Fast forward from my last review and I was attempting to get the part so I stopped into the store to check on my order. I waited ten minutes for him to pull up his part order log which is a spiral notebook. He couldn't find my order anywhere - even though I have called four times and have been there once. I left my phone number for him to "research" the issue. He NEVER called me back and this is the second time this happened. Seriously if you don't have your faculties together then it's time to hang up the saddle and retire. Your real estate is worth tons of money - sell the place vs. keeping hours of 8:30 to 5pm with no weekend hours. I ended up ordering the part on-line for cheaper and no hassle of being worried as well because the owner wasn't wearing a mask.

And then when I fumbled to described what i came to know as drum supports, he very politely asked follow up questions until we came to the part in question. This place is a Bay View historical site and it will be a very sad day if it ever goes away. I want to thank the man behind the counter. You carry yourself as a man who know what he is doing, and you left a lasting impression even just for a man fixing his dryer. You are providing a service that is in very short supply and your prices are comparable to those found online. I will pay an extra buck to have someone look me in the eyes and tell me this is the correct part. Thank you sir, you made my to-do list go much quicker today.

When the tran was totaled, it was $50.00 higher then the ad price. The sales clerk could not figure it out and called another sales clerk for assistance. She as well could not figure it out and another salesman was called over. He seemed so disinterested that he just walked away. I decided to go to Ace Hardware and was in and out in less then 2 minutes at the same sales price. No manager to be found and lack of training made this a poor experience.

After not hearing anything for 2 weeks I called, they could order it. Again, nothing for 2 weeks, called again spoke to Lorelli the manager, it was ordered but then canceled as they will require payment for shock prior to ordering. Fine charged my credit card 2-11-2026, NO part received by 2-27-2026. What's the hold up? Oh, it will be shipped with a bulk pallet order from the MN store to the Brookfield store not sure how long that will take. NO, you ship it to Brookfield store, I already paid for the new shock on my credit card bill. Part shipped 3-19-2026 Fed X. I called 3-27-2026 MN store spoke to Dave P and he was aware of shock order being shipped and would call Brookfield manager Lorelli. 2 hours later manager calls stating OH it just arrived 5 minutes ago. It doesn't take 10 plus days for a ground shipment from MN to WI. Between manager and I we setup to have new shock put on 4-1-2026. My husband took chair in and Lorelli couldn't guarantee it would be fixed timely as no staff to fix it, and it would take 3-4 hours to fix. Manager claimed it takes 2 people to replace a shock. Why did we make arrangement for it to be fixed 4-1-2026, when we spoke 3-27-2026. We looked it up online and only 1 person is required or replace shock. I went and picked up chair and new shock, came home and in less than 10 minutes the new shock was on the chair and working good. The manager and owner are very lax with customer service on repairs and educate. A manager in my opinion should be able to handle easy repairs like this, which is not the case. I will NEVER EVER purchase anything from this store again. The manager is full of excuses, upon excuses, owner is not customer friendly. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!! RATING SHOULD BE NEGATIVE 10

Joe Medinger was informative regarding different brands and models. He put gas and oil in the machine I bought, gave me a brief lesson on how to operate and even loaded it into the bed of my truck. And 30 minutes after walking into Medingers, I was clearing off my driveway. I did not receive any of the poor service the other Yelpers did. In fact, the previous reviews almost kept me away. But I'm a supporter of local businesses. I'm I sure glad I gave them a chance. You should too!

I bought a speed queen washer from Richmond appliance. The whole transaction was done over the…read morephone. I didn't even have to go to the store. They delivered the washer I wanted and set it up and they were more reasonable than Colders. The Speed Queen washer is wonderful and is designed to last 25 years. The people that delivered and installed it did a great job. Like I said, their price was more reasonable than another major supplier of speed queen washers. I've had LG and GE Washers. They were junk. Our previous washer was a GE front loader. It was seven years old and it needed a new drum which was no longer available. Had it been available? It would've been a $1200 repair. The speed screen comes with a great warranty and as I said it is designed to last 25 years. So go to Ritzman appliance in Hales Corners and buy a speed queen. Or better yet, call them and order it over the phone and they will deliver it without you ever visiting the store.

I have a relative that was currently diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing Chemo and Radiation and I wanted this person to be comfortable. My relative could not sleep in the bed. And I contacted the store immediately. I was told that they would pick it up after 2 nights and I be charged a 25% restocking fee which was agreed upon. Next thing I know after, I was getting the bunk bed delivery last night and noticed that this was a scam! The bed was what I described earlier and after informing the 'owner' of this, he decided then not to go with what was agreed upon earlier that afternoon. I felt deceived immediately. It is very unfortunate that the 'owner' knew to look for bad reviews immediately. I was the second person to even write something. When I came in the store today to receive a refund for the bunk bed set I returned, he informed me that the 'owner' decided to not take the 1st bed back and did not give me refund yet on the bunk bed set. I was told to come back for my refund. This owner he speaks of was not in sight according to the person writing this review. This alone shows the deceit involved with this business and the person running it. What a shame!!! This is a warning to consumers to steer clear of this business or experience the same or worse.
