Booked Alyssa after our day of coordinator recommended her and I was so happy with the results! It was so easy communicating with Alyssa and she was very kind and accommodating on the start time so I could take photos with my Bouquet and other areas. I would definitely recommend her services!

Alyssa was our floral designer for our wedding and I cannot speak highly enough about her. We booked her more than a year out because I found her page on Instagram and fell in love. Not only was she hyper-communicative, she was 100% transparent and honest when it came to design, flowers in season (October Wedding), and how they would be able to be used throughout the ceremony. She got so many things locally, and it was an absolute pleasure to finally meet her in person! If I lived closer I would do anything to have a bouquet from her on my table at least every other week! If you are looking for floral design, Alyssa is your girl! Take a look at the amazing photos for yourself!

I had an amazing experience with Desert Rose Creative! I've been meaning to post this review for a year now, but Alyssa did an amazing job at our desert wedding last spring. I always smile when I look at the florals - especially my gorgeous bouquet which was exactly what I requested. Definitely recommend!

Alyssa was incredible to work with and her floral creations absolutely blew me away. They were one of my favorite parts of our wedding and really elevated the whole look and feel. Her arrangements are unique but timeless and I couldn't have dreamed of better! The whole process was so easy, I sent her a few photos, we had a couple of phone calls and she absolutely nailed it!

Alyssa absolutely slayed our small wedding. Our goals in planning our elopement were simple: keep everything as low stress as possible and really showcase our personal style as a couple. Alyssa went above and beyond in both categories! She designed and styled gorgeous florals for the ceremony, helped us find phenomenal vendors, and on the day-of made sure everything went smoothly. Our big day was gorgeous, meaningful, and, thanks to Alyssa and Desert Rose, stress-free and seamless. I cannot recommend Alyssa highly enough! She's a creative powerhouse and exceptional organizer. She has nerves of steel and handled all of the small things that inevitably arise planning a wedding during a pandemic with total aplomb. And above all, she's so kind and her love for planning weddings and creating memories to last a lifetime is evident in everything she does, from the shortest email check in, to crafting the dreamiest setting for our special day. Alyssa is a top notch wedding planner and floral designer and I am 100% recommending her to everyone I know. Thanks Alyssa! You're the best!

Alyssa exceeded all of our expectations , she went above and beyond to make our florals what wedding dreams are made of! Alyssa's prices and value for her beautiful floral talents are the best in the basin. Alyssa made sure to meet with us in advance to go over each and every detail before our wedding day to ensure that it was exactly what we envisioned. She ensured that the vision we had our big day was in line with the inspiration board we provided her including 2 large arch arrangements, 2 bride's bouquets,9 center pieces, 5 boutonniere, and 6 corsages . She also made sure everything was picture perfect for our bouquets including incorporating a picture pendant as well as carefully wrapping our bouquets in hand lettered ribbons that I had traced my late mothers handwriting on. She ensured that these special ribbons were wrapped perfectly and we will forever treasure these as it helped both of us feel close to my mom who attended the wedding within our hearts, she even created a custom lantern corsage for the occasion. In addition, Alyssa was also able to troubleshoot an issue and pivot as needed when the original plan for our center pieces didn't work out. She quickly and calmly explained the issue at hand and provided us with several options for remedying the issue, we truly believe that the center pieces she provided were even better than our original idea! Following our wedding, we received numerous compliments about our florals and overall vibe of the wedding that she helped us craft. Alyssa is amazing to work with and we recommend her to anyone looking for a high quality floral experience!

I'm still a little shocked over how bad our ceremony flowers were. Attached are two pictures with the inspiration I sent and then a picture of what we got. I wanted stacked potted plants and flowers. It was supposed to look full, healthy, and flourishing. Instead, I got like 5 small, sad, wonky cactuses. It was so tacky and horrible to also be able to fully see the crates. I had asked Alyssa if she had basket pots to use and she said yes. No idea what happened to that. It looks like someone came and stole all our flowers. I don't know what she was thinking. Alyssa specially asked me if I wanted flowers on our arch and I told her I really just wanted the potted plants. I said that the plants should be so voluminous that we don't need flowers on the arch. She did the flowers on the arch anyway, I guess to try and make up for how bad the potted plants looked. But it wasn't what we wanted. This was $2,000. I don't understand how that's possible. I wish she was honest and told us she wasn't able to do it rather than put some $5 cactuses on crates and call it a day. I'm so embarrassed about how it looked. We wanted to do something different and unique and it came out looking cheap and uninspired.

Alyssa is the best!! She nailed my wedding flowers and they were better than I envisioned. Thank you so much!

My fiancé and I stumble across Desert Rose creative on Yelp and found Alyssa and her company on IG. We really wanted to work with small businesses for our wedding and were so glad we found Alyssa. She did an amazing job on our florals for our wedding. The selection of flowers, colors, and arrangements were exactly what we desired. Alyssa took the time to answer all of my questions, clarifications and details that's meant so much to us. She was able to accommodate our center pieces, arch, bouquets, boutonnieres and florals for our cake. They were ALL stunning. I couldn't get over how beautiful they all were. My family was so excited to take home our center pieces as "recuerdos" and have raved about how stunning the pieces were. Forever will mention Desert Rose Creative to family and friends in the desert.

I am beyond grateful to for Alyssa at Desert Rose Weddings. She did a wonderful job creating the Joshua Tree elopement of my dreams. Although plans changed due to the current events she was ready to adapt to the situation and completely excel in every aspect of planning and execution of my special day. Her attention to detail and understanding of my vision was amazing! Everything was absolute perfection including the custom bouquet and flower arrangement she made from local Farmer's Market flowers. I am confident in her ability to create the most wonderful memories for each and every couple that is lucky enough to choose her to coordinate their special day!

Desert Rose Wedding Co. was a company that caught my eye and I love the way the look and style of the wedding to all the services provided. Alyssa is the absolute best in wedding coordinator and officiant. Her attention to my every detail was perfect. Her patience and communication helped run our elopement smoothly. Alyssa also provided every detail about the elopement or small-wedding of 10 people guest, from our vows to the timeline. I am so glad Alyssa was there to help me through the whole thing. Alyssa also did our flowers and a macramé wall for the ceremony. She helped me pulled this off in two weeks. It was amazing and she brought my ideas, imagination, and expectations to life. Not only is she extremely professional but also a company that would fit my budget. I highly recommend her.

At first, I thought a "stress free wedding" is an imaginary mythical concept. Then I encountered Alyssa from Desert Rose Wedding Co. Huge thanks to all her hard work, dedication, passion, creativity and attention to detail, the day of my wedding flowed so smoothly. Everything was simply seamless. I feel like she did every little thing for me (which she did) and all I did was show up! She was our officiant, florist, coordinator, planner, event stylist/designer, and my wedding day support system, backbone, glue, and cheerleader. I couldn't ask her for more. I've already started recommending her to friends. Do yourself a huge favor and make your life easier, hire Alyssa from Desert Rose Wedding Co. You won't regret it. It will provide you with the ultimate privilege to enjoy every single millisecond of the biggest day of your life. Thank you so very much, Alyssa!

I couldn't stop admiring my bouquet, even as we were driving off into the sunset. 3

From our first meeting, Gwen made sure we were taken care of -- from a detailed list of recommended vendors (all of whom were amazing), so check-ins as we got closer to our date, being available as my stress started to spike, her rockstar team who welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed -- and most of all, the most magical backdrop for our special day. Rimrock was perfect. We had about 120 guests, which felt like the perfect size for us. There was enough parking for all (we did encourage carpooling and pre-booking taxis just to be sure). We had several of our friends stay on the ranch with us, which made the weekend even more special. We held a welcome dinner Friday night, with about 40-50 people -- Ranch staff made sure we had plenty of adult beverages while we enjoyed everyone's company. The Hatch House was lovely, and the perfect spot for me and my ladies to get our hair and makeup done before the ceremony. And the ceremony location -- pure magic. The venue naturally created so many beautiful photo opportunities for our guests, with that gorgeous sunset leaving everyone in awe. Gwen even offered to let us take some wedding photos with one of her horses! Not too hot or cold, but they had plenty of blankets for anyone who needed one. By the time it was over, my gratitude was endless -- Gwen, Eric and their team took such good care of us, and I felt so happy with every single moment. Five stars, highly recommend!!! I have a laundry list with multiple sources of evidence to prove that my contract with this venue…read morewas not fulfilled in anyway. Nothing but broken promises and chaos. I hired Celeste with "venue 19" for my wedding on October 12th, 2024 and I was completely disappointed the entire time. The music was playing ads when I had already told Celeste multiple times I have Spotify premium that she can use. The sound was going In and out the entire time even though she assured me that her brother was a technical wiz and had a great sound system. (This was also in our contract to have working audio) The colors I chose and confirmed with her 5 times was also not present at the wedding whatsoever. I had actually reached out to her 4 or 5 times to let her know if she can't get the colors and theme I was going for them I would pay for the decorations and flowers myself. The start time was the biggest downfall of the wedding. I had confirmed with celeste more than a handful of times that my guests will arrive at 4pm cocktails and ceremony will start promptly at 5pm. Multiple emails, text messages, agendas, and wedding invitations had the times and she still asked the vendors to come 2 to hours later. (Spoke with each vendor and they confirmed Celeste lied to them about start times) My guests and myself were waiting for hours for everything to get started. Drinks were hot and left in the sun so those that came on time couldn't enjoy anything. She also had her two dogs running around the venue the entire time begging my guests for food, running on my dress, and jumping on chairs where people were eating. She also had my guests take their own chairs/benches themselves from the ceremony area to the dinning area. Which might I add was also a complete disaster since she had no lighting. My guests were eating in complete darkness the entire time. I had to pay my camera guy extra money so that he can bring out some lighting of his own. (Didn't last long since he was not prepared to supply the event lighting) this was also in my contract to have lighting provided by Celeste. A dance floor and tent was also in my contract. She did not have any tents whatsoever. The dance floor was not strong enough to hold any weight. The boards were not up to code and had holes so we were all stuck in our tables with no lights. Unfortunately I mistakenly trusted her to be the officiant of the wedding which she also ruined. Could have been such a special moment for me and my husband that she ruined. She was flustered, forgot her place twice and two several minutes to get back on track, as well as forgetting the exchanging of rings part. She started her speech by talking about herself for several minutes and telling the crowd to not be mad at her because none of the mishaps were her fault... I had reached out to Celeste so many times to offer my help and extra money if needed. I was over the top patient with her and the only thing I received in return was excuses by her playing the victim. She ended everything by sending me threatening emails as text messages that she would sue me if my friends and family did not stop leaving bad reviews (reviews she had taken down by yelp)

With not too much to offer near by I plugged in the address into Yelp and saw that this place was close enough. I called Robin and told her we REALLY wanted to stay and was just so hoping they had a room available in the house. She said, sure, but she couldn't guarantee what the place would look like due to a bad sandstorm they had just endured. This place is like cowboy heaven. The cleanliness, immaculate. No sign of any sand storm. Every inch of the land is ornately and meticulously designed by her and her husband Manuel. Vintage objects placed here and there making every step of the landscape look picturesque. They greeted us so warmly and gave us a small tour of the outside including their beautiful salt water pool. We weren't prepared for the inside. All refurbished wood, native american carpet motifs, vintage knick knacks galore, and not to mention a stereo with a great record collection as well as air-conditioning and a TV. We were so happy to be at the Tower Homestead we quickly raced off to see our friend in concert and quickly came back so we could embrace this beautiful ranch. Manuel anticipated our move and when we came back he had placed salsa and chips on the table for us to snack on! In the morning Robin cooked us a great organic breakfast. Manuel took us around and we chatted about the history of the place. We got up early just to enjoy their company and the morning desert. Right before we left we visited Robins amazing store in town called Cowboy Attic where my friend and I couldn't help but buy some of that cowboy decor we had been ensconced in at the ranch. We told Robin and Manuel this wouldn't be the last time they see us. We are currently thinking of things we can do close by just so we have a reason to go back and stay. Without a doubt the best decision I have ever made on a Bed and Breakfast.

When I looked at the photos on VRBO and Google (search "pipes canyon lodge wedding"), I was impressed by the 20 5-star reviews and the gorgeous weddings held at the property. In my mind, if this place is nice enough to be a wedding venue, it must be well worth $700+/night. At that price, I was expecting a 5-star property. It IS a charming house with a great layout, views, and amazing staff (see other VRBO reviews), but I left disappointed. Here's why: 1. It's dusty. REALLY dusty. Considering that the profile lists "low allergen environment" as a selling point, we were surprised to find that we couldn't even sit on the couch in the living room without having an allergy attack. There was a layer of dust on the lampshades and art in my friend's room and I woke up with a completely clogged nose and watery eyes when I slept on the twin beds. This place is in need of a serious deep cleaning. I suggest getting the living room couch and all bedroom throw pillows professionally cleaned and covering everything with bed sheets in between guests. 2. Rats outside. There were NONE in the house. However, one side of the patio was covered with rat droppings in the morning. From the porch, we watched rats scamper from one cactus to another. I would suggest putting rat traps on the side of the house to help with this. Our dog had to stay inside because she kept eating the rat droppings. 3. No black out curtains in the bedrooms. Ok, this is a desert house. The sun is in full swing by 6:30am every day. For the comfort of your guests, please hang up some black out curtains. Not everyone wants full sun at the wee hours of the morning. Considering the price we paid, it is not unreasonable to expect to sleep past 6:30am. 4. Great kitchen, but no staples. Sugar? Coffee? Napkins? Sponges? Nope! The kitchen had a very nice selection of pots, pans, and appliances, but we had to buy even the most basic items. When guests arrive at 7:30pm, it'd be nice to have some coffee available for that first morning. 5. Cigarette butts all around the yard and on the porch. It's a rental, I get it. I expected a "Non Smoking House" to clean that up.   6. Beat up furniture inside house. Beds gave us backaches. I paid a premium expecting a luxury rental or at least something nicer than my own house. May want to consider different pricing for weddings vs. families.

We thought we would run out of things for them to do. Not at all. The mansion is so huge, they had plenty of room to stretch out, the hills on the property provided for fun sledding and snowman building. The adults were either at the sauna, jacuzzi, kitchen, outside in the snow walking the 2 acres of property or just relaxing in one of the many comfy nooks. I highly recommend Edgewood Mansion for any type of event whether it's a birthday trip, family reunion, corporate retreat or any other purpose where you want to feel like you're at home, or provided for like a Queen. The location which is located higher up in the mountains is away from the traffic. The accommodations are immaculate and the concierge services provided by Chantal who was available to us 24/7 before we got there and during, was spot on. However, the Desert Lily's website does not reflect this change. When you look at all of the reviews on Yelp/Trip Advisor/Google, you will note that Carrie's level of service is amazing. That was one of our selling points when choosing this place. It was disappointing. The positive of this place is that the location and views are AMAZING. About 2 miles out of the JT park entrance. Couldn't be more convenient. HOWEVER, the beautiful views and location is ruined by the service (or lack thereof) by the new owners. There is no employee on site on a regular basis. No one. So, you need help with the wi-fi? Need more towels? Have a question? You have to call the number listed, and leave a message, and you will get a text from a bot a couple hours later which doesn't help you at all. You don't get to talk to a real person unless they decide to call you, which didn't happen most of the time I tried to reach out. The website states that all of the cabins have wi-fi. That's one of the reasons we picked this place; we all had work to do. However, the wi-fi doesn't reach out to the cabins. And, cell service is spotty on premises (there were three of us in our group--they had ATT & Sprint--no luck for them. I had Verizon, which worked). So, even if you want to IG some amazing pics or just get your email and you don't have Verizon, you have to go to the main house which sucks. Another reason we picked this place was that the cabin listed had a grill we could use. There are very little dining options in JT, so we thought we would eat most of our meals in. The grill has got to be 30 years old, and is unusable. So that was a major bummer too. The cabin we stayed in (Biltmore) was functional, but needs a little TLC. Not expecting perfection whatsoever; however, one of the drawer faces fell off when we tried to pull it out. There's no screens on the upstairs windows; bugs abound at night and it got really stuffy up there. The cabin is probably 30+ years old, and it just needs a little face lift. It's cute and funky. We met another traveler who hadn't been provided the information when she arrived on how to get into her room. She rambled around the place for a few hours before someone got back to her. So, our experience wasn't unusual. The main house has a sign that says "ring bell for service" but no one answers. They need to take that down because it sets up expectations. As I told the owner, if I wanted an AirBNB, I would have booked one. However, I was given the impression that I was staying at a BNB. This is not a BNB. It's serve yourself. And the website, to this day, still bills itself as a BNB. About me: late 40s, low key and not high maintenance. Travel a lot. I know what's reasonable to expect, and what's unreasonable. The new owners need to do a better job communicating to their guests that they are on their own.
