If you're getting married, you HAVE to hire Kristi. She helped me find the perfect wedding venue for me and plan my DREAM wedding at the Nobu Hotel in Cabo (fireworks, sparklers, flowers galore...you can see more on my Instagram @cynthiamhuang). We agree with all the descriptors: Organized, Thoughtful, Caring, Calming, Talented etc. What I will add is a groom's perspective. My motto when planning the wedding was, "If it can go wrong, it probably will". She helped plan our August 2014 wedding at the Langham in Pasadena and by all accounts it was an amazing event. I was looking for a planner that could add value when it came to the design concept of my overall wedding. Jeannie Savage of Details Details came highly recommended from the catering manager at St. Regis Monarch Beach. Let's just say she was a PERFECT fit. My fiancé at the time (now husband) made a comment that he never thought he would meet anyone more organized and intense than me. I just laughed... and knew it was a prefect fit. Jeannie had access to great vendors in OC and LA who were truly professional and highly rated. Her ideas on the wedding design and overall look and feel were top notch and she made sure everything was cohesive. The team she brought with her on our wedding day was just as awesome. Needless to say our wedding was flawless and guests are still raving about it today. Overall, Jeannie and her team didn't miss a beat. On a side note, I would not agree with the 1 star rating below. We had our wedding coordinated by Jeannie Savage, Detail Details Wedding and Event Planning at the St. Regis Monarch Beach. We could not even begin to start to say how amazing, elegant, smart, beautiful, gracious, generous and the list goes on, Jeannie was throughout the whole process from the beginning to end. We were interviewing three different wedding planners before we met with Jeannie and right off the bet, we knew that she would be the "one." In the interview meeting, Jeannie was very confident, yet humble in portraying her expertise and how she patiently explained to us what wedding planning entails. And yes, there were so many details involved in it! Needless to say, we hired Jeannie to be our wedding planner, and that was the best decision we ever made. There was never one email/phone call/text missed in terms of responding to our questions (from the most ridiculous ones to the important ones) during the whole process. We felt at ease and comfortable knowing that in every step of the way, our wedding planner is there. Jeannie is very organized, responsive and knowledgeable especially when it comes to details that we should be paying attention to and worth applying our budget towards, as well as to things which should be avoided. She listens to our visions, needs, and how we pictured everything to be. The vendors that Jeannie recommended and introduced us to were also needless to say, TOPNOTCH! We would not expect anything less knowing that Jeannie always puts perfection on her work along with the rest of the amazing teams/vendors she closely works with. We had absolutely no complaints about all of the vendors we worked with. We really enjoyed our wedding planning process, and were always excited whenever we had wedding related meetings scheduled. The wedding day itself was flawless, or if there was any glitch going on, we were not even aware of any of it. Her team was always constantly with us and there for anything we needed from the smallest details (e.g. water, slippery shoe emergency, dress change assistance, any anything else you name it!). The execution of the wedding day was nothing compared to any other weddings we had been to. We were actually able to enjoy our day with our guests, ate our dinner, took a lot of pictures with our guests, danced the whole night and sent our guests home. It was definitely the best day, period. Jeannie has this personality and charisma that makes you "once your heart got touched by Jeannie, you can never let go of her." Jeannie Savage is with no doubt, the BEST of the BEST of a wedding planner you can ever hire in this world. Kristi Lee is the best!!!! I honestly could not have planned my wedding without her. I got married at Pelican Hill Resort on July 14th, 2018 (Best day ever!)...I hired her about a year before my wedding date and she helped me every step of the way. My husband and I both work in the medical field so we are always busy but kristi was super accommodating to our schedule which was a huge relief. Not only is she an amazing wedding coordinator but she is also soooo sweet...it feels like your planning the wedding with your friend!! My best friend and I were actually both planning our weddings at the same time with Kristi (she referred me to her) and it was so much fun! I was blown away on the wedding day with how BEAUTIFUL everything turned out...Truly amazing and the best day/night of my life. If you are a bride with high anxiety like me (lol), then you HAVE to hire Kristi because you will not have a single worry on your wedding day with her on board. Amazing job. The wedding was flawless and Carrie Johnson was so professional yet warm and kind. She always kept cool, smiling and friendly, even when things needed to get done and people were busy laughing and having fun at the rehearsal. My wife and I were truly blessed to have Michelle as our wedding planner. Simply put, her work was ineffable. Michelle is one of the hardest working professionals I have ever worked with. She understands the greater visions and executes with all the details. Some people can execute. Some people can communicate well. Some people are creative and come up with ideas. Michelle has all of those qualities. Throughout the journey, Michelle felt like our sister and was always available and easy to reach. And she has an extensive knowledge of quality vendors that will work in your budget. During the night of the wedding, everything went so smoothly, that my wife and I thought that we were in a dream. Michelle and her coordinators were all on point. They were always there. We literally had zero concerns as they were on top of everything. I would highly recommend Michelle for any wedding. After an awesome introductory call with Jeannie, I told her I wanted to hire her team! Then she completely ghosted us. After many calls, voicemails and a couple emails we finally moved on. I think she chose to not work with us after she heard our budget was less than 6 figures. i wish she had just told us that instead of ignoring us. Very unprofessional. read more
