The entire organization is top-notch. Dr. Fathi and Dr. Luna are excellent, and the administrative team is equally impressive--professional, well-trained, responsive, and consistently excellent with communication. Then they act like they're doing me a favor to squeeze me in, about 30 minutes later. I got the least thorough examination I've ever received from a dermatologist. Dr. G answered all of my questions very directly, and seemed to be a straight shooter. I really appreciate this in a Doctor, and it makes me feel a little more confident in his abilities. My skin cancer removal went very well, and the whole process took only about 3 hours. There was zero pain after the first shot prick, and I've had none so far after 36 hours. The staff were all top notch, and very friendly. They even sent me home with alll of the things I needed to keep up the wound for the next few days. I couldn't be more happy with the services here. They are both fantastic doctors with exceptional skills and bedside manner. Dr Ogrich is an excellent surgeon with a gentle hand. She delivers incredible results. She repaired a previous car accident repair on my face and I never thought it would ever heal but it did and you can't even tell it was ever an issue. It is amazing. Truly. Then, she removed an unusual skin tumor and once again the results are exceptional. With the addition of Dr Latowsky's laser treatments, this entire year of medical issues is becoming a distant memory. I am so lucky to have these exceptional doctors in my life and on my team and couldn't recommend them more.

I spoke w Jenna-Manager in 2025 and explained my situation and understood my situation and agreed that No credit card would be needed on file. I was seen in 2026 and was not an issue until another visit. I saw the provider and said someone would call me. I spoke to Alyssa-Office Manager and explained situation. She stated she already spoke with Jenna-Practice Manager and I would need to leave credit card on file. They said they are being following the rules now for 2026. Explained I was already seen in early 2026 and nothing was said. She was rude and condescending. I asked to speak with Jenna and she will tell you the same thing. I still requested a call. No callback was received. Also, there was a note in my file to not allow cc on file per Jenna. Why is this not honored by Practice Manager?

Pinnacle people are very lacking! Didn't do their work when I booked my next appointment and explained as I do ANNUALLY! My insurance has changed and gave them my new id number. I gave them my new insurance (existing patient) and explained over the phone when I booked my appointment, my insurance is a new plan. When I arrived and presented my new ID card, they explained they didn't accept my new insurance. So why did I take 1/2 day off from my job? They had my info a week ago!! They could have called me to cancel.... Rather than make me drive 1/2 way across town. Do they expect me to pay cash? I would have booked appointment elsewhere. In my network. SMFH!

Affiliated Dermatology in Scottsdale has been incredible for me, and Dr. Lal is truly the best…read more After a nurse at a medical spa in San Diego burned my face with an IPL treatment, I spent nine months healing from second-degree burns. I was left with hypopigmentation on my cheeks and scarring on my chin and nose. I found Dr. Lal through a recommendation, and he has been the one guiding me through the remediation and healing process. He travels often for speaking engagements and he sees a lot of patients, so there can be a wait, but he is absolutely worth it. He knows exactly what he's doing, explains everything clearly, and will never recommend anything harmful or unnecessary. You can tell he genuinely has your best interest in mind. On top of that, he's funny, personable, and just has a great heart. They have billed my insurance and i have self paid without issue. I do book in advance because i want to keep things on schedule. On a rare occasion they have had to reschedule they have made every effort to accommodate. I rarely wait long to be seen but when there is a delay i don't mind. He is incredibly busy and takes such good care of me and my skin. Its because when he sees a patient he is 100% present and sometimes things take longer than expected. The staff is amazing mianni and yossana are the best medical assistants I have ever met in my entire life and I'm not exaggerating. I've gone to Morgan for injectable's and would highly recommend her. They are definitely the assets. The front desk people are really friendly and do a great job accommodating all the requests. I see Nikki the most and her efficiency - I'm sure its not easy being the main point of contact at such a busy practice but they do a great job The lobby is pleasant and parking is easy. I take the stairs but there is an elevate if mobility is a challenge. If you're looking for a dermatologist or need help with difficult skin issues, I highly recommend getting a consultation with Dr. Lal.

I can summarize my review of Mr. Lal in five words; this guy is a quack. I will refrain from…read morereferring to him as a doctor as he has not earned that title with me. I first met with Mr. Lal for a vitiligo study back in 2023. My first visit was an absolute disorganized mess. I reported to the address I was given, but the receptionist had no idea who I was, who Mr. Lal was, or even vaguely familiar of a vitiligo study that was literally happening in that office. It turns out Mr. Lal was using a back room of affiliated dermatology to conduct this study. I assume he did not have permission. I worked primarily with his two medical assistance, who likely never attended medical school, as they were also the most disorganized "medical professionals" I have ever encountered. Mr. Lal was late to every one of my visits, which were at least weekly, sometimes more frequent. I waited for up to an hour at times, at his mercy, and he never made an apology once. Part of the study required using the Excimer laser to burn off layers of skin in the affected areas. It was obvious Mr. Lal had never used an Eximer before. He literally caused the third-degree burns on my hands. I have had previous experience with the laser, and in trained hands, it is not as destructive as it was in Mr. Lal's hands. I did not complete the study. I drove over two hours every week to be treated by imbeciles who had no business involving themselves in such a complex study. I bailed before the study was complete. I hope it caused a financial loss for Mr. Lal, as he deserves nothing for his incompetence.
