This place is a chop shop. Each time I vist I see someone different who knows little about me. I can't see how this translates to proper care. They have messed up adjustments too often where it causes immense pain and messed up teeth where I must book additional time off and return early to get it fixed. Two months ago they screwed up a tooth and pushed it way back... I was in excruciating pain and they couldn't get me in for over two weeks to fix it. Now my top front teeth went crooked and I can't get in to have it fixed until next week. I'd shop for an orthodontist carefully and not go somewhere that is careless and may cause TMJ and other issues with your jaw.

They have a section where kids can play games and you check in by logging into their system at a kiosk. You are welcome to go into the back area where your child is whenever you are there to check and see how things are going or just hold the hand of an uneasy first-timer. Prior to getting my braces on in my teens, I had to get 8 baby teeth removed that hadn't come out on their own. I also had to get an expander, as my jaw was too small for my teeth that were severely crowded. Dr. Brian Nebbe was my orthodontist at Align in Sherwood Park. He started me with the expander, and did my braces as well. I had my braces for 3 years, and was given a retainer, as well as a rubber mouth guard looking thing that was meant to help with my overbite. I have several friends from high school that had their braces at the same time as me, and I can say I am the only one that still has straight teeth today (and no, I didn't wear my retainer as long as I was supposed to). Dr. Brian Nebbe was always very nice, very gentle, and obviously did a really great job on my teeth! I highly recommend using Align Orthodontics.

From the beginning of walking in the front door, the front end ladies were very good at listening to my concerns and putting me at ease. They have a front end water feature that is very soothing. The dental assistant that brought me to the chair. was fantastic ... making me feel very at ease. The Dr. has been doing this for a number of years and was very attentive to my concerns. I felt nothing after the freezing needle (a minor poke). I need some major work that will require a lot of visits. I actually look forward to going back (never thought I would say that).
