Ironically, my venue had Lou on their recommended vendor list, and only after we booked him did they finally admit he was actually their favorite DJ to work with. So what do you get with Lou? You get transparency, professionalism, experience, flexibility, and most importantly, someone who genuinely feels human, not someone trying to nickel-and-dime you or operate like a "wedding business shark." He clearly knows this industry inside and out, and that confidence shows in every interaction. Lou brings an incredible amount of value beyond just music. Between his additional equipment and options, constant communication, self-built website, organization, and overall knowledge, he became so much more than "just the DJ." I jokingly called him my wedding planner at times because I even ran logistics and timeline ideas by him. What stood out most to me, though, was how present he was throughout the night. He checked in on me multiple times, made sure everything was running smoothly, and even sat with my wedding party to share stories, all while remotely managing his setup seamlessly. I'm not exaggerating when I say that once we opened the dance floor during our reception, it was packed for the entirety of the night with excited guests from many generations singing and dancing along to his impeccable set from start to finish. Ben impressed us so much with his attention to detail, responding directly to how our guests reacted to each track, seamlessly transitioning to the next, feeding into the vibe while still surprising us with exciting twists and turns. As emcee for the night, Ben couldn't have been more professional. His announcements were clear, even the difficult names were pronounced perfectly, and every music cue during our cocktail hour, ceremony, cake cutting, and reception was perfectly timed. Ben provided us with very easy-to-follow instructions to help him shape our night. His communication with us was crystal clear; we knew exactly what he needed, and we trusted him to carry it out. We met with him a few times over Zoom in the year leading up to the wedding, and he worked directly with our wedding planner, who recommended him, nailing every detail and request made along the way. I was never once worried or anxious about our decision to work with Ben and Remixologists, as it was very clear he understood exactly what we were looking for, and he was friendly and confident throughout the entire process. Working with Ben was hands down one of our favorite parts of our wedding planning and the event itself.
