Leslie Kelly is a dream pediatrician…read more Attentive to our needs and loving on our little one. She is reasonable and not an alarmist which has eased my husband's tendency to overreact about small things (like our todder's mild eczema). We are sad to be leaving the practice as we are moving from NY to IN but wanted to make sure to leave a glowing review before we departed. Our L.O. is a preemie and did an 8 day NICU stay before we were able to take him in for his first Ped visit. From day one up until his 18 month visit (plus some as he's now 20 mo.) they have been nothing but friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, thoughtful and easy. We will miss this place and hope that someone reads this and takes our spot so that Leslie can ease your new parent fears and make you feel like fam!

This Pediatric Office is Fraudulent. PLEASE CHECK YOUR INSURANCE STATEMENTS. If you were ever…read morebilled for a visit that you did not attend, REACH OUT TO ME VIA MESSAGES ON YELP. I used to attend Tribeca Pediatrics in Queens, NY and enjoyed my experience. I moved to JC (where everything is a scam) and booked an appointment for my toddler. We never attended the appointment as we extended a family vacation. I didn't pay much mind until I opened my UnitedHealthcare App to see my daughter's insurance was billed. When I reached out, they were adamant this was a mere billing issue. I actually obtained the visitation notes, where DR GAO falsified notes of my daughter's wellbeing, dentistry, school attendance and follow up notes for the next visit. I NEVER STEPPED FOOT INTO THIS PLACE. After, I contacted my lawyer who said this was a criminal issue and advised on several follow ups. DR GAO is now under investigation by the NJ state medical board for insurance fraud. Not only that, it's very clear this entire office is a part of this scam and it is not their first one. If you see their Google reviews, it's filled with notes about billing issues. Their Office scheduling director reached out with a sad email apology, never responded to me and queries after and said again, its a billing error. Sorry, if you falsify medical records of kids, it is actually JAIL for you. No one else even contacted me to apologize. The doctor has had ZERO contact with me after she did this to my child. Remember these notes follow your children to school, can support diagnosis's and more. The fact they are scamming children... in a medical practice... is so alarming. You guys are gross and her response to the NJ board is that this was an admin error since they were so busy. Wow, you're willing to mix up files and make false notes because it's busy? How much time and care do you think they do with children? Speaks to their reviews of horrid wait times and poor service.

I don't even know where to start, other than Dr. Lebron and her staff are simply amazing. After our…read moredaughter was born we hopped on Yelp to look up nearby pediatricians in Jersey City, none really stood out or had great reviews. There are a few nearby larger pediatrician groups and everyone mentioned, "if you get Dr. So and So, then it's a great experience, but this doctor is not great or this place is a factory of kids..." Don't get me wrong, there is some benefits to large groups like Tribeca Pediatrics and others, you often can see someone short notice, more resources, locations, etc. but we were new parents and it just did not seem appealing. Moreover, we had got zero family nearby (all on west coast) so wanted someone we could consistently see. We then got our building's little neighborhood online forum (The Madox which is awesome btw and a couple blocks away from Baby Steps) to ask around. Nearly all parents came back saying, "go see Dr. Lebron - she's the best." So, it's Dr. Lebron and basically 2 or 3 assistants who I can't remember their names, but all so sweet and nice. That said, she's busy, she may not have room to see you tomorrow. But in our opinion, it's worth the wait. She will dedicate an hour for your first visit, she's available on cell or email (don't abuse that) and she will come to your house in some instances if you're in the Paulus Hook neighborhood. She's upfront on her philosophy of care and wants to make sure it jives with you. I appreciate that - for instance, she said. If you don't want to vaccinate your child, I'm not the pediatrician for you, I can direct you to some that will. Personally, I just cannot get behind this BS anti-vaccination movement that's based in ZERO evidence and driven by people like Jim Carrey so I found this incredibly gratifying to hear. She will space out vaccinations and delay some if you're more comfortable with that, and she believes in holistic approaches when applicable. Generally they're good and scheduling and sometimes you have to wait a bit, but it's because she cares and spends time with you to make sure you're okay with procedure, or you understand the issues, etc. She truly cares. I'll just end with, Dr. Lebron, if you move to San Francisco you let us know!

When my son started experiencing strange side effects from a minor injury Dr. Lebron (correctly) forced my wife and I to take him to a hospital. Dr. Lebron would not stop harassing the hospital over the phone until we were able to make an appointment with a top Doctor in the correct field (harder than you would think)! She most likely saved my son from needing his foot to be amputated. More recently, I called the office @8PM expecting to leave a voicemail. Instead, Dr. Lebron picked up the phone herself, and facetimed me as soon as she heard the issue. Her demeanor truly sets her apart; while I never want to call her, I am always relieved after speaking with Dr. Lebron.

Dr Oko is thee best pediatrician. Thee best. I can't say…read moreenough positive things about him. He visited the hospital when I had my son in Hoboken and over the years despite a couple moves I always come back to him. I trust him 100% and will travel just to see him for annual visits. He is caring, on top of everything, knows every stage developmentally from baby thru older children's and is not an alarmist type doctor - very professional, knowledgable and reassuring for a first time nervous mom. A great calming demeanor for moms and kids of all ages. When we moved from Hoboken and I had back up pediatricians nearby just in case, I always insisted on having Oko listed as my main pediatrician ...no I will not transfer all the files - he can make a copy but he is the one I would always call if I had a question or concern. For a year period my son had ear infections and I realized many pediatricians (I screened several) were too quick to prescribe antibiotics or suggest tubes (surgery) as a quick treatment... I realized this was a problem and took it upon myself to research and took a more holistic approach - letting fevers run their course and monitoring fluid etc myself and with pediatrician check ins. Oko was supportive of this and Monitoring my son... And since that tough waiting out the fevers and close monitoring, many phone calls needing reassurance, my son since under age five in many years has a healthy resistance and has not even needed a pediatricians care or even had a flu (vomiting) except once or twice in his life. Oko when I was a first time mom And very nervous was always reassuring and calming, comforting. I am very particular about health care providers and when I find one who is amazing like Oko I will travel an hour plus to see them for annual visits ... And I do for Oko . I wholeheartedly would recommend him to any parent . He is thee Best . * note Dr Oko has moved to another office outside Hoboken - not the office listed here. We have not been there yet but I will be at his new office for his next annual visit

I've heard so many compliments about the PEDIATRICIAN but we'll never know for ourselves because my children aren't pediatric enough. I thought the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends children up to the age of 18 or maybe even 21 remain under pediatric care. To make a superficial determination like that around two children's access to a health care professional amazes me to say the least. I guess office managers are the new MD's. My question is, once the younger patients get to the ages of my kids, does the office manager discharge them from the doctor's care? Parents, I implore you to find out. You may be in for a surprise down the road.
