The young lady that I dealt with on my lens prescription was very informative and gave excellent customer service. The cashier was awesome, very friendly and was chatting with us, very informative also. She checked us out and we left . We went to lunch and I went to look at my invoice and I notices it did not show my vision insurance copays. I called back to the office and spoke with a nice man, named Darrin. He got my info, looked up my account and said they did not have my insurance info in their system, he got what he needed and said he would get with the optical department. I got a call this morning, he told me everything had been entered and yes, I was due a refund and he could credit my card right then if I could give him some info. He ran the card while I was on the phone with him, told me how much everything was and this $$ was my refund back to my card. He apologized for the office's error. I just want to tell the whole office staff and to Darren , Thank You for your Prompt service of correcting this error. The lady at the front desk asked me for my name and phone number to "put me on the schedule." I told her that I was just looking and did not want an appointment. She pressed me further and told me that they wanted to know who is in the building, which seemed odd. So, I gave her my name and phone number. Then, she asked for my birthday. I'm more or less flabbergasted at this point, since the business is located in Orange Park, not Beverly Hills. I told her to just put down 1/1/2020. Another staff member came out to request my birthday because they want to know who is in the building. Good grief, do they have a lot of thefts in that area? I have never had anyone ask for my personal details in order to look at eyeglasses frames.

My sister asked for help picking out hers and even though she was eligible to get transitions, the person that worked with her didn't include them and when we askef to have it fixed they advised there would be a charge even though our vsp plan states if we don't like them we can get a free pair within 30 days. We won't be back.

My main interest was the Essential Blue Series lenses and Cynthia educated me on Pearle's offerings and hooked me up with an amazing pair of glasses! I am reporting a retail error at the Orange Park FL store 1911 Wells Rd. My store receipt shows I…read morepaid for Ray-Ban color code 2890, but the store handed me color code 2620. The store is refusing to correct their inventory error. I need corporate to intervene, contact the store manager, and authorize a frame swap. This is my last resort I have tried to resolve this with the store optical manager and regional manager with no resolution. They basically told me to take it or leave it or request a refund. But if I get a refund of course they say I need to return the glasses. Of course I see fine with them but the color is completely incorrect. I got a gunmetal color and I should have gotten a black and gold frame. This whole process I've had an issue. I originally placed my order and after 4 weeks and constant calls to the store I never got my first order and later said they lost it. I was told initially two weeks. They sent my order to Ray Ban directly and it took an additional two weeks to finally get my glasses. When I did finally get them as stated above the color was wrong as they tried to insist this was the color I ordered. My receipt I'm looking at right now says otherwise. Also the lady that answers calls and works the front desk is extremely rude and unprofessional and it my opinion ignorant. She doesn't know how to talk or deal with people. My wife and my 11 yr old daughter and 14 yr old son got the same treatment and they said the same thing. The reason for this review is I'll call customer service they have no answers. I went higher and called and emailed corporate. I doubt I'll get any follow-up. My last step really is to file a formal complaint with the Attorney General. Will that take a longer time? Probably but at this point I've followed every other avenue. I wouldn't recommend this store or really Pearle Vision to anyone

I've had two appointments here. The first was to get a new prescription. And it was the usual…read moreappointment. They were on time, did the usual tests and I saw the doctor within minutes. She said she wanted me to return for another test. Whole thing took about 30 minutes more or less what I'm used to. So we arrived today at our appointment time. It was 30 minutes to be seen for the first tests, one for my peripheral vision. Then they tested my eye pressure and vision and sent me back to the waiting room to see the optometrist. And I'm still waiting. It's been 35 minutes. By the time I see the optometrist it will have been a two hour appointment which, I can most certainly say, is the longest appointment I've ever had at an optometrist in 62 years of wearing glasses. And I'm still not sure why I'm here. I'd understand if I had some kind of eye disease or process that requires extensive testing. But this? As I said I'm still not sure why I am here. So once I'm seen it's the last time I'll come here. Don't get me wrong. The staff are nice and professional. But this is a ridiculous wait for an ordinary appointment. You'd think I was at the ER.

It seemed a bit disorganized and the staff were flustered over a patient record being misplaced, causing someone to be there an extra hour... Never have I had an exam take this long from start to finish; I spent a lot of time sitting waiting to see the DR. This is all after my appt was rescheduled two days prior - they say they called me and left a message, but I have no missed calls or messages from them. I would make sure that if you come here, make sure you plan a little extra time.

He is truly trying to make things right but I did not change my review immediately. I wanted to make sure that they were actually making these changes at the employee level, not just talking about them. I've seen some better courtesy from their employees and I think some of my concerns have been addressed. Not sure I'd say they are four or five starts yet, but they are better and maybe will get there if they continue to work to change their culture a bit. Worth a look if you need eyeglasses and can afford a higher price for better service than the big box stores, or if you have insurance they take here.
