Keep in mind their BUSY TIME is Saturday mornings. When my husband went to pick up our order it was ready on time as promised but boy was it a madhouse with people picking up balloon orders & other supplies. The staff was being pulled in a million directions but they were still polite, helpful & a pleasure to deal with. If I'm going to pay a lot for stuff at least make me feel good about it lol & they do just that. I only gave 4 starts because they are overpriced for many things especially plates, cups, etc but if you don't need a specific color/ style you can go around the corner to Walmart.

The store itself seemed to be well-stocked and everything is pretty cheap. I picked a "Happy 21st" birthday balloon and 3 red ones to go with it. I decided to go with the red because my brother and I had an earlier conversation about how his favorite color was red. Anyway, I was instructed to go pay for them and then come back to get them. So, I paid for the balloons, and then I presented the receipt to the girl who was blowing them up and she passed them over to me. Unfortunately, it wasn't until then that I noticed that the balloons looked more PINK than RED. Crap. I should have gotten blue...because light blue is light blue whereas light red = pink. OH well, he'll deal...right? So I get out to the car when my mom calls and says, "Oh! Don't forget "Happy Birthday" napkins!" Argh. So back into the store I go. Now the store has filled up with more people collecting things for NYE parties and the single register that is open has a line of people with a crapton of things. When I finally make it to the front of the line, the manager is standing there also and basically chastising the girl for just about everything. I'm thinking...while the girl does need to be told what not to do, shouldn't they wait until after the customers clear out? It just seemed very unprofessional and really turned me off from ever wanting to return for party supplies. I paid and was on my way. Upon my return home the following conversation ensued: Mom: Uhh, why did you get pink balloons? Me: They're NOT pink, they're RED! Mom: No, they're pink. Dad: You should have gotten blue...PENN STATE blue! Mom: Wait, why didn't you get 2 "Happy 21st" balloons? I said to get 2. (No she didn't.) Brother: Uh, we need more beer. Each bin is clearly labeled with the color of the balloons that're in it. They're labeled because balloons look a certain color before they're inflated, such as black, then when blown up, they lighten and can be purple, or green.. They have a bin labeled Red, and a bin labeled Magenta. It is your own fault that you got pink balloons, because you picked out pink balloons, and not red ones. I know this because this also happened to me. I showed up to pick up my balloons and they were pink. When I explained to the worker that I had wanted red ones, they told me about the labeled bins and then replaced the whole order of five magenta balloons with five red ones instead, apologised for MY mistake, and didn't charge me for the new ones.

Also they have a card section, with bags, and various decor items as well as color themed items for a party. Come September and October they have lots of Halloween Costumes for both kids and adults! Best selection too, as last costume i brought was scooby doo, and Freddy Kruger from nightmare on elm street. Lots of props, and halloween decor then too. Went here recently with my mom on Thursday April 18th 2024 to look for a bag for a wedding shower after looking at nearby dollar tree's shitty bag selection. Store was organized and clean. The bags are by the card section, and they had more of a selection of both small, medium sized, and big bags here at party city. Only thing is that it was $4.00 for one bag. Since we thought it was quite expensive, we decided to leave and check out nearby 5 below. Maybe we'd be back soon though!
