Workers are so insanely fast so you'd assume the service would be low quality but that's the complete opposite. I used to come here as a child and grew up and started going with a high end barber and paying $50+ and at some point a haircut every 20 weeks and spending 250 a month is crazy and I have received the exact same haircut from these woman that I was paying 4 times as much. This business is really good at what they do that I've even had a few of my friends even start coming here as well as family again and price is extremely reasonable. 10/10 would highly recommend! read more

The only one who's normal here is the young man , everyone else is so rude, especially the woman with a short hair. And she's short older lady, it's always I grew to my kids every time I come here, she always tells my to sit down. And my daughter is 17 years old. Today, she actually told my to get up and sit somewhere else. For no reason. Other times she tells us to hurry up and leave after our haircuts are done. She's constantly staring at us during the haircuts. We wanted to wash our hands and she said, hurry up and go read more

Designer Cuts - This is the lady she is very bizarre and has an issue about everything - Hair Salons Near Me - Bay Point, California

I went to this shop for a haircut, and the barber was very rude and careless. He didn't listen to what I asked for and ruined my curls. He cut only one side and left the other side uneven. When I asked him to fix it, he said, "It's fine like that," and didn't care at all. I will never go to this shop again, and I don't recommend it to anyone. If you're going for a vacation or party and want to look good, don't come here. They will mess up your hairstyle. read more

Came recently to get haircut to get ride of my dead ends, The lady didn't take her time and rushed through it, she also left it uneven when i asked to leave it straight. i ask her if she could do curtain bangs and she could have said no but she proceeded to do it and fuck up my bangs. now i have to go to another salon to get them fix, then she had the audacity to ask for a tip, not recommended for any type of bangs read more

Today is November 8. I walked in at about 130. I called them prior to driving here from Walnut Creek. They said that they could do a die and a cut I arrived and they pretty much told me to go to another place rudely the person that did my hair last time when I came wasn't in and one of the hairdressers tried to contact her and another employee snatched the phone out of her hand and pretty much told her no, and they kicked me out of the store saying that I should ask the people at the Next-door salon called beauty supply salon! The level of rudeness that I was met with was something I have never been dealt with before. It was the Asian woman with the short blonde hair with a high the male that is bald and the woman who attempted to call the lady who worked with me last time Was a brunette. I have no bad things to say about her as she was trying to help me out the salon obviously does not have any customer service skills. They should not even be in service. I will never recommend this place to anybody if I could sit outside this salon twice a week with picket signs I probably would, but I don't have time for all that! I apologize to the woman who did work on my hair the original time, but I will no longer be coming here or telling anybody about this place. I will be however, promoting the next-door salon as they were super helpful and at least try to understand what I was trying to explain to them I hope you guys learn some better customer service because if you guys keep on going this way your service , your business, will probably be shut down very soon read more

I really like this place for fast and cheap service. You never have to wait in line more than 5 minutes. Simple haircuts cost $10 and take maximum 10 minutes. Of course it's not super fancy barbershop, but they can give you a really good haircut for $10. If you're looking for fast service - this is your place. read more

Took my wife here to get her hair layered. The woman was argumentative and talked sh*t in Vietnamese. I understood it what she was saying. Then she gave up on finishing the cut. read more

Rushed hair, stressed out employees when they don't need too. The place wasnt busy when i came in. I asked for baylayage and they don't know what I was referring too. I asked for side bangs and they have me weird sideways bangs from early 2000 instead. The woman who cut my hair won't even let me show a picture for my bangs. I shouldn't know more about hair and fashion compares to people who cut hair for a living. I didn't even give a tip. read more

Excellent haircut!! I got a fade and they did it well! It was fast and the price for mens haircut was awesome! $12 plus $1 if your paying with debit card. If you pay cash it's only $12. Ask for a shampoo so you can get all the excess hair off of you. $5 extra. I'm going to work right away so the shampoo is worth it! Come check it out! It's worth it! read more

this place do not care your hair, your tips nor your requests on how you want your hair done. I normally dont write reviews but after they cut my bang again and again after I SPECIFICALLY told them KEEP THE BANG I've had enough. if this was the last barbershop on earth I will grow my hair out to a caveman and STILL won't come here for a free haircut ever again. screw this place. I hope you all go out of business. read more

They'll push your hairline back and leave many guidelines, terrible service I don't recommend it

Avoid the lady with a short hair! She's really dismissive and doesn't listen to your request. Tried to tell her twice not to put the "midline" in the center coz i have a wide forehead and requested for a side bangs but did not listen. She did this to me last time and gave her second chance today but nope! Still doesn't listen and is very rude! read more

The worst place to go for any spa service. Unbelievably rude and rushed. They talk in their language and it was so uncomfortable. DO NOT GO.

If I could give them one star I would. I took my son for a haircut and while I was trying to explain to her how I wanted the cut said I know, I know. The lady was very dismissive and to top it off she asked if I wanted her to line him up, I said yes because he already had a line up from a previous haircut (not at designer cuts) and I thought she would just follow the same line... OMG.. It was horrible!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FO ANYONE AT ALL.. there is a location a couple doors down they seem much nicer. read more

NOPE don't even come in , walked in and sat down and there was a Lady on the phone that told me to wait for the other lady WHILE SHE WAS TALKING on the phone , I can sense bad vibes right way . Bad vibes don't come here. read more

i first walked in and they had no sense if welcoming customers, they had favoritism because how i arrived first and they let the person that came after me go first. the girl with the shirt hair is rough and rushful when cutting your hair if there was a 0 star i would do it. never again. read more

Came in hear for the first time thanks to my mom's recommendation. They were busy when we arrived, and they were understaffed. BUT the people were nice and they greeted us. I didn't like the wait time. We must have waited about thirty minutes. Then again, like I said, they were understaffed and had only two people cutting hair. I knew what I wanted to get. I told the woman who was gonna get my hair. She was nice and she even suggested how short I should get my hair. Now she was quick. She was no-nonsense and she got the job done. But it wasn't rushed! I looked at the end product and was impressed! read more

Horrible service. Charge my son $12, and totally overcharged my daughter $ 27 for long hair. Her hair is only shoulder length.

DON'T GO HERE! Shady place! First and last time I will go here. The window says $10 dollar haircuts. When you go inside there is a sign on the desk that says $12 dollar haircuts. Then when you pay with your credit card you are charged $13. What a f'd up way to run your business. The haircut wasn't even that good. Never going back. read more

What makes the owner's daughter think it is ok to have ear buds in her ears and talk to someone on the phone the whole entire time she was cutting my hair? I asked for layers but got none. The haircut in general was ok but not what I asked for. The color was lighter than I wanted, she tried to tell me it was my natural color. I have been here many times out of convenience for just a haircut but will never go back again. read more

Extremely affordable & 1 stop to get my haircut, manicure & pedicure. I go to just 1 person & she does a fantastic job. If you are going to this place & paying $10 for a haircut, don't expect oodles of customer service or them to offer you a bottle of cold water. They are friendly, convenient affordable. read more

This place is fine for a basic haircut or getting your nails done. I really wanted nail art, but they acted like they didn't want to do it, then they said they could draw a flower, but that was it. They said they didn't have the paint colors, but the colors were clearly displayed on the wall. So I was disappointed that not only did they only put 1 coat of polish on my nails, but no nail art, & I already chipped the paint. At least the place was cheap & my nails look better now than when I walked it. read more

I walk in for a haircut never been to this place but i live in the area, they hurry me to a seat and ask what I want, didn't get exactly what I wanted & she took like less than 10 minutes to cut my hair & rushed me out, by the look of my hair I would say to never come here for anything other than directions to somewhere else.. It won't let me give them 0 stars.. read more

I've been going here for 3 years never had any issues for a $10 hair cut. Guys can relate. In and out what's the big deal it's a $10 haircut? Every stylist that I've had the pleasure of getting a hair cut was not perfect but worth the value. Recommend for a cheap haircut for Guys! read more

Friendly every time I've been in. Usually a Man and Woman working. The guy cuts men's hair well. Just make sure you give details on what you are looking for. Over all great place to get a hair cut for a reasonable price. read more

They don't know how much to charge you for a haircut, The door says $10 haircuts but once inside the prices are different. Anthony charges $12 and the First Lady in the front charges $15. Went in this morning to cut my son's & my hair, we had to go back so they can fix it. read more

I stop in here all the time for a quick fade. Barber in the city is too busy and by appointments with my work schedule it's to crazy. Service is great as soon as you walk on they attend you or get someone to help you out. The lady's that get pedicures nails an waxes are attended really fast Kim is really good at getting it done. Prices are good too ever in the area stop by. read more

AVOID! Their customer service deserves less than one star. I was a regular customer that got a decent haircut every month here so I thought I'd bring my mother here so she could get a pedicure done. They were not thankful at all that I brought them more business. As we went to pay for both a mens haircut and woman's pedicure, they refused to give me another stamp on the free haircut for men's card. They could clearly see that I have been there before as I already have collected stamps previously. Even with the pedicure that cost 3 times more than a men's haircut, another scheduled appointment for a woman's haircut for next week, and a 5 dollar tip, they still held their ground and wouldn't give me another stamp after all the money spent there. To me, that was like a slap to the face. We ended up canceling the appointment next week and told them they lost a customer and our business for good. Still the guy there smiled like he didn't care. That is not a good business practice as they rather choose to burn their regular customers. I recommend to avoid this place at all cost. read more

The people at this salon really only care about is money they will rush and do a horrible job so they can get the next person in the chair I have never gone back to this place and never will. read more

Definitely not the place to go for friendly service or kids cuts! As we walked in the door we were greeted with a stiff what do you want (not even a hello) when I replied a hair cut for my son she said I ready now come on. She didn't even acknowledge my son nor make him feel comfortable in any way shape or form. Not only that I had to tell her what we wanted because she didn't even ask! As she was cutting my sons hair she nicked him behind the ear and didn't even say sorry or ask if he was ok and to top it off, the cut was pretty pathetic for a so called professional. There was even an older gentleman in the chair next to us attempting to make small talk with the guy cutting his hair and all he got were short almost robotic like responses. And when the gentleman realized that it was pretty much a one sided conversation he just stopped trying. All in all it was a horrible first experience for my son and I, and I wouldn't recommend nor return. But if you like piss poor service and rude impersonal attitude then this is the place for you. read more

I would advise anyone to go to designer cuts hair salon to get a pedicure Asian the lady they are very poor with customer service

This place is ridiculous!!! My husband went in and got his hair cut, the man who cut it made him look hilarious so I had him go back in the next day to get it fixed. The people who were working thru a fit and The man who actually cut his hair lied to our face and said he didn't cut my husbands hair. All in all they fixed his hair, yelled at us, and charged us 10 bucks. They forever lost us as costumers. Do not go to this place. read more

If I could give a -5 stars I will. I am having a hard time finding the words to describe the terrible experience that I just had with business. My wife needed to have a simple hair washed, and blow dry. First she was met by Kim, who I assumed is the owner of the business, the attitude she had was much less than welcoming. After a brief explanation of what my wife wanted/needed she proceed to performed the work for which she was sought out for. When I saw my wife I couldn't believe the quality of the work that I was looking at. Her hair looked it was handled by a toddler who was using a garden blower. OMG I can't believe that we actually paid for this horrendous service. When trying to explain Kim that her work was much less than acceptable, her reply was: it because you have too much hair. "Are you kidding me?" since when the quantity of hair leads to a horrendous service experience?. Never Again will I come to this place and if you are thinking about going there be prepare for the worst experience of your life. read more

I just come here for average to below average haircuts cuz there open on Sunday. Anthony is okay at fades. No one in here conversates with you. There all about business getting you out asap! $10 for a haircut can't beat that! Don't expect too much for the price. I'll continue to keep coming here for the convenience. Usually when I get home I gotta look everything over and trim a few missed spots. read more

I have been getting my hair cut here for years. They do a fine job for a fair price, and have always been friendly and courteous.
