Fast and convenient! I needed a replacement battery for my garage door opener remote. They replaced it in 30 seconds and I was on my way. The man working there seemed to be the owner and was very friendly. They have all kinds of batteries including car batteries and any kind of bulbs you can think of. read more

If you want to pay $10 to have them install a fob battery any idiot with a dime can install - and not tell you there is a $10 fee for the assistance, they're your place. When I asked why it was $14 for $4 worth of batteries, I got a half hearted sorry I should have mentioned it before I did it. I used to go to these places anytime I needed a battery. Never again. Batteries Plus - Auto Parts & Supplies Near Me - Madison Heights, Michigan

Nice store; less than friendly service. I could get a nicer interaction at a gas station.

Had the lifetime battery replacement installed in the Midwest. Moved North to this area and within 5 months, the battery required replacement. I went to this location where it was "replaced." Within 3 days, the battery failed. A trip back to Batteries Plus resulted in a "test" and reset instructions on a YouTube site. All done until the battery failed again within a week. This time I went to the dealership where a new battery was installed. The key fob has worked flawlessly for months now. read more

Good place to go to find unusual batteries. Many big box and hardware stores just carry the more common types and are not familiar with the others. read more

I used to go to the woodward location (now closed) so now I come to this location. These guys are great when it comes to not just batteries but how to get into devices to replace them. Those devices where it's not obvious or needs special tools. I have gotten everything from a car remote, to a car battery to a laptop battery here. They have dome special orders and have always been very helpful. I also get my AA, AAA, and 9 volt batteries here. It's a tad more expensive than the dollar store, but batteries are definately a "get what you pay for" item. Never been dissapointed here. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought 4 batteries($27 total) for my smoke alarm 79 days ago that were suppose to last a year-Mike the manager refused to give me a refund or offer replacements on these faulty batteries-I was told they had a 2 week warranty-are you kidding?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only someone needing a lobotomy should ever shop here. To have this kind of attitude in this expensive current economic environment is absurd-especially for a retired citizen like me... AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST !!!!!!! read more

My annual visit to BatteriesPlus did not disappoint. I had multiple items needing help. A watch battery, a garage door opener getting weak and then two devices I could not get open to replace the batteries myself. An Oximeter and a TV remote - turning eighty soon and my arthritic hands could not open them, and I would tell you the man who helped was so helpful to show me where the pressure was needed to make it happen. It's 2023 and this is service that borders on extinct. I would not go anywhere else but BatteriesPlus. But heads up, I did ask if he opened pickle jars and he said "no". Great humor, it all made this old lady very happy. read more

Friendly, Fast Service....I'm unsure about competitive pricing though. The replacement motorcycle battery they had seemed a little pricey but the salesman was helpful running a battery diagnostic for me. They checked my old battery and it seemed to check out OK so I didn't end up buying anything. read more

Disappointed I had an appointment last Thursday 12/12 and was called to notify me that they did not have the part (a screen for a Samsung Galaxy S8, one of the most popular phones ever sold). My appointment was rescheduled to 12/17, 5 days later. I phoned to make sure they had stock on the part as I had heard nothing from the store. They still did not have the part. The gentleman at the store fumbled around and said the person who places the order simply failed to do so. Then, he told me that it wasn't ordered because they were on back order. He said they get their shipments on Tuesday afternoon, so the soonest they might have it is Christmas Eve. My advice to anyone operating a business that deals with the public: 1. Be courteous and pleasant on the phone and in person. 2. Be truthful and set realistic expectations with the customer. 3. Communicate! Follow up if there is going to be a delay. 4. Follow through on what you say you are going to do. read more

This place have just about anything that is batteries and light bulb related products. They are friendly and professional. One of the store clerk even helped me score discounts that I did not even know I was entitled to. Will definitely return for all my battery needs. Some pll say to go online and buy. Beware, if you buy the wrong one or it comes from some shady merchant and it screws up your device, you are SOL. Trust these professionals. Buy with confidence. They take good care of their customers. I am not sure what the first reviewer was talking about. The staff there is always helpful and friendly. read more

This store is very well stocked; staff is helpful; prices a bit high, but you'll find what you need.

Bought a LG G4 battery in March of 2019. CEL11673F brand. HIGH priced ($40) for an aftermarket X2 Power battery. Wouldn't honor online coupon either despite there being no exceptions for my battery, etc. Used the battery for several months...OK, worked from home a lot in 2020, didn't get out much. By fall of '20 the battery was moderately holding a charge, just don't use your phone much if you want it to last for a shopping trip more than an hour. [Of course, the warranty was only 12 months so it fails not long after.] Now a year later, a whopping two years from initial use, it barely can keep up with light phone usage while it's on a slow charger. Junk products, bad store, poor customer service. read more

WONDERFUL place, Ben replaced my watch batteries and he was very efficient and understanding. Not many places like these anymore!

Super helpful. I didn't realize they had closed at six but the person working let me come in and grab the two batteries I needed.

The battery store at 13mile in Madison heights is excellent. They have replaced my fob batteries and even my Calibre cigarette lighter. Recently my fob was erratic, it needed to be soldered, the owner didn't charge me anything. Excellent customer service. read more

I spend my lunch break and went in and bought a Duracell battery for my motorcycle. The guy working the counter sells the display and gives me connector hardware for the battery and terminals. I get home and sure enough the hardware didn't fit. So late to work, and another spent lunch break to go in and explain to another customer rep, with the same customer rep from the day before looking on. The 2nd customer rep explained that wasn't the right hardware and walks 5 feet to the display box, looks inside, and gives me the correct hardware. "Sorry" from first customer rep. Yes you are. read more

My iPhone was damaged pretty badly, the screen was shattered and the metal housing was bent. I thought my phone was beyond repair but I figured I still let the professional take a look. The male clerk assured me he is able to fix my phone which I was extremely happy to hear. He ended up fixing my screen and installed a new charging port. He was also able to bend the housing back to its proper shape. It took the technician about an hour and half to fix my phone. I was very impressed that the technician was able to fix my phone. If you need to get your phone fixed I highly recommend this place. They will make sure to get the job done to your satisfaction. Price is very reasonable and a bonus is you get 6 months warranty! read more

This was going to be my first visit and surely my last at this particular store. I took my favorite watch to get a battery. I couldn't tell what size I needed. A male clerk came out and asked if he could help or was I with another customer. I explained that I needed a battery replaced and he said, " I can help you before I go on break, what is it that you need?" (Me), Just a battery replaced. (Clerk) would you like for me to replace the battery? (Me) How much will it be? (Clerk) That will be $5, what would you like for me to do? I'm not a mind reader. (Me) replace the battery. The clerk dropped my watch on his work space, sighed because the back had screws. He removed one screw and had difficulty with the second screw. He put the first screw back. Never looking up he said " Can't replace the battery, don't have the right tools." There were two clerks, one Latino, who was tending to another customer, a Caucasian clerk with grey hair. Not the nicest person and definitely should not be in the customer service business. Degrading demeanor and spoke in such a way that he expected and wanted me to know that he was doing me a favor by waiting on me before he took his break. It's a sure bet, that I will never go back. I was disappointed, since I looked forward to visiting on the these stores, ever since I saw it on Under Cover Boss. read more

I bought a motorcycle battery from these guys and my motorcycle wouldn't start. I made the mistake of trusting that the brand new battery would be fine and something else must be wrong. The dealership found that the brand new battery was not producing enough amps to start the bike. The process took over 2 weeks (the return period), so I hoping that they would work with me since they did sell me a bad battery. Not only would they not work with me, the man tried telling me - "you can't just put a new battery in the bike, you have to charge it first", followed by more b.s. The lady made comments like "we don't know what you were doing with the battery for 2 weeks." They were very rude and not helpful at all. The battery was still under warranty so even if they let me returned it, they could have filed a claim, received another battery, and not lost any profit. Bottom line - don't not trust what these guys say, and if they sell you a bad product keep in mind they do not budge with the return policy. read more

This was the only place (aside from ordering online) that I could find the batteries for the 3D glasses that go with my tv. Not even ABC Warehouse (that sold me the tv) has spares to buy. The clerk found them in two seconds and they were only $9 for a pair! I will return! read more
