Really took time to blow out all of my mixed girl curls and pump my thin hair with volume! Previously I was attending M Salon for my services, and Tiffany was great but after being situated with an assistant longer than the actual stylist; I was obliged to look elsewhere in c/o the $$$ I was paying. And upon looking at Derek's portfolio - I was instantly captivated by his visual flair for color and that was my main objective when I went to him. So, when I came back to him - Probably about a year later I had the same goal in mind: straight hair and blonde highlights, but he's an artist... And he will do his best to make sure that you have a vision of yourself that is completely unique to your own style. So, he suggested that perhaps I revert to my natural texture of curls in lieu of flat ironing my hair and damaging it with so much heat and you know, sometimes that's not an easy choice because you feel confident in looking a certain way that media suggests is pretty, but I trusted him and with that he really did help me embrace my natural beauty and with that I've been able to keep up my looks a lot longer because I am not really deviating away from what's been God given to me.
