The communication from A Perfect Blend in the year leading up to our wedding was wonderful--any question we had, they answered right away. Their online planning portal was also so incredibly helpful for figuring out exactly what we wanted for music and how the flow of the day would go! And when we finally got to the day, DJ Mario was amazing! He did a perfect job of blending me and my husband's music tastes and playing crowd pleasers that got everyone hyped and on the dance floor. He dropped so many bangers during our first dance set that our Best Man turned to us and said "this playlist is TOO good! I can't sit down!" Mario kept the reception flowing perfectly, and I was THRILLED when he handed me the mic for a little karaoke session. It was truly the most fun I've ever had! A Perfect Blend Entertainment handled the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, as…read morewell as our DJ booth for our June 24, 2023 wedding.  Mario was our head DJ and he was INCREDIBLE.  We met about 8-10 months out from the wedding to discuss our general vision, at which point we secured his services and gained access to our web portal where we were able to start loading content (song choices for each segment of our event, must pays, do not plays, etc) and get started on the general vibe of the party.  Then as we approached the wedding, we had more contact to select our custom photo booth strips (they make you a scrapbook with everyone's photo strips!! how cute!!) and to solidify choices, get the mixes right, and make sure everything is cohesive.   A Perfect Blend is VERY familiar with our venue (FEAST at Round Hill) so they also provided uplighting and were able to mount speakers in the entire venue, making it a fully rounded experience. I'd fully recommend this service if you're looking for a wedding or event DJ - they asked questions we wouldn't have thought of (age group of our guests - suggested where to do the cake cutting to make sure the dance floor didn't empty out, etc), which made our lives easier during this hectic time. 10/10 for sure!!!

I never complained to DJ Wilson about my dissatisfaction because let's be honest the party is done and over with what's the point? I did tell him about the Photo booth which in my opinion was a huge waste of money. The photographer for the photo booth was uninviting, rude and was unapologetic. He clearly did not want to be at a little girl birthday party. We were told that the photo booth package would include a USB card (it did) and a photo book with all the pictures. At the end of the evening when he was packing up he gave me this pathetic photo book. It held 6 pages of photos. I thought no problem, I have the USB card. Sadly when I got home all that was on the USB was 13 photos. What makes no sense is that my book had 20 individual photo's. Still not enough in my opinion for a party that lasted 4 hours. I even questioned the photo booth guy and he said my guest never came over. What??? Here is where the communication was lacking. Common sense, if you are standing there and no one is coming over to the photo booth, wouldn't you have voiced that to either me or the DJ? They could have made more announcements. I shared my dissatisfaction with the next day with DJ Wilson who promised to get to the bottom of this. I never heard back from him. I think the music was okay not great. Again, we can't redo what was done but I would recommend to anyone hiring Future Generations to be specific to your needs. I made assumptions that things would be handled. Also understand what you are receiving. Be specific - don't just list your 20 favorite songs be very specific about which songs you'd expect to hear. If you love 100 songs you better list them. He said list 20 songs then he would play those please others similar. Nope that's not what happened. He played those songs only and some of his own. On the upside DJ Wilson was professional, called us a few times prior to the party, arrived on time and was ready to work. He brought a plasma TV which had pictures of our daughter running throughout the evening. Unfortunately you literally had to stand on the dance floor to see it. Would I recommend Future Generations? No I would not. I think the lack of accountability for the poor service left a bitter taste.

Flavio was awesome…read more We were pretty skeptical on DJs since many of them seem kind of hot-headed like the guy who told us in email that anyone who quoted a lower price "wasn't a professional" (lol wut?). From the minute we started talking with Flavio, it became clear that his style was different. He was more a "fade into the background and make this our party" style. That's not to say that he didn't take on a huge role in coordination of things like the special dances and announcements. Just that he didn't make it his show. The party had a great energy. Would definitely recommend him!

He was so fantastic to work with right off the bat. He responded to all of my e-mails and we even had a few phone conversations. He was extremely reliable. Our venue was a space he had not worked in yet so he met with us a few days before the wedding to get a the lay of the land. On the day of our wedding everything went so smoothly! The hi-light was really the dancing at the end. We wanted a huge dance party and we definitely got it! The lighting was also terrific and fit the space really well. The music was right on point and our guests had a great time! I honestly can't say enough great things about Flavio's services. He did everything asked for and helped us pull-off a PERFECT NIGHT!

We used Back to Back music for our wedding. The pros: they have good voices. They are a DJ/ 2 piece…read moreband. They had all the latest songs. The cons: they didn't have any of the songs we wanted. When we spoke to them a week before the wedding we told them what we wanted. They said they had most of them. On the day of the wedding we wanted to change a few things. DJs these days have access to every song ever made due to the internet. They either didn't have it or couldn't find it. The timeline wasn't follows at all. First dances, father/daughter dad and Stepmother/ daughters, toast, etc. we had to tell them when even though they had a written timeline. The worst of all was that they constantly advertised their service. Not very classy at a wedding.
