We picked a dress on our own from a mannequin at the front of the store and she had the nerve to ask the bride in the dressing room "do you even know how much this dress costs?" Throughout the appointment she kept commenting on us "being able to swing" alterations as if we could not afford it. It was really disheartening to see the brides face when she kept commenting on money- so uncomfortable. We kept our composure and did not want to ruin ours and other brides experiences that were in the shop during our appointment. The young blonde that helped our bride in the fitting room was a peach. She never made a comment about pricing and was so uplifting the entire appointment. She was the only reason we stayed the entire duration of the appointment. We have been to multiple fittings this season and this is a first to EVER be treated like this. So unprofessional and just sad.

They gave us all champagne and made us all feel celebrated and special. It was so special, I still remember it so vividly. 10 years later, I walked in with my 4 year old daughter. She wanted to see where I got my wedding dress. I told them I shopped there before and my daughter just wanted to look at the dress near the door. They greeted us warmly and invited us to look around! I was shocked they did that. After a while, the girl came by to check on us. She asked my daughter who her favorite Disney princess is and then showed her to all the Disney princess inspired dresses. She pulled out the Jasmine one for her to see. My daughter was so excited! Honestly, they did not need to do all that nor did I ever expect it. They made a little girls day so special that day. Took me a few months to process this experience. I accompanied my best friend to her appointment as her bridesmaid and also a bride to be myself. I was hoping to take a quick glance at some dresses during the appointment to see if I wanted to come back for my own dress on a different date. Everything was going well at first. She then instructed all accompanying guest to sit on the couch. It then became clear that Bonnie was the only person allowed to browse dresses and pick them for the bride to try on. The quality of the dresses were a bit questionable, looked similar to temu/SHEIN quality. After the first dress, Bonnie started insisting my best friend's dress was at David's Bridal. I wasn't sure if this sudden change of demeanor was because of a comment my friend made about her budget (which wasn't low) or because the rest of our party were Spanish speakers giving their opinion Spanish. It then started to seem like she did not want to make a sale. We asked her several times to pull specific dresses that we could see on the rack and suggested different styles, but she refused and even said "a ballgown on the beach? She will look stupid" to one dress we pointed at(pictured). She also told the bride she will not lose any weight because the holidays were coming up. After a few dresses, we decided to leave. We both could not believe the experience we had just had. Luckily, we had amazing experiences and found our dresses at Bridal and Veil in San Diego.
