If I could give this company zero/negative stars I would!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
We just purchased a new home last year and Bob (Desert Dri Foam) was recommended to us by our realtor (maybe he got a kickback?). Bob offered to clean the all carpets and tile in our 4-bedroom, 2,250 SF house for $300 which I thought was a deal! He up-sold me by another $100 for pre-cleaning carpet treatment and post-cleaning carpet protectant for high traffic areas (which made the carpets hard and crunchy) and grout sealant post tile and grout cleaning (which left a thick, sticky, slimy residue over the entire tiled area). Prior to cleaning day, Bob came and spot cleaned the dingiest areas of the carpets and tile to show me what I could expect with his service - after the supposed "cleaning", those small spots were the cleanest spots in the entire house, the rest of the carpets looked more vacuumed than cleaned. Additionally, he missed several areas in the house (all the closets and walk-in closets, half of the upstairs loft, and an entire bedroom) which was apparent from the marks left behind by the "cleaner" or vacuum. I took pictures and called Bob post cleaning to share my disappointment in the service (I wasn't sure if he had someone else other than himself come do the cleaning). Bob initially went into a long rant about his carpet and tile cleaning process and all the things he did to try to get my carpets clean - all in an attempt to try to convince me that my carpets were sooooo horrendous that no one would be able to get them clean. My argument to this was - you came and spot cleaned the high traffic carpet areas and spot cleaned the dingiest grout line and got those clean - YOU said that was what I could expect for the rest of the house. If you were of the opinion that the carpet and tile weren't salvageable why wasn't this mentioned during your initial visit??? I paid extra for the pre-cleaning treatment to ensure that the carpets would get clean and the post-cleaning protectant because Bob promised clean carpets and grout (why would I want to protect dirty carpets??). After I sent him photos showing areas of the house that hadn't even been touched and comparisons between the spot clean areas and the surrounding "cleaned" areas and informed him that we had a camera installed prior to his work that showed that he was only at the house for a couple hours, and went even as far as threatening to take him to small claims court - did I FINALLY get him to come back and redo the work. The second round, I made sure my husband was home (because I didn't trust this man in our house after our conversations) during the 2nd round of cleaning to make sure he performed all the work as promised. The carpets, when actually cleaned, turned out great (but it took at minimum 2-weeks of daily back and forth phone calls to get to this point). He couldn't perform the tile work because his machine broke or became faulty during the kitchen tile cleaning (which he tried to blame on our "dirty" tile) so I told him we would accept a partial refund for the tile work ($50) - which we have yet to receive!! I've called him several times since he completed the job to get this refund mailed to me BUT he always said, "it's in the mail" and I should be receiving it in the next few days, after several weeks (3-months) of this he quit answering my calls all together. So $400 later - this has been the absolute worst carpet and tile cleaning service I have ever received. Not only is Bob unprofessional, but he up-sells you for everything (he's very convincing), gets very defensive when you try to voice a complaint, and will give you every excuse in the book to get out of doing proper work and providing good service. Bob tarnished our home buying experience and created a never ending headache which lasted a good 4-months - after my dealings with him, I felt dooped, scammed, taken advantage of, disrespected, and consistently lied to. I would not trust this man in my house and neither should you! read more
