A lot of the items are priced as if they were brand new, which defeats the purpose of shopping at a thrift store. Since this is a senior thrift store, I feel like items should be priced to actually sell. Moving more inventory would encourage people to come back, and it seems like that would do more to support the seniors than having items sit on the shelves because they're overpriced. On top of that, the worker at the front had an attitude, which made the experience feel unwelcoming and left me not wanting to come back. I really hope the pricing and customer service improve because I'd like to support the cause.

This odd little shop consists of a small house and an outdoor tent area. The front room is more what I'd call gifts and collectibles: costume jewelry, cheap toys, and novelty items (like those plastic plant beads that you're supposed to use instead of potting soil). The back rooms have more thrift-store-type used stuff: a couple of small racks of coats and clothing, but mostly old VHS tapes, books, and music. They do have a fair amount of $1 books, but many are old and dated without exactly being vintage/antique. The employee was intently watching the end of a movie when we walked in and didn't bother to greet us, but later got into a heated discussion with another customer about the type of engine on a used car the customer was trying to get the owner to buy, or something. The shop is so small that you can't escape anyone's conversation, so... it was pretty awkward. I guess this is a thrift shop in the sense that there are inexpensive used items for sale, but it appear to be a privately owned place and makes no mention of any proceeds going to a charitable cause. If you really want to thrift on the peninsula, I suggest you keep on going to Port Townsend, which at least has a Goodwill.

Don't know how decisions are made about what they put in the store, but however these decisions are made, they're good decisions :) Not overwhelmed with junk that calls itself "antique". And there's nothing here that's torn, stained or just past it. Prices fair, and sometimes surprisingly good! Stuff changes out regularly. I've bought big and small things here, spent between $500 and $5. Everything I have found here is just cool. The only problem is that Billie Jo can never remember my NAME! ;)

There are so many things to look at, I could be there for hours. They now even carry a line of handbags and clothing, that somehow blends in perfectly with the feel of the shop. AND they have a Seahawks section! If there weren't enough reasons to come here, there is also an adorable spa in the back where you can get your eyebrows waxed or get a facial. Every time I go in, there are new displays to look at and fun new things to find. This is a must see on your Vintage shopping trips!

The back rooms had what I look at as apothecary chest- tons of little drawers, if you can picture it. Except they had several of them and every drawer was filled with different jewelry findings! Beads, clasps, bails- you name it. At the front of the store were a bunch of felt hats that were also incredible. We were greeted when we entered and checked on a couple of times- I really enjoyed this shop. I was very, very tempted to buy myself one of their gorgeous semi-precious gemstone necklaces.
