Very attentive and they provide a good service. Quick turnaround. After trying out several different cleaners, I've stayed with them. I've been coming here for about 10 years and they always do a great job. Prices just went up a few months ago, so that's not good. read more

I recently decided to shorten all my Levi pants. I had 34/32 pants, and decided they were all.just too long. So i checked pricing at several local tailers, and found this place charges only half of what the competition wants to hem a pair of pants. So i took in two pair, and a week later picked them up to find they were expertly done. Now im taking in three more pair to make my Levi pants 34/30 instead of 34/32..Great prices, great service. read more

Excellent and quick service! Clothes came back extremely clean and free of smells. I had a dress that wasn't dry cleaned well (from a dryer cleaners closer to home), but this dress came back fresh smelling without me needing to say anything. Thank you! read more

Sorry but an 8.5% "surcharge" on top of the prices to pay for xyz employee expenses is just so wrong. Do not plan on bringing my business there anymore. Long time customer but it's infuriating. CHARGE WHAT U NEED TO CHARGE to make a profit & let the customer decide if they want to bring their laundry there but I've had enough of these underhanded "surcharges" When restaurants do it I dispute the fee. U got an extra couple of bucks from me this time but it's the LAST TIME. read more

I took a comforter in to have cleaned on a Thursday and was told it would be ready the following Thursday. While I was there I signed a release of liability form because they don't guarantee that the comforter won't get lumps during the cleaning process. At least that's what was explained to me. Anyway, I was eager to get the comforter back so I went to pick it up on the Thursday I was told it would be ready. It wasn't ready. At first the employee said she couldn't find it. Finally she found it. It had a note on it stating that it couldn't be cleaned until I signed one of the forms. I asked her why they didn't call me to let me know. "Oh we've been really busy." I said "too busy to make a simple phone call?" She shook her head yes. I asked to speak to the manager. "He's not here." Then I asked who the owner is. She said she didn't know who the owner is. One excuse and lie after another. In this day and age, I don't have any patience for lack of communication. Someone could've at least text me. People LOVE to text. I know they have customers phone numbers because that's how they look up your order. Needless to say I won't be patronizing or recommending Desert Discount Cleaners. read more

The staff at least at this location are not competent, the clothes never come out as clean as they should, and I had brought an expensive comforter and two pillow shams to be dry cleaned and they washed it and it shrunk and ruined the shape. I do not recommend, using this cleaners! read more

Horrifying! What a disgraceful business scam charging 8.5 surcharge! !! I would NEVER pay such a ridiculous fee that the owners pocket!

NEVER USE THIS CLEANERS!!!! They keep your clothes. This episode is my second one. I didn't fight the first one. This one I am. The lady that helped me just lied. She new when I picked up my clothes that I was missing a white shirt. She told me that she saw the white shirt. She just lied! Her boss is never there. Also she said he said take him to small claims court. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND KEEPS YOUR CLOTHING! read more

I had been using this dry cleaner for 20 + years. Prices were good, quality not always so good. They destroyed a very expensive designer dress I brought in. Black linen with black beads that I wore once. I took it in in good shape, picked it up and it was literally shredded! When I asked the manager what happened, he told me it was brought in this way- are you kidding???? Then had the nerve to charge me to destroy an expensive dress. It appears the owners have left the business as I tried reaching them directly to discuss what happened to no avail. Heart broken over the loss of a beautiful expensive dress- and disgusted over the lies and the way the manager handled this. They have lost a long time customer- spent a minimum of 150/ month for years. It's one thing to make a mistake, but to cover it up and lie about it- criminal ! read more

The shirt was received back with stains removed, having been dry cleaned at no additional charge

Cleaned a king bed mattress cover and did a really good job. Reasonable prices too. I will use them again for my dry cleaning needs.

This dry cleaner has some of the best prices I did price comparisons and they did a good job and they were reasonably priced

Very polite and professional. Always prompt and do a nice job. I strongly recommend them

I've had it many times get the cloths back with dirt and stains on them. Pants bottoms dirty, shirts stains still on them and they tell you can't be removed but they'll send it out again. I don't mind paying a bit extra to have those hard stains removed just let me know instead of the hustle read more

I have been using them for over ten years and they are very reliable. Rarely, do I get the tag saying that they were unable to remove stains, etc. I highly recommend them. read more

Best cleaners at the lowest price in the desert. Love them. Was paying double the price at the fancy cleaners. No more

Only (3) bad experience(s) I have ever had at a cleaners. I kept giving them chances but they ruined 2 pairs of jeans they hemmed to short (same visit), so brand new jeans got donated to charity. Then on the laundry, they fried a cuff on a custom made shirt. I left several requests for the manager to please call me but I did not receive a response. I guess the "Discount" is on service, professionalism and quality. Needless to say, I have moved on to a professional cleaners. Similar pricing but no "discount". read more

One star too many. This business lacks professionalism and cannot provide its services on time. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service, especially from the manager, who disrespectfully walked away from me while I was speaking to him. I visited this Discount Cleaners last week and was told my two garments will be ready two days later. When I returned to pick-up my items, I was told that only one of my garments was ready. I asked why the other was not ready and the women said, "That's what the computer says and we can't find it." What?!? I asked her if she could look for it and she rummaged through a bin of clothes and ran her fingers through a rack, right behind her and replied, "No, I can't find it." I explained that I need to wear the dress the next day, so she called the manager. The manager asked, "What would you like me to do?" I told him I would like my dress. He said, "We'll look for it and try to have it ready so that you can pick it up before work in morning." I told them I will have to change my wardrobe plans and pick up the dress when it's convenient for me another day. I picked up the dress this afternoon and the women up front provided my dress and my total. I asked to speak to the manager. I told him I do not think I should have to pay for the dry cleaning, since it was not ready and has caused an inconvenience. He said you're right and then provided a 50% discount. I couldn't help but laugh. I told him this was my first time at this location and before I had the opportunity to tell him that I was disappointed with their customer service he just walked away from me. read more

I recently took in a dress to have it hemmed. I was quoted $11.50 when I dropped off the dress. When I picked it up the charge was $12.50. When I questioned the price, the lady didn't seem to care at all about the discrepancy. I paid the $12.50 to get my dress. When I got it home and looked at it, it was uneven with threads still hanging off of the hem. I was not at all impressed with this alteration. Next time, I will go back to Ralph's sewing. Now that I have put on the dress....it was actually worse than I first saw. The dress has a slit on both sides at the hem. They sewed the slit together at the bottom on one side only! I had to cut through it so I could even wear it on my vacation. read more

Don't bring expensive clothing here. They ruined my designer blouse by adding a dark green stain to it on the front. The "manager", J.P., screamed at me saying they don't add stains. The clerk who took in my blouse knew it wasn't there before I dropped it off, but she wouldn't admit it to him. After trying to remove it twice, it shrank, and they gave me a few dollars to never go back. read more

On February 19th, 2016 I brought our duvet to the cleaners for cleaning. According to my receipt it was "outsourced". I went back to pick it up and it was missing. I was told to wait 1 month before they would offer a credit. I waited a month and spoke with the manager, Jacob Maldonado. He gave me his card, we talked about the value of the duvet and I said I needed to talk to my wife regarding that. As of today, and 6 plus phone calls from me and my wife we have never been able to get him to call us back or get him on the phone. I would recommend "them". They do need to do a better job on white shirts. I find them friendly and good at correcting problems.

The best in the desert! They cleaned and preserved my wedding gown.... no yellowing has occurred!

People beware! Staff is nice at Palm Desert location, but if your bringing your high end clothing here chances are they will be returned damaged. First visit an Escada suit returned to me with missing buttons. I thought why not give them a second chance, after all they do have the best prices in town. 2nd visit they ruined the sleeves on a Mugler jacket. Called left several messages w/no call back. Not worth the dry cleaning discount!!! read more

My husband and I have been bringing the bulk of our laundry and dry cleaning here for probably ten years, after trying multiple other cleaners around the valley. We're not spending an exorbitant amount on their services (we probably average $200 a month, as we pretty much each have our clothes cleaned after a single wearing each day). My husband is very particular about how things are done (buttons on suits covered in foil before cleaning, Polo shirts folded over a hanger instead of hung on one, collar stays removed before pressing, paper put into jacket sleeves, no creases in jeans legs, plastic holders inserted over top button of shirts to hold collar correctly while hanging). They accommodate all these things. 100% perfect, no, more like 98%....but when anything is pointed out as needing attention, they handle it no questions asked. Considering the volume we give them, that's better than any cleaners we've used here or in LA, where we spent an average of $600 a month. Crazy, I know, but you should know my husband! The clothes we wear always look perfect! read more

I have used this company for several years and am deeply disappointed to see its reputation and performance deteriorate substantially over the past two years. Poor to mediocre dry cleaning, with occasional irreparable damage to garments. Customer service is disgusting, with Jacob (manager) being combative and highly unwilling to assist customers and/or resolve issues. Further, Jacob does not pass information to owners and is a true detriment to the company. This company and in particular, its management, take absolutely no responsibility for damage to your property and will attempt to justify their shortcomings unscrupulously. I would highly suggest staying away from this business. Do yourself a favor and look to other website discussing this company. There is too much competition to give your business to a company which clearly does not possess any values, particularly honesty and accountability. read more
