do find the staff to be not incredibly friendly. That's really why I gave this review a three and not a four. I've gone in to this shop at least a half a dozen times to get gifts and have never found the same warmth and friendliness that I get at Greenlight. Still, I do want this local shop to stick around and I support it because I enjoy Greenlight. read more

Huge selection of stationary, cards, gift items, and supplies for anyone who enjoys writing.

I'm in LOVE with this store. They sell really great structured notebooks, fantastic pens and paper goods, and the cutest office supplies. I've been using the Poketo Concept Planner and will NEVER go back to moleskine. This store has changed my organization game. Elise is my favorite sales associate, really knowledgeable and works on the weekends only. Cute as hell, and I'd much rather support a small business than another Papyrus or Paper Source. read more

A hidden gem! I just moved to the neighborhood and was in need of letter writing supplies. I trotted right over and was impressed with their wide selection of quality goods. The woman running the store was also so lovely and recommended to me some great pens & did nto hesitate to answer any & all questions. I will be making this my new stop for stationery, birthday cards and gifts, and other knick knacks! read more
