But he understands me and knows how anal I am about my son when he is sick. he is reassuring and always explains everything in detail or double checks even when im just being a neurotic mom. Staff are nice but its always so busy so they seem swamped... I appreciate them all!

On a whim, I called dr.ali's office and explained that I had a sick baby, and wondered if they took sick visits for non-established patients. Receptionist said 'come right down!'. Hardly ever would you find an office who would do that. Now, the wait time to see dr.ali was tremendous and his office waiting room is Small, standing room only! We waiting WELL over and hour, but it was worth it bc dr. Ali was wonderful, truly a caring person, and a very knowledgeable pediatrician. He took some in office tests and immediately told me the baby had a stronger strain of the flu! He put me on a regime of meds to control her high temps and made me come back in 2 days so he could re-check her! He really cares you get that vibe from him instantly. Very thankful that he helped my sick baby and would recommend him to anyone!

She discovered my son's heart murmur when he was one instead of just rushing us through our appointment. HOWEVER. The place is a horror. No need to make an appointment, you'll still wait-over 45 minutes to an hour. The staff is rude and snippy. They all have attitudes, tooth sucking eye rolling and no eye contact. Forget about a smile. They look like they hate their jobs. At the front desk they all look outrageously annoyed by the sight of you-forget it if you have a question. We were scheduled for a therimisol free flu shot for my toddler. This is the only plane I know of that gives them. They called to confirm our appointment- but neglected to tell us they had no flu shots. They told me after we had been there over an hour, probably thinking they could get away with giving other immunizations and collect on the insurance. I took a day off from work and a loss of income to waste my time and put my toddler through the anxiety of a doctor's visit for nothing. I plan to complain to everyone who will listen. This place is totally unprofessional, ghetto and besides the doctors everyone else I've ever encountered on staff is just bitchy and looks miserable to be there.

My family has had the pleasure of working with Dr. Lebron for 2.5 Years. Dr. Lebron has always gone…read moreabove and beyond with providing responsiveness, patience, and love to my family and I. When my son started experiencing strange side effects from a minor injury Dr. Lebron (correctly) forced my wife and I to take him to a hospital. Dr. Lebron would not stop harassing the hospital over the phone until we were able to make an appointment with a top Doctor in the correct field (harder than you would think)! She most likely saved my son from needing his foot to be amputated. More recently, I called the office @8PM expecting to leave a voicemail. Instead, Dr. Lebron picked up the phone herself, and facetimed me as soon as she heard the issue. Her demeanor truly sets her apart; while I never want to call her, I am always relieved after speaking with Dr. Lebron.

Not reassuring. We…read morehave been coming here since our son was a newborn and we've decided to pull him out and move to another pediatric practice in the city. Dr. Lebron was always quick to send us to another specialist causing these first-time parents a lot of anxiety. When we thought he was having a flat head as a baby, she sent us to a helmet specialist because it might affect our son's "facial asymmetry". My wife took him to North Jersey only to be told to wait it out and come back if the head does not improve. It did improve. When our son had some level of speech delay, she sent us to an Early Intervention and Developmentalist. She said she was not going to perform a diagnosis but suspects it could be autism so she made a prescription to be seen by the specialists. Due to the long wait with in-network providers, we went straight to out-of-network practitioners to have our son evaluated. The occupational therapist and speech therapist performed a 1 1/2 hour comprehensive evaluation and he was interacting pretty well, although we had to address the speech part. At the next late afternoon check-up with Dr. Lebron, she used the word "not normal" when he was not making eye contact. Take note, she was seeing her for 3 minutes without being playful. It was a long wait before he could see her and the boy was already cranky. She was quick to speculate that something was wrong with our kid. We eventually found a developmentalist and he tested negative after a comprehensive evaluation. Bottom line, if there was a cause of concern, perhaps she should be mindful of communicating with the parents. I understand the need to cover all bases but it wouldn't hurt to brush up on some bedside manners as a doctor. It would be best not to cause any unnecessary panic to the parents. Our son has caught up with his developmental milestones and we have been free from any unnecessary worries after transferring him to another practice. We pulled him out after he turned 2.

Tribeca pediatrics was a mixed experience. Let's start with the good:…read more Its office in Hamilton Park is clean and the receptionists are nice. Usually the waits are relatively short, about 15-minutes with an appointment. There is a convenient online portal to make and change appointments. I haven't had any billing issues with them yet, but I only went for a few simple check-ups. Now for the not-so-goods: The examination rooms are all tiny pods. So, you feel like you are in cramped shared workspace. Parking can be a bit challenging in this area depending on the time you go. If your preferred doctor is unavailable, you have no clue in who you will get or be able to choose. This leads to my most important qualm; almost everytime I have visited Tribeca, I had to choose a different doctor. I believe this is due to how Tribeca rotates doctors among each of its locations or because its doctors don't stick around long. Since I wasn't able to get the same doctor for each visit, each doctor had to be briefed on my child's history - a huge inconvenience and drain on time. I only encountered one doctor that I would want to see again at Tribeca, and she was rarely available. So, I stopped going. Overall, Tribeca Pediatrics is a good office for the occasional checkup - the service is solid. But, if you prefer for your child to see the same doctor everytime, who is familiar with your child's condition, and you have built trust in, then you may want to look elsewhere.
