A pediatrician you can reach for any of your concerns. Not having to go through holds or call center or agree to pay a fee just to get through to doctors answering service for them not to even call you back. She's a doctor who will be there, she seems to truly care about her chosen profession. There's never much wait in her office, because she books patients apart so they all have the time they need. After each appointment we also receive a detail email about the visit and what to watch out for. She is incredibly knowledgeable, and constantly keeping up with most current treatments and solutions. I remember asking about different kind of flu shot at our former pediatric office, because my son's arm get really painful and swollen each time, but no other option was ever available. We walked in her office, told her his problem, she gave him a nasal spray vaccine, took 2 seconds, done. No reaction what so ever. She also really tries to help cut our cost, whenever she can, by offering information about any applicable reduced/free RX. I do feel an additional sense of security when I know dr Verma is my Children's doctor, she cares and makes time to see you kids when they are in need. Highly recommended.

Dr Gabriel may have long wait times, but 1) it's because he truly cares about every patient. We talk about more than just the regular "health" stuff- he considers and talks to us about diet, family lifestyle, and each child's individual needs. 2) in that time with him he Answers every single question I have and never once do I feel like I can't ask him about something or that I will feel stupid about something. And 3) Dr Gabriel works with a lot of children who are on the spectrum- I'm sure those visits are fraught with nervousness and serious questions from those other parents, and Im super grateful to not have to have those exact convos. He's extremely patient, especially having to deal with an anxious first time parent(s) like me. Even with the pack appointments he does not rush us or anything. Aside from his great care and expertise, he's also very empathetic based on his own experience. Also as the appointments are not as frequent anymore; Dr Philip does encourage us to contact them if there are any questions before the next wellness visits. The front desk and assistances are all very nice. I never had any problem with them and the facility is clean. It does get busy and sometimes you might have to wait a bit from your appointment time but it's worth it. Also the Tribeca Pediatrics practice is great and their members portal is helpful and they send you milestones news monthly. No complaints!

Pediatric health care always gives same day sick appointments and even has Saturday hours until 2pm. My daughter's first well visit here at the age of 3 was the most comprehensive one she's had. I love that they take you right into the exam room so you are not waiting in a gross waiting room, and the longest we've waited in the exam room was about 25min. The doctor is actually listen and answer all questions, and we never felt rushed. Give them a try- truly a unique gem in the pediatric world

I don't even know where to start, other than Dr. Lebron and her staff are simply amazing. After our…read moredaughter was born we hopped on Yelp to look up nearby pediatricians in Jersey City, none really stood out or had great reviews. There are a few nearby larger pediatrician groups and everyone mentioned, "if you get Dr. So and So, then it's a great experience, but this doctor is not great or this place is a factory of kids..." Don't get me wrong, there is some benefits to large groups like Tribeca Pediatrics and others, you often can see someone short notice, more resources, locations, etc. but we were new parents and it just did not seem appealing. Moreover, we had got zero family nearby (all on west coast) so wanted someone we could consistently see. We then got our building's little neighborhood online forum (The Madox which is awesome btw and a couple blocks away from Baby Steps) to ask around. Nearly all parents came back saying, "go see Dr. Lebron - she's the best." So, it's Dr. Lebron and basically 2 or 3 assistants who I can't remember their names, but all so sweet and nice. That said, she's busy, she may not have room to see you tomorrow. But in our opinion, it's worth the wait. She will dedicate an hour for your first visit, she's available on cell or email (don't abuse that) and she will come to your house in some instances if you're in the Paulus Hook neighborhood. She's upfront on her philosophy of care and wants to make sure it jives with you. I appreciate that - for instance, she said. If you don't want to vaccinate your child, I'm not the pediatrician for you, I can direct you to some that will. Personally, I just cannot get behind this BS anti-vaccination movement that's based in ZERO evidence and driven by people like Jim Carrey so I found this incredibly gratifying to hear. She will space out vaccinations and delay some if you're more comfortable with that, and she believes in holistic approaches when applicable. Generally they're good and scheduling and sometimes you have to wait a bit, but it's because she cares and spends time with you to make sure you're okay with procedure, or you understand the issues, etc. She truly cares. When my son started experiencing strange side effects from a minor injury Dr. Lebron (correctly) forced my wife and I to take him to a hospital. Dr. Lebron would not stop harassing the hospital over the phone until we were able to make an appointment with a top Doctor in the correct field (harder than you would think)! She most likely saved my son from needing his foot to be amputated. More recently, I called the office @8PM expecting to leave a voicemail. Instead, Dr. Lebron picked up the phone herself, and facetimed me as soon as she heard the issue. Her demeanor truly sets her apart; while I never want to call her, I am always relieved after speaking with Dr. Lebron.
