I was in a bit of a situation (had a ton of errands to run and was leaving for Tahoe in a few hours) and had spilled some motor oil in my engine compartment the night before. I frantically called every engine cleaning place early in the morning until Jeff told me that I could self-wash my engine in their outer bay for just $1 a minute. I quickly drove over and Jeff met me outside to show me which hoses I needed and how to clean my engine. However, he ended up hosing my engine for me which was very kind of him. It was the quick solution I needed rather than the full blown hour long cleaning that every other place was trying to force on me, and I'm glad Jeff gave me the 5 minute option after hearing my situation. Nice little spot. You have to drive all the way to the back for a car wash/wax/detail etc. The owner is there and is very nice. He got my car in and I had some new "as seen as TV" product to make the plastic parts of the exterior of the car look new. He used it for me and it came out amazing. I'm glad he was willing to work with a product that wasn't one that he tried to sell me. They were super busy and I had to leave my car for over an hour but there is a Starbucks within walking distance so I went and got caught up on emails and enjoyed a drink. So plan time, call in advance for an appointment or the front has the self service spray machines. There was a line for them however. Very limited car washes in this area. read more

The self service bays are well equipped and their price for both self and full services are very competitive. I'm not a big fan of going through computer car wash so this is the spot for me to wash my cars all the time. They have coin machines that take credit card purchase which is very easy and fast, I have never encountered any issue with the credit card machine. Everything is well maintained by the staff member. I really enjoy coming to this place and hand wash my car, I came so many times that I was actually being captured by Google street view. So I was backing out of a spot today and scraped the side of my car on a big pick-up's bumper next to me Ugh. Didn't look terrible, but it was pretty ugly. After leaving a note on the pick-up for the smudge I left on the corner of their bumper (yes, I really left a note), I was contemplating what to do. I tried to get the scrape off, but it was not coming. I Yelped a few detailing places and Detail Plus had good reviews. I called them to see if I could bring it over to see if they felt it was possible to get the scratches out without any bodywork. They told me to just drop by... I met two of the employees there, both super nice young men who were eager to see what they could do. They used a special solution and got the scratches off! It didn't take them long, but they clearly did something that I could not do on my own. I asked how much I owed them and they just smiled and said no-charge. I mean really, when does this happen anymore? Incredible. I asked about a detailing job and they quoted me $200. I think I'll take it over this week to have that done (about a 4 hour process), just because of how nice these guys were. I highly recommend based on my first experience. I really wanted to like this place. After repeated bad experiences at Lozano's, I found these guys right here on Yelp and read mostly good reviews. After calling and scheduling an appointment, I showed up this past Sunday with my dirty af car. After filling out a short form, I was told that my car would be ready in 30-45 minutes and that it would cost me $35 to have it washed. You pay at the end. For $35, my car was definitely clean at the end. However, once I got home, I noticed two things that caught my eye almost immediately. 1) There was, what looked like, excess soap left at the bottom of the driver's door that I guess they didn't notice. 2) Even more paint was scratched off of the roundel emblem on the hood. Stuff like this is irritating as I expect attention-to-detail when I'm paying a good price. This review is not 1 or 2 stars mainly because it wasn't all that bad. The employees were nice and they finished faster than they said they would. My advice, if you're paying them to wash your car, is to pay attention and make sure they do a good job at the end. One forewarning I need to make is this: even though I had scheduled an appointment for their non-DIY car wash, the place was already packed with people washing their own cars first thing in the morning. This is our first detailing experience on our Honda accord with Detail Plus. It turned out to be a great experience and totally satisfying. We were having hard water spots on the hood and tried several ways to remove them but no success. I watched several Youtube videos about removing water spots on cars and followed their ways but it didn't work in the end. It looked like we had to get a detailing service. I called several detailing services to get quotes. When I talked to Brian from Detail Plus at Sunnyvale, his warm welcome and clear communication gave me a good impression. We decided to have our car checked by him and see what he can do. When we met Brian, he explained to us very clearly about what they are going to do, and he assured us that the water spots issue can be fixed. He also checked the car very carefully and recommended doing full exterior detailing service. We put our trust on him and left our car there. About four hours later, when we picked up the car, it looked like a totally brand new car! All water spots are gone. I am very impressed by their professional work. Our car never looked that shiny! You may be curious about how much we paid. The total cost is $225, a very reasonable price for the excellent work. No hidden cost! I would like to call out that it is our great pleasure to work with Brian during the process. He is a very nice person who cares customer's needs and tries his best to bring excellent results. When we picked up the car, we found out that there were several little defect spots on the paint. We bought the in-touch paint from a Honda dealer. Brian helped us to apply the paint on those spots and very carefully checked all the surfaces of the car and made sure he covered everything. He did this service without any extra charge. First time i left my brand new xc90 car for exterior detailing the car was returned with dirt patches on the exterior and wheel wells which means they had not washed the car properly. That was not the only issue, there were sections on the roof and body which had water spots and most off the swirl marks was still visible. The door jams were not touched at all and had water spots. For the advertised car detailing service this was missing all the details. But the manager acknowledged the error and told me that I get the car back for detailing again too make up for the problems in the first pass of detailing. Second time result was nothing different. After the second trip the car still has water spots some scratches, which when I showed to the manager told me that it was the best he can do. I was very disappointed by the state of the car returned for the second time. This place definitely lacks the detailing part of car detailing. Had my SUV in for detail package #2. Extremely professional, finished before the quoted time, my vehicle was gorgeous and damn near immaculate. I've never paid for a full detail so was shocked at the price, but Detail Plus delivered on their service, so I feel this was worth every penny - buffing out scuffs in my paint. Wish they offered a "spray" for scent since even after the internal wash the vehicle still didn't smell "new" again but that's something anyone can fix. It takes about one hour to finish the car wash, which I thought it was too long until I actually saw my car. So I did not wash my car for half of year - because I was too busy/lazy, and when it was done, it was speckle clean, and my BMW turned into a cutie again! I was especially surprised about that the yellow headlight - it was really had to wash and they washed it very well and turned them into transparent color. Also at the beginning I did not know it included inside cleaning/vacuum , but they did, which was an extra surprise to me. I spent little time watching how they washed it, and I saw a supervisor there checking work around, and the supervisor pointed many door area of the Truck to the washer and asked the washer rework - they really took serious attention and effort in it. I recently bought a used 2018 Nissan Rogue from a rental car sales office. The car was pretty gross and I wanted to have it cleaned so it felt new. Detail Plus is right down the street from my house, so I called first thing in the morning, was able to drop the car off at 9:30a and by 3p it was done! I got the winter discount for package 2 (interior, exterior, engine bay) and the car looks fantastic! $300 for a crossover/small SUV, which is more than the posted prices, but it makes sense that they charge more for a bigger car. The paint is smooth to the touch and the interior is so clean! The only downside is that it takes some time for the upholstery conditioners to set in/evaporate, but after a couple days it's all dry! Would definitely recommend. Don't email or contact through Yelp, just call or go in. It is located behind the self serve car wash. read more

Came here after some dumb intern threw up in my car after a company outing. Paid like $200-300. Was pretty steep, but I guess that's to be expected. After getting my car back I noticed throw up near the seatbelt clasps so I had to ask the person to get that spot. Later on, a few weeks later, when I had another passenger, they noticed the seatbelt had throw-up on it. I guess because the kid threw up while the seatbelt was around him, and then the stains retracted back into the slot. Sunnyvale Volkswagen recommends me to take the car here for detailing. I did not take a photo of the dirty back leather seat interior which had gone through various kids' car seats... It was quite dark and dirty, I thought I might have to change the leather all together. So when I picked up my car, I was delighted that they looked clean! Hooray! Jeff the manager pointed out that the headlight glasses needed attention too (see photos). It costed $25 extra for each glass. It was the 1st time gotten cleaned-up in its 14 years. He's the only person who tells me he can brighten it up without me asking. I'm grateful as I did not know what to do about it. I did not find out how long it usually takes for them to detail a car. I could only leave the car for 4 1/2 hours & supposedly they had more than 1 worker working on it, the area carpets were still wet to be completely dried. Can't tell if the car was washed after detailed. Jeff recommends to have cars serviced every 6 months with discounts. If I could coordinate car maintenance with car detailing as they are close by one another, that would be ideal as they are not in the neighborhood.
