I live in SC, but was having a car shipped to Detail City before giving it to my parents. AJ could not have been more accommodating, even helping me find a trusted cross country shipping company. He sent videos of the car being delivered and kept me informed about the status of the car. The before and after photos of the car after their service, was truly amazing. The steering wheel had about 50 years of gunk on it, and AJ and his team had it looking brand new. The put some sort of paint sealant on the exterior, and brought this deep red out of the paint color. Unfortunately there was a mechanical issue with the car that came up right before I was about to present the car to my parents, and that is where AJ's customer service went above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. He came in on a day off to let a mechanic come and look at it in the shop. He even was doing research on his own about what possible issues could be with the car. He let us keep the car there until it was up and running. The car is a manual transmission and my parents haven't driven stick in a while, so I was worried about them driving it for the first time on major roads. Once the car got running, AJ drove the car to my parent's house, so that they didn't have to be on the major roads with it. I bought my parents a car, and I truly think my parents wish AJ was their son. In a time where customer service seems to have died, AJ has personally revived my hope in humanity. Overall the price is within reason of what I'd expect to pay but the prices are set to go up due to command. The outside of car wash spotless and I was very thrilled to see it shine. The entire was mostly spotless too but it was lacking in some areas. On my seats the vacuums didn't clean through and there was small dirt/crumbs still and with the platinum wash I would expect them to take the mats out hose them down and wash it as well but that wasn't the case. Overall the do a good job but do a fully through inspection prior to departing. Also remember, if you select platinum your service includes an air freshener don't let them forget that; I had to remind them.
