If you're getting married, you HAVE to hire Kristi. She helped me find the perfect wedding venue for me and plan my DREAM wedding at the Nobu Hotel in Cabo (fireworks, sparklers, flowers galore...you can see more on my Instagram @cynthiamhuang). All our guests were beyond wow-ed by everything because every detail was fully thought through for our 4-day wedding weekend, all thanks to Kristi. We had some trouble with a few of the venues we were hosting events at and Kristi really supported us through it all. I would give 10 stars if possible! I knew I needed a planner for my wedding (even if the venue didn't explicitly require one), but for my piece of mind. My mom suggested Details Details so we booked a consult. I met with Samantha and was instantly warmly greeted! She really was interested in our story as a couple and I liked her personality and style. I was concerned that she hadn't worked at our chosen venue before but was comforted that she had worked a few Indian weddings. I chose a 3 month package which was perfect for me as I was able to handle booking my own vendors. She coordinated with them and gave me advice on the daily. We had a couple phone calls, 2 in person meetings and a ton of texts and emails. She advised me honestly and did not upswell me on anything. We had an extremely organized Indian wedding!! There is not much on here that hasn't been said about Jeannie Savage. We agree with all the descriptors: Organized, Thoughtful, Caring, Calming, Talented etc. What I will add is a groom's perspective. My motto when planning the wedding was, "If it can go wrong, it probably will". She helped plan our August 2014 wedding at the Langham in Pasadena and by all accounts it was an amazing event. Her meticulous planning and thoughtful advice got us through all the bumps and pitfalls that come with wedding planning. When we had a argument about anything (and there were a lot) - I'd just say, "Let's ask Jeannie". Sometimes things don't always go as planned. When my wife arrived to the church, she turned to her bridesmaids and asked, "Hey, did anyone bring my veil?" *blank stares* They realized they had left it in the hotel room - 15 minutes before she had to walk down the aisle. Jeannie and her team rushed to get the veil from the hotel room despite the time constraints. She parked across the street from the church and her assistant ran across the street into the church. And yes, there were so many details involved in it! Needless to say, we hired Jeannie to be our wedding planner, and that was the best decision we ever made. There was never one email/phone call/text missed in terms of responding to our questions (from the most ridiculous ones to the important ones) during the whole process. We felt at ease and comfortable knowing that in every step of the way, our wedding planner is there. Jeannie is very organized, responsive and knowledgeable especially when it comes to details that we should be paying attention to and worth applying our budget towards, as well as to things which should be avoided. She listens to our visions, needs, and how we pictured everything to be. The vendors that Jeannie recommended and introduced us to were also needless to say, TOPNOTCH! We would not expect anything less knowing that Jeannie always puts perfection on her work along with the rest of the amazing teams/vendors she closely works with. We had absolutely no complaints about all of the vendors we worked with. We really enjoyed our wedding planning process, and were always excited whenever we had wedding related meetings scheduled. The wedding day itself was flawless, or if there was any glitch going on, we were not even aware of any of it. Her team was always constantly with us and there for anything we needed from the smallest details (e.g. water, slippery shoe emergency, dress change assistance, any anything else you name it!). The execution of the wedding day was nothing compared to any other weddings we had been to. We were actually able to enjoy our day with our guests, ate our dinner, took a lot of pictures with our guests, danced the whole night and sent our guests home. It was definitely the best day, period. Jeannie has this personality and charisma that makes you "once your heart got touched by Jeannie, you can never let go of her." They are magical angels looking out for the best interest of the bride and groom. Our day started out with rain (30 minutes before the ceremony) and I (bride) was as calm as a whistle.
