For years I've kept many of my good pieces I no longer wear collecting dust in my closet. They were too nice to just give away, and I didn't know where to take them. I recently went in with several of my designer purses and dresses. After a very thorough look over, my items were accepted for sale. Within days my items sold, and I was able to pick up a check! Alyssa and Amanda (two of the sales associates I met that work there) were so friendly and helpful. You won't believe the great prices on the designer purses, shoes and dresses they carry. I went in to drop off my items and did not expect to shop for myself. I wound up purchasing two shirts I've worn several times and absolutely love.

The store is crammed from floor to ceiling with costume jewelry but is arranged by type and color. Best of all it is very inexpensive. Most of it is fake but I did see a few sterling pieces. Based on the tags I saw like the ones from Macy's, it seems to be overstocks. This is the kind of place you want to enjoy exploring with you girlfriend or daughter. If you have that certain outfit that needs the finishing touch, you can find the perfect statement piece inexpensively. The boutique store is a similar store set-up & pricing as the "A Nose for Clothes" boutique store but with better quality clothing & cuter modern styles. They have a beautiful collection of costume jewelry, lovely dresses and blouses. They have everything from casual, to dressy casual, to special event clothing styles. I did notice most of their clothing sizes are on the smaller side but worth checking out for unique pieces.

BIG SCARY POP UP STORE…read more.. These Spirit Halloween stores are popping up everywhere in closed stores in high traffic areas. They dont vary too much by the amount and type of merchandise but they definately vary by management and staff. This one is a free standing pop up store behind the ABC store off Flamingo Rd and Sunrise Blvd opened two weeks ago. This store has very cool full size movie theme characters some that move and some with sounds. Easy to view most of the sections from any position in the store. They have an adult costume section in addition to a large kiddy costume area. I even saw dog costumes - which were funny. Lots of costume accessories and scary home items like light ceramic type skulls for $9.99. Also, plush scary pillows and creepy dolls. They do not carry men's costumes above 1X Large but you can find them on Amazon. Pumpkin carving kits are also available. Friendly staff quick to assist and answered my questions. Fun place to browse or buy.

It's that time of the year again. Halloween!…read more Every year at this time, Spirit Halloween pops up. Upon entering, there were all kinds of interactive scary, but fun animated experiences for every age. Kids were all around them, laughing and enjoying in the Halloween fun. They had a huge variety of Halloween costumes and accessories to complete any character that you would like to be for Halloween. There was no presence of employees walking around to help. If you need help, you'd have to walk to the front where the cashier was located. I picked out a couple costumes to try on and asked the cashier at the front where the dressing room was. To my surprise, there were no dressing rooms. Her response was that you could try it on over your clothes or you can purchase it and bring it back for a refund if you don't like it. To me that's very inconvenient. I might as well order on Amazon, which had basically the same costumes at a lower price. All in all, it was a fun experience, but left with no costumes in hand. I give Spirit Halloween a 3.5 star rating because of the lack of service and no dressing rooms.

If had enough space, I would have scooped up those sweet ceramic vegetable trinket boxes. Everything was actively arranged and clearly priced. Take your time and look closely. There are a lot of cool things to see and prices can be negotiated. The Flip Side has another store in Ft. Lauderdale on Cypress Creek Road in Ft. Lauderdale.
