I've had quite a bit of katsu, and restaurants are always crispy exteriors + dry chicken. However, with each bite of Kahu's katsu, man were they crispy on the outside yet super juicy chicken. Definitely one of the best katsu i've had haha - Katsu sauce on the side self-serve, is very easy to access and also super clean. They also offer the usual bbq chicken sauce. Reyley (im sorry if the spelling is wrong!) is so friendly and welcoming, and always greeted me with a smile I get a combo plate with teriyaki beef, bbq chicken, and the chicken katsu and its incredible every time. the mac salad might be my favorite ive ever tried. my combo involves doing a substitute, i always forget which one to order but Reyley has remembered it every time and made it super easy. the rest of my staff interactions have also been great if you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend it. the staff, quality of food and flavor of everything is top notch.

One of my friends tweeted that it was "Truck Exhaust + Good Eats". That kind of sums it up. That being said there were also huge lines, I waited for about an hour for MaFooCo and my friend waited an hour and a half for Planet of the Crepes. The food that was well worth the wait, but like a boy scout you should be prepared. Take heed if you plan on going to an event like this, get here when it starts to avoid the long lines or divide and conquer sending members of your group to different trucks and sample together. Our group was able to hit 5 different hot-spot trucks using the divide and conquer approach. Seating is limited so if you have some folding chairs they will come in handy. There is a huge value in this event for those of us who don't work near a food truck. It's a casual and inexpensive way to get to try foods off the beaten path. I will definitely be at the next Round-up!
