I had my laptop with this facility for about 3 weeks for a simple charge port issue with my laptop…read more I've had it repaired before at a different shop before, so I had an idea of what to expect. After the first week without hearing anything I decided to call and get a status report: they told me I would have to wait another week for the part to come in. After not hearing anything for another week, again, I called expecting a status report. They told me that the technician would be in in about 15 mins and I would receive a call. After not hearing anything for an hour I called and was told that he wouldn't be in for another 45 minutes. All I wanted was a status report! Finally after another hour, I got a call from the technician saying that the part hasn't come in yet. The next day I received a call saying there was nothing else they could do: that the shop I had taken it to before had done damage to it and that the part wasn't fitting properly. They also mentioned that the laptop wouldn't even turn on. I figured that it wouldn't from the start since I haven't been able to maintain a charge... DUH. Nonetheless, they said they wouldn't charge me anything. When I went in to pick up my laptop they couldn't find my charger. Later, upon further inspection when I had taken it to another facility: we noticed that the keyboard had been damaged and didn't work anymore. It wasn't like that when I dropped it off at Battery Shack... The only good thing is that they didn't charge me for the part they had to order. Other than that I can't find any positives for this facility. I had no communication while they were trying to fix it, and they broke my keyboard. I'm beyond frustrated with this experience. What a waste of my time.

They are very friendly and helpful to customers. Change two battery here in ten years.read more

Left the nearby Lowes after a terrible experience where they couldn't find the tools I needed--not…read morerare, just a little specialized. Went in here. Clean, well lit store. Welcomed when I came in. They quickly located the items, one of which, the one I found on my own at Lowes, was actually $10 cheaper. Fast, friendly service. In and out within 10 minutes with what I needed Small but adequate stripmall private lot just off a bust intersection.

The team of Corey (sp?) and Tommy working the evening I had a dead battery proved to be exceptional…read more- two great O'Reilly (in Royal Oak) employees who showcase by example what outstanding customer service is and should be! When no one else was offering to help with a battery and its replacement (from reasons that ranged from the obtuse of my "model / make car couldn't be done" to "we close in 30 minutes, so no" ... they answered the call for help and did the battery replace for me - just great service all around!
