I was going to try them to open my pool. It was owned by Bull before. When we used him he would…read moresend it n people he hired off the streets of Walmart. . Then charge a high price for horrible work. Since it changed hands I thought I would try them again. I scheduled a pool opening They did not tell me you had to pay in full the bill. Before your pool was even open. Most Pool Companies take your card and do not charge it until the day they do it after the pool is opened. When I got the bill in the mail I left a message to have someone call me. On Monday a woman called back and was rude about me asking questions. This company does not even clean your pool when they open it. You have to fill the pool they take the cover off. Throw in chemicals. Turn on the filter and leave. That is sloppy work. I got a guy who cleans it with his big cleaner too. If it is as bad as it was when Bill had it be ware.

We were in a pinch, summer was starting and we were helpless. We were recommended Aaron and Best Buy pools. He came out the next day after we called them. Took care of us and continues to this day. We have a problem I give him a text and it resolved quickly. We keep our hot tub open all year and they continue to service us. Couldn't ask for nicer or better service!

The following is an honest and fair review of Prestige Pools. Prestige installed a Trilogy Atlas…read moreFiberglass pool for our house in 2016. I will start with the strengths: -Brian (salesperson), is AMAZING! Brian has probably heard it all, and has gone to bat for us when needed. Brian also provided terrific insight, and didn't just try to upsell us on things we didn't need. -Quality: after hearing some post installation horror stories, and seeing other pools built, I have no doubt Prestige's work was top of the line (at least for our pool). We have some mystery footprints on the bottom of our pool that appeared during installation, but by the time the project was completed, we were kind of over it. -Water samples: Prestige does a great job of providing water readings. There's been a few times I've gone in for a reading, and the machine has been down, but it's computerized, so just a quirk of technology. Now for the negatives: -Project management is not a strong point for Prestige. We were told our pool would be ready to swim July 4, it was in the ground a July 4, but definitely not swim ready (filtration system wasn't ready, etc), not even close. We never knew if a crew would be out, it was always a mystery trying to find out if they would be on-site for the day. There's lots of moving parts in a pool installation, and Prestige could benefit from having someone on staff with project management experience. -Communication: some people at Prestige are wonderful, others not so much. At one point we had shipping/packaging from pool parts left on the side of our house. Someone at the store tried to blame the packaging on utility companies as there were utility flags near the boxes/trash. The utility flags were from marking lines in the ground. Would I use Prestige again? Probably. Would I ever go through putting in a pool again? Probably not.

Prestige reattached the liner after telling me to empty the pool so they could fill back up. As it filled I called and that there were more wrinkles in the liner than before. I was told that they will straighten out after it fill with the pressure of the water. DID NOT HAPPEN. Again I called they said empty the pool again and they would straighten it out. I have more wrinkles in the liner than ever before. After filling the pool at my cost 3 times and then Prestige tried to charge for all the visit. I ended paying for most of it. They also tried to charge for added to the pool which they did not and I had video proof. I lost most of last summer swim time because of "Prestige" lousy workmanship. I never had a problem with the original liner which was installed by another company that has since closed. I would not be able to recommend this company for any kind of vinyl liner pool replacement. No one with any authority came to visualize my complaints.

We contracted with Outdoor Systems to handle a very large and very expensive backyard renovation…read moreafter installing a new pool in our backyard (pool not installed by Destination Pools but another company). The design was wonderful and drawings made. The crew was very polite and worked hard and we have to give credit to the young man who rebuilt a retaining wall and staircase. It's wonderful. Our problems began when we had to deal with the owner, Dan, first on misplacement of the fence by his crew in our backyard. The Outdoor employee who spoke to us did not, apparently, understand where placement should have been after speaking with my husband and ran a length of it wrong. When we addressed this issue with Dan and pointed out the drawing design and went over the conversation before installing the length of fence, Dan's answer was, "Well, this is my cousin and he is not a liar." Dan, although upset, reinstalled the fence according to the design plan. The job progressed and we received an email from Outdoor that the job was now done and they wanted final payment. We had to send an email listing at least nine items that were not finished and were very obvious. We were also informed by Dan that the sidewalk they had installed along the side of our house would probably break apart near our driveway because they could not secure it properly to the asphalt. It has been a month after completion and final payment. Here is where the problems really start. All of our beautiful beds which we had river rock installed and, supposedly, a high quality weed barrier so they would be nearly maintenance free have large amounts of weeds and grass growing in them. It looks horrible. We have been attempting for weeks to get help with this situation and have received nothing but not kind texts from an employee and no communications from Dan whatsoever. We have invited them on two occasions to come to the house and look at this problem and we get no response and no help. How did so much grass seed from Outdoor seeding the lawn get into the beds? Carelessness. I emailed Megan at their office pictures of the problems and asked for Dan to contact us. She said she would get Dan the information and have him reach out to us. Nothing. Additionally, for the third time, a large boulder which is part of a stair path leading to our pool equipment has become unstable and needs adhering again. It's a safety issue. We will now have to do this ourselves and another of the boulders is breaking. Another very disappointing aspect of this expensive project. There are more problems with the seed mats they used and they needed to be removed. We were told by an employee they would come out and remove them and, again, nothing. We had to do this very laborious task ourselves. The lack of responsibility and ignoring problems of this business when something goes wrong is completely unacceptable and especially after they have received final payment. We now have had to enlist the help of a different company to help fix the mess of these beds. I would not recommend Outdoor Systems whatsoever.
