Came to get my eyebrow piercing jewelry sized down, and the lady didn't sterilize anything. She also informed me I had a piercing bump. I had to ask her multiple times before she answered my question on how to heal the bump (crushing up aspirin and making a paste out of it was the recommendation, which everyone knows is a terrible way to heal a bump). I went here for an ear tattoo and was devastated when I saw what the "artist" did to my ear. Making it worse was the owner Tony and KC who did nothing to fix the matter. Asked for subtle ear tatto- left with a scribbled mess on my ear. Had to start tattoo removal process which is expensive and takes a long time. Also the owner said he promised to fix the mess on my ear and MADE it WORSE by adding white. White is no removable. What a nightmare! Do yourself a favor and find a tattoo shop with real talent and artist. You won't find that here read more

Had to give his to zero star (if possible). I came for my second tattoo in 2 years. Did a walk in but Tony Insley (who did my first) no longer work there so decided to work with Daisey. She took a long time to trace the design from the designs I brought. She somehow modified the original design and it was horrible. Unfortunately, I could not pick all those modifications at the moment. and later I really regretted to let them use my skin. The lines are too thin and it's an intricate design so making them bold later is not a good idea. I felt it needed more space. The artist seemed to have no conviction which later made me sad to go and spend my skin and $175+50. I reached back but the reply was cold, unsympathetic and they think I want free stuff which still makes me enraged. lol! Anyways, I am planning to add new stuff and modify the tattoo from some other place in bmore. read more

I can't get enough of this place. It's such a family vibe. Recently went in for a nose piercing and was greeted right away by a young fella (Aiden). He was warm and welcoming but fun. After finding out what I was in for and some small talk it was finally time. Bree takes me to her station (it was very neat and organized). Once I was seated she pulled out everything that she was gonna use and explained why the jewelry was going to be different. She took my basic nose ring idea and ran with it. It seemed like only one minute had passed but before I knew it I had 3 new holes in my nose and could not be more happy. There was another young lady(Hannah) who came over to see. Everyone was just so pleasant and really enjoyed their work;They enjoyed each others work and that was amazing to see. This place was perfect for my nose piercing experience. Josh was a wonderful piercer. He's a straight talker who takes no BS, but super sweet in the way he made me feel super comfortable and joked with me since he knew how nervous I was! He pierced my nose in the perfect spot and made me feel really comfortable about the after care and calling with questions. I called two days after since I was having some light blood oozing from the site, but he was super cool and thorough in answering my questions and made me feel at ease. The price was also on point. They charge $35 for a nose piercing. When I was first price shopping, I called Saints & Sinners, and their charge was $65!!! I'm sure they do a fantastic job, but $30 more for a straightforward piercing seems like price gouging to me. Maybe because it's in Fells? Stopped by about two weeks ago to get my septum pierced. The shop manager was super friendly, and got everything in order before I went back. Josh welcomed me back to his station right away. Everything was orderly and clean. He talked me through everything he was going to do. He even gave me some advice about the healing of my industrial piercing. He was really gentle, and totally put me a ease. It was far less painful than my industrial and is healing brilliantly. Josh is clearly very experienced. We were looking for a Tattoo place that would do ear piercings for children. We were referred to Josh at Deville Ink. When we called he was extremely helpful and very flexible with the hours. We went in today and it was more of the same. He treated our five year old daughter as if she was royalty. He was extremely helpful and explained everything before he did it. He walked her through what was going to happen and helped her relax. Prior to him doing the piercing he marked her ears, and then remarked them multiple times. He made sure that they were perfectly centered and matched on both sides. The piercing went smoothly with no tears and ended with a freezy pop. Prices are reasonable. Jorge was friendly, quick, and frankly this was the least painful tattoo I've ever had. So, he has a gentle hand! Never made it to back of the house because front of the house was so lazy and unfriendly. Not sure if it's because I'm obviously queer or if they thought I didn't have money. There is no quicker way to loose my business than to treat me as if my business isn't worth your time. I marched out of there and straight to Fidelity Tattoo in Middle River. My daughter and I both went in today for a cartilage piercing. The place was super friendly, extremely sanitary, clean & well kept. Everyone spoke to us making us feel welcome. All the proper techniques were explained to us on the correct ways to take care of our piercings and the proper way and amount of times a day to clean them. This is an award winning shop that produces quality art. As for piercing... I have been pierced at DeVille Ink (Tony is a master piercer and the owner and Josh goes above and beyond). Microdermal implants, lip, nostril, second navel, you name it! They explain everything - the entire process including aftercare. They are also there if you have any problem with the piercing. Sometimes people don't care for the piercings the right way, the body doesn't take to the piercing, dermals get bumped very easily, etc. They have been on call to answer any of my questions. They have even fixed old shop's mess-ups. Their jewelry is top of the line and they sell it for such a reasonable price. I have researched each piercing prior to getting them done and I would not go anywhere else. They honor their quality work and are there to help out (like changing jewelry) even after the piercing is done - no matter how long after. They will also consult with you before you get your piercing done. The first time I went to get pierced there, the consult confirmed that they were the place to go. I've also had Tony do cover-ups and have had hours of tattoo sessions with him. Not only is he talented, but professional and knows his stuff. I am so happy with the art I have. He has fixed a lot of junk work, but also created new pieces that are just gorgeous and flow with my body and the rest of my ink. KC DeVille does amazing work as well. Her art is beautiful. Normally I don't post reviews but felt this time it was needed. Deville Ink is amazing, very relaxed and a clean environment as well as a friendly staff. I came here to get my first tattoo. It took 62 years, but I was finally ready. Just so happens Tony Deville the owner was my tattoo artist. I came in with a picture of something I liked, but other than that I had no clue. We talked for 30 minutes about the picture and my thoughts on what I wanted. I realized something quick, Tony wasn't just interested in getting me in and out he was more interested in making sure I got what I wanted and was completely satisfied. Which he did! He customized my designed even better than I could have had imagined. That was 5 months ago. I am now on my 5th tattoo and ready to finish my sleeve, custom designed by Tony and myself.
