Expecting people to fit into perfectly pre-matched sets is absurd. What made it worse was the attitude--completely unhelpful and unwilling to even try to find a solution. No flexibility, no customer service, just a hard "no" with zero effort. We walked out without buying anything, and I won't be coming back. It looked amazing on her but just needed one size larger. The Macy's 30% discount automatically added with and optional 25% discount with a Macy's credit card, which we declined - these department stores always try to push this. Anyways, we paid for the dress which will be delivered for free to our residence with a 30 day return policy. Browsed the men's section upstairs which offered all big brand clothing with a very classy dress suit and shoe section. The alteration area for the gowns strangely is located in the men's section. They provide a Price Check kiosk to scan apparel so that you don't need to hunt down an employee for a simple task.

Twenty minutes went by and no assistance could be found, asked employees walking by who quickly dispersed into the colorful fabric displays. Then the white knight emerged by the name of Valerie who was an instant breath of fresh air and took control and assisted me at the fitting area. Tried on many gowns and finally found a winner. When I walked in, I mentioned to the nice sales lady that I had been to their Encinitas / San Diego store and she smiled and said...yes, that's where the business began. I love their sports styles and lines. Many of the items can be had for about $50. Baseball caps can be bought for about $20, some t-shirts for about $30 and the nice (high performance) jackets would set you back about $300.
