Kyle at Capital Mark was fantastic to work with. We were just going to install granite counter tops…read morebut after Kyle came to our home he suggested new cabinets and are we glad he did. What a difference! Kyle walked us through the entire process and explained everything, made some suggestions such as sliders in the cabinets. The install went surprisingly easy with no major problems at all, in fact the only problems was some of the cabinet doors had woodgrain that didn't look good. Kyle came over and immediately order replacements and that was that. My wife wanted to add extra sliders when job was almost complete and it was no problem. The installers were John and his son Jason and they were excellent, very nice and personable. Their work is second to none. They were always on time and at the end of each day they completely cleaned up the work areas. I've had experiences on other projects in the past and with out a doubt this was the BEST. We will be using them for our bathroom remodel next year.

Hired Golden Bear to remodel master bath and second bathroom in March 2020. I gave it 5 stars so…read moreyou can read about my experience and who this guy really is. You decide. Mike and his partner did all the tile work, plumbing, electrical and some touchup painting themselves, no subcontractors - with the exception of the glass shower wall/doors, which everyone subcontracts. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome. They were very easy to work with, which is why I hired them. On several occasions Michael saved me from my bad ideas. But there were issues around the finishing details. I had to go over the work and point out with stick notes many finishing details like at the base of the cabinets, grout cleanup in corners and rough finishing edges. Overall in the end the master bath came out great. But in the second bath the amount of grout clean up issues were extensive. For some reason they decided to change the color of the grout without my consent and it looked terrible. I was told the color would change after it dries. Well the grout color did not change when it dried, the color they used what not what I selected. Michael stop taking my calls after he admitted they used the wrong color and said they would come back and fix it. I had to hire a tile company to change the color of the grout. I do recommend that Michael hire someone to do the finishing work he does not like doing. Would I hire him again or recommend him - NO.

He didn't try to upsell or act too fake or flattering like some of the salespeople at other companies do. We communicated mostly over email with Jeana, who was kind and responsive as well. The install went very smoothly and only took an hour or so. My only downside was that it took about a week longer than we were told to have it completed, and I had to reach out via email a few times to get updates instead of being updated. But Joe listened to my feedback and told me how the process works waiting for materials. I also sent them photos of some marks on the counter I thought I saw, and they sent someone out to clean and buff it and make it like new again. The paperwork and payment were all online so it was very easy to do. Overall a smooth process and good work done.
