I've been to this place three times now. Their service is always very friendly and their desserts are spot on. This past time I ordered the lunch special with a chicken parm sandwich, curry chicken soup and a side of their kale salad. Total came to 18 with tip. I waited for 35 minutes for this to go order and only got it when I went up to the counter to inquire. I quickly walked to my car and checked out my purchase... the sandwich was lukewarm and no longer crispy at all, the soup was lukewarm (wonder when that was put in the go box?), and the salad was fine but nothing special. I paid for a good lunch and did not get one. I thought many servers saw me sitting there with my number, two people asked me if I was being helped in the first 15 minutes of sitting. It was clear to me the food I was given had been sitting there for quite awhile. There's a lot of people working but I'm not sure anyone is really paying attention. I won't be back. read more

Absolutely amazing! I went for breakfast and had their 2 eggs, Italian sausage and peppers turned into an omelet. My favorite part of the meal was their fried potatoes. Out of this world delicious. The had a perfect coat of Kosher salt that enhanced the crispy texture. They made everything fresh and another perk going for breakfast...smelling the homemade baked cakes and cookies!!! This place gets busy fast so get there early. I suggest you look at the menu online and have an idea of what you want as you dont sit and order. You stand in line and when you get to the register you order, pay and then sit and wait for the food. No biggie as it is absolutely worth every moment and penney. Very good food and its all scratch made. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is nice. Not too exspensive and the food is breakfast with a little flair. If you like the basic no frills eggs and bacon you might be challenged to enjoy this place as much as someone who likes chicken and waffles or Sausage, peppers and eggs. The homemade desserts are definitely worth taking one home for a nice dessert later that night. You'll see when you get to the counter. Ate here again for the third time this month. This is becoming our regular date-night location. The thing that stuck out to me this time (aside from the amazing food) was that the owner held the water glasses up to the light to check for cleanliness. Are there yesterday for breakfast. It was amazing. The pancake was one ob the best. The only problem i has was the lack if service. Those that frequent the place knows that you stand at the counter and order your food. You then sit down. Thats when the service stops. When you pay, they have a tip suggestion that goes all the way to 25%. I gave 20 but with the expectation that someone would bring a coffee refill. I had to go back to the counter to ask for more syrup. They said ok but never brought it to the table. I had to go back to the counter to point at it on the delivery counter and then they gave it to me. I will visit again but the service tip will reflect the level if service that they provide. Yelp lead us to this wonderful place for lunch. Regretfully we don't live in this area or it would become our new go to location because we wanted to try everything on the menu. I got chicken salad sandwich on the best grilled bread that melted in my mouth. My husband got the Navaho Sandwich (special of the day) made with fried pizza dough. Man size and delicious, he said. We both got the French fries which had a coating that made them extra crispy & tasty. Service was great & everyone was so friendly. We got desert to go because there was no room at the inn, we were so full but we could not resist the homemade delights. Hope we to get on this side of town again. We came for breakfast on a Saturday morning, and got there at the right time, because it immediately got super busy. I got the stack of pancakes, which came out hot, fresh, fluffy, moist, and HUGE. I'd like to start by saying I am giving this place a second chance this morning for breakfast. I was here about 2 months ago. Second time around and I'm still not sold. Here are my observations. First of all, the prices are a bit higher than other breakfast places south of the restaurant but maybe on par as you go closer to Keller/Southlake proper. I had the biscuits and gravy my first go around. Honestly? Bland bland bland, no seasoning what's so ever. Biscuits were fine. It was the gravy. Today, I'm having pumpkin pancakes as I write this and I barely finished the one of three cakes. Way too heavy and dense. Flavor was fine. Bacon good and crisp. Now, let's talk about the business model which I dislike very much. Again for the price of the food I guess I'm paying for the staff that really doesn't serve a purpose other than bringing your food. I was made to order counter style, carry my three drinks to the table myself, then go get my silverware and napkins. Not sure why the owners thought this was a good Service Play. Not a fan. I watch them stay mostly in the back with the other employees, laughing, singing and having a grand ole time. They will occasionally walk around and see if folks need anything (by the way, I've been sitting here for 20 min and no one asked me). Many plates coming back to kitchen for not being cooked thoroughly or wrong order. I want to like this place. I heard the lunch and "Dinners" are to die for. I will try and let you know. My family and I love this place. The food is amazing; my favorite is the tuna sandwich which is served on firm, buttery crisp bread and comes with deliciously seasoned fries (No boring fries here-I love when even the classic sides are savory). The restaurant itself has a very classy look and feel from the elegant white linen tablecloths and temptingly displayed gourmet cakes and sweets- but this is no stuffy place- our son loves coming here just to draw on the giant "canvases" they provide. First time here. Came because of the ratings and to try something new. Family of 4. I wasn't starving so I ordered the grilled fish tacoS. Three tacos nice sized but the sour cream dressing was a miss for me and lacked flavor overall. Was merely fish and cabbage lots of cabbage! I blame myself as I felt their menu really catered towards more Italian food so this was probably my own fault. My husband got the chicken Parmesan. It was a nice sized portion. He said it was ok not what he was expecting. The spaghetti he felt was bland as well and he wished the sauce had meat. My daughter got the kids spaghetti and eat it up! My son got the chicken finger kids meal... he didn't complain so I guess he enjoyed it. The desserts looked good. Overall I don't know that I will go back unless it was to try there breakfast because the menu made me hungry :) The staff was very nice. I didn't care for the fact they you ordered then set down. Portions are perfect for a beast like myself and the taste is superb. Try leaving without trying one of the homemade desserts (I Double dare you) I have tried most of the menu and I love everything from the simple fresh beef burger with butter toasted bread to the Steak medallions with mushroom sauce. My family raves about the Fettuccine alfredo. Go by yourself or take a friend but you need to treat yourself to fresh food made to order by Awesome chefs. I love this little quaint hole in the wall Italian spot. One of the many reasons is because they serve breakfast and a great one at that! You really can not go wrong on any breakfast choice!! The biscuits and gravy are to die for!! Also the Italian Benedict!!! Homemade cinnimon rolls! Yum! I have dined in for lunch and dinner and both great options and delicious! Dont let the quick bite fool you. This unique spot has a great tasting Breakfast Monte Cristo. I've always thought them to be too sweet in general, but this one was perfect. The spicy italian sausage is a must have and their basil orange juice was a first for me, but otherwise tasted very good! Portions are big, so come hungry! read more

My husband and I eat out several times a week and our goal is to try somewhere new at least once per week. Have seen the sign for DeVivo many times and commented we needed to try it and today we did. The quality of the food was great. Fresh, made from scratch items. I had the chicken salad sandwich and soup, which was enough for two. Husband had the breakfast and he rates breakfast based on the biscuits. He gave them a 5 star. One of the few places left that actually make them from scratch. In addition to the great food, the service was excellent. We will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu. read more

Amazing comfort food and delicious desserts. While eating there I saw many people come in to order dessert for take out. All homemade! Cakes and Banana Pudding and much much more. I love this place! The food is fantastic. I personally am in love with their brunch. Their juice is fresh and tastey, perfect for brunch or a post-church Sunday meal. Some of my favorites are the Italian Benedict, steak and eggs, and the chicken & waffles. It's also a fantastic place to get dessert. The baked goods at Devivo's are mouth watering, displayed in adorable cases to tempt you the moment you walk in. The Oreo pudding is a personal favorite! The service is fast and very friendly. Comfort food with lots of healthy options. Stella with side salad is a great option for lunch, and the pesto pasta is very tasty - i couldn't tell if it was mayo or cream mixed with the pesto, but it was pretty good! However, the pasta itself wasn't completely done.. Its texture was wasn't consistent: mushy on the outside, but a bit too firm on the inside. I like this establishment because both indoor and outdoor (covered) seating were available, but not much in the way of decor. read more

The chicken crispy and moist. I'd have it again! Took the brookie (cookie on top brownie on the bottom with Oreos and caramel in the middle) home for a sweet snack. That's was bangin!
