November and December are my favorite months to shop here when this store is decked out with fully decorated holiday trees, seasonal decor items and gift suggestions. The jewelry and crafts from local artists are terrific to browse through too. Unique soaps, candles and delicate string lights grab my attention and my wallet! On Nov 6th, they had their annual holiday night out. The first 100 guests were treated to a free ice cream topped churro and dirty sodas from food trucks outside the back of the store. It has tall, north-facing windows, so plenty of sunlight during the day with little direct sun. It didn't take her long to come up with a sort of light beige color with a mocha carpet combination. That didn't sound like great colors to me (we were thinking more colorful, etc.), however she promised it would be just right for workshops. She was right. Once I painted and put the carpet in, it had a very calming influence without reducing energy. It's been perfect for our workshops and other meetings. We added a little splash, at her suggestion, with some furniture. If you are doing any kind of project that requires color selection, hire Chris! You'll be so glad that you did.
