Went on a Friday around 2pm and attendant said the wait was 15 minutes. No problem, I thought ,I'd wait, it was a warm, sunny day after all. I quickly realized there were NO cars ahead of me, and the post wash/vacuum was only about 1/3 filled. I observed about 5 other cars turn around. The staff was disengaged, on their phones and chatting. I don't know why there was a significant wait time, but I left. Business must be good, they can turn so many cars away! read more

Rude attendant. Paid for deluxe wash. By end of cycle, car was still completely covered in bubbles and was dripping wet.

1/26/25 Just got my car washed at 1901 Cermak, Broadview location and the attendant never brushed off the back window / tailgate of my SUV. He just stood there smoking his cigarette. This is a fine car wash! We stopped by here in between running some errands and it worked out just fine. We went on a road trip for Memorial Day weekend and our car needed to be vacuumed out. They had social distancing reminder throughout the area. They have a bunch of self-serve, complimentary large vacuums here that also drew us in. Unfortunately, we had to move spots twice because the vacuums weren't working. It was busy on the day we went so we had to wait until one cleared that looked like it was working. Finally when we got to a spot that had a working vacuum, we were ready to go! The vacuum tube stretched pretty long and had great power. We were impressed at how well and quickly it worked. We also needed to get a car wash and got lucky with no line for that. There was a gentleman in the car wash area directing and he also hand mopped the front of our car and the window. Nice touch! The car wash was like $6 I think and worth it. Next time we come back we'd come a little earlier to avoid the crowd. If the other vacuums get fixed, this is a great spot to come in and and out and get your car cleaned up quick! read more

I actually like Buddy Bear, and even have the deal where you pay $17.99 a month and get your car washed as often as you'd like... Aside for one time when my car was covered with spots, I had no issue with them... until this evening!!! Before driving out of my way, I checked their website which said their hours were 7:00-9:00 Mon.-Sat. Since a bird had apparently had diarrhea on my window, I drove over there only to discover that they were already closed and it was only 8:10!!! Either change your site or change your time, but don't waste mine!!! read more

Driver's side mirror broken off. BEWARE that you are on your own, when entering these automatic car washes. These places have No Accountability. I've gone to this car wash a number of times without issue, but today my driver's side mirror got broken off going through this car wash. Of course there is a "sign" that says to fold in your mirrors, which I have never done in the past. But because "they have a sign", they are not responsible for damaging your car. My car is a 2018 with no issues until now, so it's not a junk car to begin with. AVOID these car washes or Enter at your own risk. read more

When you visit buddy bear you can be of several things. 1). Your car will always have soap that doesn't rinse off properly. 2). Wax will remain on the vehicle, and smear. Which looks terrible on a black finish. 3). You'll think. Your getting a bargain on 3 washes for $20, until you realize you had to suffer through 1 & 2. I've been using this car wash for several months since they opened and am very disappointed. I will be heading back across town to the Brookfield car wash for more a more consistent wash and rinse. read more

During the car wash, though I was in neutral, the car in front of me had an issue and it stopped moving. My car hit the car in front. Fortunately no damage occurred. There was no one available to help us in the situation. It also caused my car to not get completely washed. The worker on duty unfortunately could not communicate in English, and he would not allow my car to have another wash. He said I'd have to wait for his manager who was at Home Depot. Great wash. Super dryers so your car does not freeze up when it's cold. I went a few times when they first opened had a great wash but I went today because I needed to vacuum out my car - the vacuums are horrible! They wouldn't even suck up a leaf in my car.
