I happened on this club by accident. As a live music lover, I stopped in and on that night, I had my own private concert playing just for me. The musicians here are old school with a current flare. The blues and jazz selections made me homesick for Chicago. And you never know who will stop in for an impromptu jam session. Many of the band members have played for years with some of the greatest jazz, blues and R&B artists over the years including Stevie Wonder and Muddy Waters. This club has flown under the radar for about 2 months when they opened and they have applied for a full liquor license, but you can get beer and wine. There's a restaurant next door on the weekends and you can get food. I haven't tried it yet, but the Thursday night that I was there, the wings smelled amazing. The club is quaint and intimate, not very big but the staff is very welcoming and efficient. Tonight, Ricky Williams brought his keyboard and is playing in the posted video. I'm almost not wanting to share my secret club I've found because it may get too crowded. There's a small cover charge, to help support the band, but it's well worth it. read more
