They gave me three designs for my web page within a few days even though I told them that I didn't need anything for a week. Two incorporated my ideas and the third was their design entirely. DesignSpinners produced a coffee-table book with photos and a writeup of an important event for us. DS was a great partner throughout the project with creative suggestions, artful placements and helpful editing suggestions. The completed product is a beautiful hardbound book that we are proud to display in our living room. The project cost was quite nominal for an end product that will continue to give us pleasure over the years. All in all, DesignSpinners was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend them for any creative project! read more

It was a pretty simple document: a bi-fold document laid out on 8.5" x 11" paper in landscape mode. I ran a sample test on my home printer and knew right away that I wanted it professionally finished. But still, I was a bit unsure about the specifics of how to do it and where to go. So I contacted J-N-K and they really took the time to help me by educating me on the process. When I came into see what type of paper stock run the job on, I took the owner's recommendation and it came out beautiful. The turnaround was quick, too. Both the customer service and the quality of the print job are excellent. If I ever need help with another project, this is my go to print shop, hands down!

I reached out on Yelp because this business came up when searching for photo printing services but was very disappointed with the quality. This business doesn't seem to have experience with printing regular photos in standard photo sizes, and I wish they just refused to take my order instead of wasting my time & money. For context, I was shown proofs before printing and several of the photos were distorted to fit the dimensions of the print. When I asked if they could just crop it to avoid the distortion, they seemed to struggle to figure out how to do that. I was there for a total of 45 minutes, and I ended up with only 4 or 5 prints because they did not know how to fix the issue. Granted the prints came out well, but I probably spent double or triple the price for what I would've gotten at a FedEx without the convenience or speed. I honestly should've just walked away but didn't want to walk out empty handed for the time I spent waiting. Now I regret paying full price for subpar service and a disappointingly incomplete order.

I had a hand-drawn shield-style logo from a client. There was no digital file to work with and I needed one to use on a new website and other web and print collateral. I contacted Design Spinners and had a very tight deadline to meet. They responded quickly, accepted the job and completed the work in a most timely and professional manner. The end product was fantastic, I could not have asked for more. They used Basecamp to help manage the project and their communication with me - excellent. Having a go-to creative team is something that is attractive (and has been lacking) for my business. Finding a source that is reliable, produces high-quality work and with professional communication has been a challenge. I feel I really got my money's worth with their creative and technical expertise. They use a brilliant software program that organizes and documents the creative process in a way that at every point makes it easy to see what has been done in real time and what's upcoming as well. Their accessibility and patience with my ideas & changes was exemplary of the way I like to do business. Always a "can do" attitude from Vani & Anna and I never experienced any impatience or resistance to any of the numerous ideas I had during the process. On target, on budget. Design Spinners created a great website for our inspection business about a year ago. Since then I've had a few questions that were answered immediately. But today I found out that DS is much more than just a web designer. The web host (NOT DS) upgraded over a week ago and did not tell us. We found out today that our web site had disappeared the day they upgraded. While our inspector was on the phone (loudly) with the webhost trying to find out what happened I emailed Vani, who called me immediately and assured me she would find out what had happened. Luckily the host corrected the problem and we were up and running shortly. The point is Vani's assurance and the fact that they had our site complete backed up and saved my sanity. What a scam ! saw her ad that said 'Local" on Craigslist but then she admitted that she works out of her apartment in Los Angeles by herself. so there is quite a bit of dishonesty going on here. Then I find out the designs are done in India ! Luckily we had not paid her the deposit yet ! When I checked Craigslist again to show my partner her ad, about 70 ads showed up ... she is a spammer ! This is the type person that destroyed Craigslist - Craigslist used to be so good until people without talent desperately began spamming - now it is broken - the web is getting broken from these unethical people ruing our email & all. read more

Our new Vape shop contacted Designspinners & soon realized that something fishy was going on. This nervous person kept ducking our questions. I asked my Exec how she found this firm & she said CList. I checked Craigslist & noticed 80 ads spammed in one day our San Diego CList ! ( count them )Kinda unethical since the address is in L.A. ! ! So I checked the Yelp reviews & noticed that the ads were worded / written by the same person - same style, ha Expertise at Spamming Yelp also, OMG GREEDY SELFISH people destroy the purpose of Craigs list & undermine Yelp. Wow, I really wish I'd had a better experience with this design firm. They did a great job with a logo, but then we worked together to create a website. The website looks great from the outside, but there are many holes in the background and things left undone. My site published in July and just now I'm discovering another thing left undone on their end. As a non-profit founder, I was extremely disappointed with the amount of effort and care put into this project for my money and I would not recommend working with Design Spinners, sadly. read more

This girl is in Los Angeles and her advertising is packed full of lies, she says she is in San Diego, the websites are done in India, she couldn't provide more than one valid reference, she spams craigslist with 50 ads a day - very unethical & desperate. Be careful giving a deposit up front because she tried to get me to send a payment before any work was done ! read more
