I can't tell you how much that meant to me over the years. It is so difficult to drive these exotic cars around the world (that's what i do) but when you really get jammed up it is the next town over getting something from the local store. It's always a close call or ... even better !!! i have an idea then it's always oh my God, I got a call Eddie. after a while God and Eddie were protecting me. He would tell me about different protection that would save me in the long run, and Eddie put it on the car.; we clearcoated the entire car (this was not done prior to detailing Dynamics doing it with me in 2009) Eddie has done amazing audio work for me. Eddie and Matt, the owners are really fantastic and committed to customer service. They are not cheap by any means. If you want to save money you're better off at one of the lesser shops. They do the top cars in the New York area (including some that go on the big rallies such as Goldrush Rally) and devote tremendous amounts of time and attention to their work. They also never push extra modifications and will often dissuade you from doing something that they think is expensive and unnecessary. The work they have done on my cars is simply exemplary and beyond reproach. For example, the XPEL Ultimate full clear bras they have installed on my cars are undetectable with no visible seams. To make that happen, they removed substantially all of the exterior parts of the car and put the seams of the wrap underneath them or around the doors, hood, fenders, trunk so that there are no cutlines visible. The work they do is so painstakingly detailed and careful that it took two of their employees three full days to wrap one of my cars. I was there so I saw it happen. Eddie's work ethic is so strong that he came in the day after Christmas, when the shop was supposed to be closed, to start the XPEL wrap of one of my cars. Also their name is a misnomer. They are not a detailing only shop. Rather, they are a full custom shop that does electronic mods (such as laser jammers, hidden radar detectors with display hidden in rearview mirror, front and rear parking cameras, etc), performance mods and all the detailing stuff such as XPEL clear bras, ClearPlex for the windshield, tints, caliper and rotor hat painting and the usual detailing services. The quality of their work and loyal customer base is second to none -- the shop is always filled with top line exotic and semi exotic cars and really does look like a car show. He stopped what he was doing, looked at it and removed the touch up paint that I put over i myself. He went to work and made it a lot less noticeable. While looking for a good place to get my car tinted, I came across Detailing Dynamics. I called in and I had a lot of questions. Their staff took the time to answer my questions. The window tinting went very well. They kept my car for the whole day. It's been a few months and the tints still look good. My only complaint is that I was told my vehicle would be washed as well. When I went to pick it up it wasn't and when I inquired, they said they didn't have enough time. My advise is don't offer it if you can't guarantee it. So.... A young gentleman came to my office in 1994 to clean and detail my 1992 red Audi 100CS. He brought his white Chevy Astrovan, replete with a fully mounted, 55 gallon drum of water with which to power wash the exterior. He would stay the entire day, by himself, and carefully detail, clean and brighten every part of this car, including the wheel wells and engine compartment. He would spend an average of 8-9 hours every time he came. He only asked for $165.00 for this level of effort and commitment. I found out later he is an ex-Boeing engineer, who couldn't see himself sitting behind a desk for the rest of his life. Today, 21 years later, I picked up my BMW convertible from him, having been freshly detailed. In his extensive shop, he has a partner and 8 employees. He has, in the front area, 5 cars besides mine he is currently working on, valued at more than 8 million dollars. In the back area, another 1-2 million. He has become recognized as one of the very best in a business where most people think $99 is overpriced to have a vehicle properly cared for. There's a lesson here for all. I searched and found Matt at Detailing Dynamics after an unfortunate experience with paint protection film on my brand new car. I needed someone to remove the film, correct the paint and reinstall new film and I was very nervous about finding someone would would take care of my car as good as I would if I had the time. Immediately upon speaking with Matt I knew I'd found an expert. He was knowledgable, professional, courteous and prompt. It was a bit of a distance to travel and I knew I'd have to leave the car for several days but somehow I could tell I'd found the right place. Upon dropping off my car Matt walked us through his shop and we spent a great deal of time discussing cars - his own, ones he has worked on in the past and ones currently in the shop. I could see from a car similar to my own that the quality of his work was excellent. I felt very comfortable leaving my car in his hands. Throughout the week Matt kept me updated on the progress of my car and what was going on. At the end he emailed me some photos and they looked good. The real test was seeing the car in person which came when I arrived a few days later to pick up my car (covered and out of the way). When they brought my car out I was truly amazed - the paint, the film, the wheels were all astounding. The guys in the shop (they were not open when I dropped off) were all courteous and diligently working. It's truly refreshing to see not just an owner but an entire team of professionals who like what they do and go the extra mile to do things right. If you are detail oriented, if you worry about your cars like you would a person, if you value being treated right and having work done correctly the FIRST time, then Detailing Dynamics is hands down where you want to go for detailing, cleaning, and paint protection film. These guys are the best detailing crew in the USA. Worked with them to do some paint protection on my family's new Porsche Panamera 4S and their work is flawless. Do not be fooled by these individuals. I had two experiences with them. I brought a Porsche 911 for protective film and they dented the rear quarter panel over the wheel well and tried to cover themselves. I know every inch of my cars and the vehicle was not damaged when I brought it in. I decided to give them another try with a car we bought our son to have the front end of the car filmed. I paid them in advance which I should never have done and they left the car outside for me to pick up. The hood had hundreds of water bubbles under the film which they told me would eventually go away in the sun. I am totally familiar with film and yes maybe a few tiny ones which still should never be left but not hundreds. When I approached them Eddie became verbally and almost physical abusive. It took threats to sue them for them to return my money. My suggestion do not engage these people for work on your vehicles. read more

Well where do I start? I recently purchased a brand new sedan, white in color. After a couple of weeks of driving it on our wonderful NY roads, I started to notice small chips in the front bumper and there was one even on the hood. I guess you don't really realize how much junk the car in front of you kicks up until you stop and notice the damage on your own vehicle. In any event, I started looking for a product that would protect the paint on my vehicle as well as a place that would install such product. At first, I came up empty. There was no place in my area (Dutchess County, NY) that knew about, much less would install Xpel (paint protective film). Most places were way down in the city and Long Island. So I started looking there and I came across Detailing Dynamics in Mineola. The place is about a two hour drive from my home with that dreadful city traffic and all so at first I was hesitant but the more and more I looked, people had nothing but good things to say about the place so I decided to take a gamble and give them a shot. I gotta say it was the best decision I've made in a while. I ended up sending an email to their website and within a few hours I got a call back from Eddie. I explained to him my issues with the car and he talked to me at length about Xpel and what it could do. What sold me was the fact that he actually recommended that I not get certain areas of the car wrapped since they are unlikely to sustain damage from road debris. Most guys would try to up sell you on things you don't need just to make a buck. But it seemed that Eddie was genuinely interested in getting my vehicle protected and meeting my specific needs as a customer. So I made an appointment to bring the car in. The day I got to his shop, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the place. Most shops that I've been to having anything to do with the automotive industry and usually dark, dank, greasy places with tools laying everywhere. Not Detailing Dynamics, this place is spotless and pristine. Its almost as if they have a cleaning crew stashed somewhere that tidys the place up every few minutes. In short order, Eddie came out from the back and we went over a few things about the car. I was treated to a "backstage" tour of the place and if I had ANY doubts about the level of work that these guys do, this is when they were all erased. These guys must have had several million dollars worth of high end super cars that they were working on easy. I'm talking everything from high end Porsches, Ferraris, Lambos. Some cars that I never even heard of cause they're so expensive lol. Seeing all of these high end super toys and the level of professionalism exhibited by everyone there, I knew that my humble Audi A6 was in good hands. I spoke with Eddie and Matt again, they're both super great guys and very down to earth. You can tell that Eddie is the jokester of the two. I explained to them that in addition to the XPel, I would like to get my brake calipers painted also. They said, "sure, no problem." Eddie explained to me how that works and what they do. Shortly after that we exchanged keys (yes, the provided me a loaner car which I didn't expect) and I was on my way home. Several days later, I got the call that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. When I arrived back at the shop, I spoke with Matt who showed me the work on the car. To say that the attention to detail and craftsmanship that these guys pour into their work is incredible would be an understatement. The car looks fantastic. The red brake calipers against the white body makes the car really pop. The Xpel was installed in such a fashion that it doesn't even look like its there at all. All in all I was thrilled with the level of service I received at Detailing Dynamics. So much so that the next time I need anything done vehicle related I will gladly travel the two hours down to give them my business. You don't often find people like Eddie and Matt who pour their heart and soul into what they do for a living but when you do, its a breath of fresh air. Like I mentioned previously my Audi A6 was far being the most expensive car there. Far from it, but I got a sense that my car was treated with the same exact car as the $300k car sitting next to it.
