Although my daughter had her "eye screening" at the pediatrician, I was glad that I brought her to a proper optometrist, as they uncovered she has a Lazy eye & that at 8-9 years old...we are getting to the point...of not being able to do a good job correcting it. I am thankful that I went there & they are so thorough. They are kid & animal friendly..and their down to earth...but their serious approach is very refreshing...I told them I used to work for eye docs & we chatted a bit about my eye doc days..overall very happy & pleased across the board. Kassandra was so patient & encouraging with my daughter to help her with contact lens training. She made her feel comfortable! My father in law is an old school farmer who does not like doctors at all, we navigated cataract surgery and all the pre-visits & after care over the course of 3 months front to back & he is at 20/20 after 40 years of glasses! My husband has his dad's eyes & also, needs safety for work with Rx in it.Over all from front to back - they have taken excellent care of my family & I have brought 3 friends & their kids here & they too are happy! The parking is more convenient at the Hopewell location, but God help you if you want your records transferred there from their Lambertville location. My wife asked to do that, and Tatiana lectured her about changing locations. Tatiana asked who the primary insured was, and my wife responded it was me and told her that I was also a patient in their Lambertville office. That led Tatiana to go on a rant about how we should not keep changing from one office to the other when in actuality, we did no such thing. She just completely went off on that tangent and caused the conversation to become heated, which ended when she hung up on my wife. She also lied to my wife about being the only person in the office when my asked to speak to someone else. I found out when I called back that there were two other administrative people there. Also, once, they had an intern perform my entire eye exam and as a result, I was fitted me with an incorrect prescription. It wasn't until I brought in my old glasses after many visits to correct this that they discovered their mistake. They tried to blame me anyway, saying that I had indicated that I preferred that incorrect prescription.

Stephanie also gaslit me when I told her that she was giving me contradictory information to Dr. Biscardi, to which she kept saying, "I'm just looking at what's on the paper." I went to see a much, much more affordable and accessible doctor, who immediately got me started on vision therapy, saying I needed that to strengthen my eyes, something Dr. Biscardi didn't bring up until I asked about it. Most frustratingly, they are completely ignoring my and my new doctor's attempts to get my prescription. This is illegal. I'm only leaving this review because my friend had to leave a review to finally get their attention after they were being ignored. I just want my prescription so I can continue to get the care I need.

I was greeted by Amber to start, super friendly and overall very welcoming. It was a bonus that she explained and enforced, kindly and politely, Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions to ensure we were all kept safe and healthy throughout my visit. My actual exam with Dr. Ochsenreither was educational and overall extremely beneficial and pleasant. He really seems to be passionate about his career, and takes the time to get to know you personally throughout your visit. As a result of my exam, I ended up needing a script for an astigmatism; therefore needed to pick out some frames. I am the most indecisive person ever when it comes to deciding on anything "fashionable," but Dana and Paige were so incredibly patient with me and extremely helpful (not to mention fun!). I'm telling you, I made 3 trips back before I could make a decision (they had so many options!) and these gals made me feel at home each time, letting me model (with a mask on of course) in the mirrors for as long as needed. Amber even worked with Dana and Paige to go the extra mile and order me additional frames without my knowing, in anticipation I still wasn't quite ready to make my decision. I was given fluoroquinolones (Cipro and Levaquin) IV. By day 3 I could not see. Everything was blurry. It did not go away. I decided to see Dr. Boname because she was nearby where I was hospitalized. I liked her immediately because she did not try to defend the medical system the way many practitioners do even when they've clearly erred. She said those kinds of fluoroquinolone antibiotics damage the retina. You'll need glasses now. Any time I have met with her or been cared for by her, I have felt that I'm being cared for by family that has a special interest in me. She doesn't just care about the two eyes in our face because she knows many serious conditions show up in the eyes first....diabetes, cardiovascular disease etc. She knows there are no fences in the body and the body is a whole system that works synergistically together. She takes into consideration genetics and their support, what I consider the "laser approach" to personalized medicine. I know I will get the best care from here which is why I have driven from Rhode Island to her office outside of Princeton, NJ for many years.

I am thankful not only for her care for me but as well as my Dad when he needed cataract surgery. Ben - who runs the eyeglass/contact side of the business - is one of the nicest, knowledgeable professionals I have met. He provides quality frames and lenses. He provides clear information about lenses and has a good eye in picking frames to suit your face. I am a bit clumsy and needed frequent adjustment to my frames - to the point I felt guilty coming In so often- but am always reassured it is no problem and come back anytime. This is a first class organization.
